9.1 This messenger's hard decision
When Atlas opened his eyes, he found himself in a spaceship. Looking out the window, he saw a futuristic city in the distance with what appeared to be a judiciary edifice.
He closed his eyes for a few seconds, processing the world's information. The body he inhabited was that of Asher Anderson, a 20-year-old omega and the future king of the Klaorian Empire.
Despite it being his birthright, Asher never desired to be king. Instead, he always wanted to serve the Empire as a member of the Imperial army.
He attended the most challenging academy and graduated with honors. Following his father's passing, his uncle Tobias ruled in his place.
Asher was content with their arrangement, and they had a good relationship. Klaorian was the other half of a separate empire known as Kla'ed.
The two empires frequently engaged in war, but it came to a halt when they encountered a more significant threat.
