The Wishes
Whats going on? Where am I?
Thats what was running through my head as i opened my eyes and found a dark space all around. A bright light was shining off in the distance headed right for me.
Before i could even think it appeared right in front off me,and for some reason it spoke in how you'd imagine a wise old man to sound as well as what he would say. "It would seem that another soul has been blessed. You have the option of choosing 3 wishes to get a power,a weapon,or even a companion to join you in a life where you will go to a new world and can choose whatever you wish to take there." It was here where i thought i was having an extremely vivid dream. This thought brought me to the conclusion that I should just humor myself and will play along with this. The strange man then continued "There are some rules though. Rule 1 will be u cannot get any kind of system because the world you are going to has one for the whole world and everything in it. The 2nd rule is that you cannot ask to remove the restrictions that are placed on you by the world. The final rule is that u must choose a class based upon your race."
After thinking about it for a bit i got a few questions like,"Can i choose a bloodline or bloodlines to have? Or if i can't can i choose an artifact like a sacred gear that can affect my bloodline to be what i want it to be?" The being sounded slightly surprised when he spoke." You can do both of those you just have to be sure to specify how u want those bloodlines when they mature. What i mean by that is if u want to lose a bloodline's weakness specify it. There is a catch though you will not get the ability the bloodline is known for because u are not the individual who made it for themselves. What you will get is the potential to make something similar or greater simply because you have more insight into how their power works than when those abilities were made."
That was a decent answer. Honestly im kinda glad that the powers in my dream are more customizable than just getting guaranteed power that might not work well for me even if every other aspect of that bloodline is perfect for me.
"For my first wish i want to combine the bloodlines of Ddraig and Vritra from dxd. I want Ddraig's because of his raw power and Vritra because his dark magic which basically acts as curse magic and hes a dragon so he can will it to do whatever he wants." When the being spoke i could tell he was baffled. He said, "That's... actually a well thought out wish. Alright what about your next wish."
"For my next wish I would like to combine mana with another powerful energy source that way i can have the best of both worlds." Silence sounded for a moment until he said " That can be done however i am only giving you three options so choose well."
At that moment an ethereal purple and black colored system window with silver color words appeared which read
Mana + Chakra = Life energy
Mana + Cursed energy = Negative energy
Mana + Spiritual energy = Soul energy
I at them and description appeared for each.
Life energy-is the source of all life for a planet where as life force is the source of everything living on the planet. An example would be all of the races living on the planet have life force which is a fraction of the life energy of that planet. With this u can even borrow from the planet's supply but if over used can kill the user or the planet they live on.
Negative energy-is an energy source that grows in power from being around anything dark or evil in nature. Can also be affected by negative emotions which can replenish it quicker or empower it eventually it can be affected by those around you as well. The downside is the wielder can become darker and more open to evil.
Soul energy- is a form of energy produced by a soul which can bypass defenses and is way more potent than either energy that male it up. The downside is when it is low or you're out of it you are in a weakened state while also having to wait for it to replenish which takes an exorbitant amount of time. This will eventually strengthen the wielder's soul making more soul energy while reducing energy consumption but that can take decades or even a century to be capable of extensive use.
After reading that i decided that options 1 and 3 were out because im not waiting for Se to get that strong nor am i risking destroying the world Im in if a tremendous battle takes place. Plus dragons have plenty of negative emotions that was easy to decide.
"I choose Negative energy for my second wish."
"Alright that works, now for your final wish yo-" He couldn't finish his words because another bright light flashed through the area.
" Stop this now you cannot let him have a dragon's power now nor can you let him have the bloodlines of ones so strong." The voice of an incredibly bitchy entitled woman rang out like nails on a chalk board. I could see the first being's light grow agitated. I wasn't sure why but i immediately believed him angry.
" Why can i not do this. He has the right to ask this much since we did yank him out of his home."
The woman who started reminding me more of Melty from that shield hero anime shouted like a karen," If he was given that power he could take over the world with an ease not even seen by my supreme race i made. We cannot give him that kind of power it be to much." The first one spoke in a way reminding me of uncle Ben from marvel. He sounded wise but angered at her. Still he managed to keep himself from calm enough speak nicely enough." First of all humans are not supreme, infact the reason why you made is because you moddled them after your personality. Second of all there are plenty of strong beings capable of challenging him down the line. And finally why would he want the stress of conquering the world."
"It doesn't matter if he does or doesn't he not aloud to get that kind of power or you he can go into the void your." She spoke smugly which seemed to piss off the first being. It also pissed me off because they are not gonna give anything i want." Since your wishes have prohibited you can choose ur magic your class and will given a blessing by a being from this world."
He made three lists appeared in front of me. After a moment of scrolling i found a class i wanted to tryout.

After that the other two lists changed leaving 4 options on the magic list and 5 one the blessings list.

Thinking for a bit i decided i decided that i didn't want minion magic simply because it sucked to play with. I mean it was cool but not strong enough in my opinion even though the fire ball and evil presence spell were some examples of versatility but not overly powerful. The death magic has power and versatility but Ainz's undead while cool i would rather not have them because they can't grow in strength last i checked so not happening. I had a few ideas for demon magic but no idea for dark magic so i said i guess ill try it out simply because i felt drawn to it.

Well after that message i dropped from 5 to 3 options

Reading the first 2 shocked me that i get these options. However, the 3rd option was like it was meant for me. I felt drawn to much like one would feel drawn to their best friend or was it more like family? I didn't understand it but decided to choose it.

The first being broke me from my thoughts,"Quite the interesting choices. Before you go how about i let you see the details of your choices."
[Class:Dark Overlord- You are the overlord. You conquer lands with your minions( as in whatever serves you) and whatever else you get under your control. You rule with no equal however you have subordinates or mistress' to take care of what doesn't deserve your time. Magic:Dark magic- this is the combination of controlling darkness,cursing your enemies, and corrupting them as well as your allies to make them stronger. Known respectively as shadow,curse,and corruption magic. But stronger than someone having all 3 but not combining them. Due to restrictions you cannot alter your own body with this magic but everything else is fair game.]
Well thats a lot to take in. But the sheer ridiculousness of the next description made him question whether he should have this or not.
[Blessing of Darkness- You are the very first to receive this blessing. The very concept of darkness or evil ( depending on who you ask) is closer than a friend or family. This makes mastering anything of darkness 100% faster. Makes dark magic 50% more effective at all times. Learning magic that has any relation to dark magic in any way is 75% faster while the related magic is 35% more effective. Lastly beings of darkness as well as equipment are extremely loyal and will be able to be powered up by you when under your control. You can even make or alter equipment for yourself.]
