Chapter 2

It's been a kind of a rough couple of days stuck here in the watch tower, even if it has also been interesting.

I mean, I'm basically surrounded by some of my favorite comic book characters. Who wouldn't find that amazing really? The only downside is that it means that all the bad guys probably exist as well.

I did learn something interesting though, my favorite Martian, besides Megan anyways, can't read my mind about my past life, only the information Cadmus downloaded into my mind similar to Superboy. Everything else seems to be hidden from mental probes.

I did eventually find out from tests they ran that 15 percent of my DNA seems to come from Wonder Woman, and about 8 percent comes from Superman, the other 77 percent is unknown but is likely where my Ki powers come from.

The only reason I know I even have those abilities is because the basic knowledge of how to use them was basically implanted into my mind similar to how knowledge of the world was put in mine and super boys minds in the pods. So while I 'know' how things work and what I can do, I still need to actually learn to do it for real.

After the first time looking in the mirror, I had some minor suspicions of who my other DNA donor was though it was only a guess really, and I only chose that universe to guess from because of the Ki powers. I seem to share similar looks to Androids 17 and 18, more so 18 as it looks like I have her blonde hair and eyes, but it's hard to tell really as 18 and Diana both have blue eyes, though I share Wonder Woman's more tan complexion. So it's really hard to pinpoint it, that's simply my guess on my parentage. Not that it really matters as I am not a child, not really.

Also if we want specific looks I guess I am about just over 6' tall, fairly well built which is to be expected I suppose, blue eyes similar to Diana and fairly long blonde hair just past the shoulders similar to Lazuli's, with a complexion of that similar to Diana's. I didn't really get any physical traits from Superman, mostly all I got from him was the ability to absorb sunlight and convert it into life energy or Ki, which i am sure I will find useful in the future.

I also received well above average human abilities such as strength, speed and endurance from Diana and maybe Superman? Hard to tell really but we think it came from Diana. I can drastically increase my physical abilities with my Ki but with my base abilities without Ki, i can life about 8 tons if I strain. I'm not really proficient enough with my Ki powers yet to test them in that manner yet though so that's a big blank.

Moving on, I am also about 19 years old physically in this life so I am going to veto high school if it is brought up. There's no point in wasting a year of my time when I have more important things to do.

I have to admit that while I find it annoying to be related to Superman as I know what kind of ass he is to superboy, I'm more than happy to be related to Wonder Woman, she is usually fairly awesome regardless of situation.

I'm eventually drawn from my musings/meditation by a knock and chime of my door opening.

"Hello Diana, what can I do for you this morning?" I asked with a smile which she matched with her hands on her hips.

"You know why I am here Alexander Prince! If I didn't drag you from your room and meditations you would never leave!" She somewhat complained/whined. Though I know she was joking also. "So how is it going though, have you made progress on controlling your powers?" She was definitely curious about that as she had never seen unique powers like mine, not exactly anyways.

I had to go back to my anime roots in DBZ again and remember what Gohan told Videl when training to begin the basics of my Ki training. It was probably easier for me if I'm honest as I simply had more power to play with and in turn learn to use it faster. It also helps that it simply feels natural for me to use.

My answer is to simply levitate off the ground while still sitting in my half lotus position with my eyes closed and a small smile on my face. It only took minor concentration to do this now. Definitely progress!
