Chapter 20_"Wait"

Rock was about to close the door when Kieran suddenly said, "Wait". He suddenly thought that this girl could help him with something and decided to help her. " Let her in, I will give her the money". Rock was stunned, He looked at his boss and then the wretched girl on her knees as he had just heard the biggest joke of his life. He seemed rather reluctant but as soon as he received the cold gaze from his boss, he simply had no choice but to obey hiding the disappointment he felt. Sophia's eyes shone with a new light. Tears of relief, happiness, and gratitude flowed down her eyes as much as they reflected in them. She laughed and cried at the same time as she stared at the man who had saved her twice. Finally, the heavens had shown her mercy, oh how close she had been to being defeated. "Thank you,u sir, Thank you so much!", she thanked heartily as she gazed at Kieran who had simply turned his gaze from her. Just now when he had looked at how her face lightened up, he felt an inexplicable feeling inside of him. Something strange tugged at his heart and it scared the life out of him. He felt rather overwhelmed and just decided to look away from her. She had made him feel a lot of emotions today which he had never felt in a very long time ever since that traumatic incident. " Where to sir?", the driver suddenly asked as he started the car. "Saint Vincent's hospital", Sophia suddenly said, she couldn't waste any more time and also the man by her side seemed to be getting impatient with her. As soon as they got to the hospital, Sophia immediately rushed to step down from the car but Kieran held her hands firmly. " Your dress, you can't go in like this", he said it so calmly one will think he didn't care at all. Those words washed over her like a bucket of cold water. She stared into his grey eyes in realization and before she could say something, the young man took off his suit jacket and gave it to her to wear. Sophia who was still in a daze took the coat and wire it, After buttoning up she looked back at him but he immediately turned his eyes from her. "Thank you", she said quietly and then wiped her wet face with the back of her hands and ran her hands through her scattered hair that had already loosened and took in a deep breath. She did all of this as quickly as possible and got down from the car. " Rock you know what to do", Kieran said to his most trusted bodyguard. "Yes boss", Rock said and came down from the car. The car immediately sped away into the night. Rock watched on and sighed for a while before walking into the hospital. He truly couldn't understand what had come over his master. And that woman... it was all because of her. "What will happen when the master's family back home heard of this!". He suddenly stopped himself from thinking any further as he felt chills all over his body. He wouldn't dare imagine the outcome of all this.
