Daren had always loved music from an early age, good music was fun to listen to and a soothing voice was always the best for a good calm, but there was one thing he liked more than music and that was MYSTERY.
He liked mysterious things or people, the suspense, the confusion, the annoyance, the curiosity, and every single feeling mysterious things or people gave.
He liked the mystery but once it was solved, he would lose interest instantly as a solved mystery wasn't a mystery anymore.
That was why this pretty guy... Jerry had caught his eye.
Gorgeous short white hair, beautiful blue orbs, pretty long lashes, a cute button nose, lovely thin pink lips, a slender-looking body, and pale but lively-looking skin not to mention, a wonderful voice!
But what caught his eyes most was..... the mystery, as an awakened Ancient, he knew an Ancient when he saw one, awakened or not, apart from traces of spiritual energy, there was also that of pheromones, this was why awakened or not, omegas and alphas were generally drawn to each other.
But this guy, Jerry, was clearly normal but why was there traces of spiritual energy around him? Spiritual attracting energy... the powerful and very dangerous ones that not only attracted but also trapped you in admiration, the type that was so strong that it was like hypnosis!
The spiritual energy portrayed a manipulation-like power and a very strong one at that! And even something terrifying, the energy was subconsciously manipulating others around him and getting them to be naturally attracted to him!
This was even impossible for a Pure! Spiritual energy works as a sort of power and without the person being awakened, it couldn't work.
A normal awakened wouldn't notice this but Daren was awakened with a clairvoyant kind of power that sensed unnatural things, it didn't see the future or anything, it was just like a sixth sense but very powerful.
Daren could sense clearly unnatural things about a person which was awesome for a person like him who loved mysteries.
For him to sense a normal with something even a Pure didn't have was simply....! He had hit jackpot! But first, he needed to set an appointment with him to see his brother! He would really get a shock.
Seeing Jerry about to leave, he instantly caught him, no way he was going to leave this walking mystery alone!
The white-haired pretty boy responded politely with a 'yes?' to his action and even such a simple action made it seem like flowers had surrounded him, really pretty, but Daren refused to be entranced!
"Em..., can we meet at the cafeteria, during break period?" he had asked excitedly.
"Well..." the white-haired cutie had tilted his head slightly making his hair fall over his right shoulder, Daren flushed slightly. Really too dangerous, this guy was setting off attraction feels everywhere without even knowing.
The omega-like beauty seemed to be contemplating his request and soon stopped, facing him he was about to answer.... when a really rude brat interrupted!
He was gorgeous with dark green hair and green eyes and a somewhat lean but muscular body, he was the guy that had sung with the cutie and he was also not lacking in the looks department, he was another normal.
'Seriously? When did normals become so good-looking? Even prettier and more good-looking than Ancients?' Daren thought

The b*stard not even feeling sorry for just badging into a conversation like that, very rudely answered for the cutie!
"No, he won't," Jack had said very rudely.
"Why?" a displeased Daren asked.
"Because... we're going somewhere during that time, right Jer?" Jack asked while facing Jerry.
Daren had already known where this was heading when the cutie's boyfriend interrupted. So even though the cutie seemed to be contemplating, he was sure he would choose his boyfriend, who would choose a stranger over his lover? And so, Daren wasn't surprised when Jerry said...
"Yeah..., yes!" Jerry said while nodding and pulling off his hand from Daren's.

Was the next thing Dina heard in her head and saw in her vision making her squeal internally in happiness! Yes! It increased again! Oh, how I love you meter.
Jack nor Daren couldn't hear her inner thoughts, so all they could see was a cheerful Jerry leaving the class. Jack was happy Jerry listened to him and threw Daren a sly grin before meeting up with Jerry and dragging him off.
"Wait~!" Daren had called out but that bastard had already taken his walking mystery away! He would get them! One way or the other!!

Throughout lessons, there was awkwardness between Jack and Jerry, although they had made up, a dick poking a butt ahem! Wasn't really something to just randomly forget, seriously, even if the person was only a friend.
The class before the break was language classes and that was the only class they had differently, Jack told Jerry he'd wait for him at his locker to which Jerry nodded at.
Jack was taking Greek and Latin language, it was known as one language in the school and the teachers normally took turns in teaching it whenever it was time, students were allowed to choose only one among the languages and skip lessons when the other they hadn't chosen had its turn.
It was all the same for all other languages, so although the language class was meant to have five choices, it was actually ten.
Jerry had chosen French and Spanish classes, and so they both separated into their various classes.

"Do you like it?" Jack asked Jerry with a smile.
"Mhmm, it's good," Jerry responded with a sweet smile in response.
During break, Jack had bought all sorts of desserts for Jerry, since he knew how much he loved sweet things, and that had successfully captured Jerry's heart.
They were at the school garden, enjoying the breeze and all, a bunch of students were also there giving the garden a lively atmosphere rather than a solemn one.
The school garden was lovely, with beautiful flowers and floral scents flying around and giving the place a wonderful scent, there were even a few trees there that grew all sorts of fruits and nested pretty birds.
Benches were placed around for students to sit on and as the ground was filled with flowers and tamed grasses it was also possible to sit there,
Having a picnic here would be possible Jerry had thought when he entered whilst admiring the garden and wasn't surprised when he saw a few students having their lunch on a mat spread across like a picnic.
What surprised him was when he came to the area Jack had texted him to, he saw Jack on a laid-down mat with all sorts of desserts in front of him.
'So that's why he didn't meet up with me...…' Jerry thought.
Jack had told him to try it out and he couldn't have done any less! Digging in and helping himself to some vanilla and chocolate ice cream sundae, Jerry moaned in pleasure, it was so good.
Why ask him if it was good? Jerry had thought, it was obviously perfect!
"Dig in too idiot, don't just stand there like a monk on his fast, or something," Jerry said while consuming another slice of cake.
"Sure," Jack replied.
They both ate in harmonious silence whilst enjoying the fresh floral breeze of the garden when Jack suddenly put down his fork and stared at Jerry.
Jerry: ?
"I'm sorry," Jack said dispiritedly while lowering his head wearily, Jerry was really forgiving, he had forgiven him even after what he pulled off this morning.
Thinking of it, why did he pull that? Maybe it was because he wanted to test out what Jean had said about liking Jerry?
And even now he still wasn't sure, he was afraid of jumping to conclusion that he loved Jack, and then, in the end, finding out he would be only a scum lusting after Jack's beauty and care instead of really loving him.
He wanted to tread carefully on this road called 'falling in love', so that one day he wouldn't wake up and end up asking himself if it was truly love.
He wanted to know his feelings for Jer, to make sure that they weren't fake because the last thing he wanted to do was give Jer a false truth or ever hurt Jer…
"Hmph! I warned you the first time but you wouldn't listen! Now look at how you embarrassed yourself!...." Jerry started with his admonishment while waving his fork at Jack with a pout.
"Even if you're still young, certain things can't be ignored! I'll let go of what happened today and let it be our little secret while you promise not to be naughty again… or I won't forgive! Is that understood?!" Jerry asked with a serious look on his face.
'Calling me young, what are you? A grandpa? You're just eighteen!' Jack thought gleefully.
"Ok, I PROMISE," Jack said.
"Pinky promise?" Jerry said raising up his pinky.
"Pinky promise," Jack responded while hooking his pinky around Jerry's.
Jerry nodded seemingly satisfied before releasing his pinky from Jack's, who obediently allowed him to.
"Next time, get me spicy food, I fear I'll get fat or teeth problems with all these sweet things," Jerry blabbed on.
"Okey dokey," Jack responded in a lively mood.
"What's with such a re...."
He would find out his real feelings for Jerry, because he, Jack Johnson had made a vow to pull off Jerry's mask, and lying about his feelings for him was only putting up a mask too which was against his goals.
He had sworn that NO MASKS would be in his relationship with Jerry, he himself would make sure of that.
But could Jack really do that? Especially when Jackson still remained Dina's number one? It was still unknown...
"My pinky is bigger than yours, yet here you are calling me young, tsk tsk," Jack teased Jerry.
"You..."
And they blabbed and scurried on amongst each other~.
