The Faded Past

Late 800 A.D. In the country of Anglo-Saxons. King Alfred The Great had defended their allies from the Viking's raids and then they went to battle against them. They sent in Raz Bluedragon, the lady that had won countless battles for England and she became a war maiden for noble acts.

The Vikings were winning the battle of "The Great Heathen Army." The Viking pushed back the Anglo-Saxon and they soon fell in a number of men. They turn to push back the Vikings by sending in the war maiden to fight off the Vikings.

Raz had sent men to the front and pushed back the Vikings from the lands and the raid was over after that England formed allies with the seven kingdoms among England's kingdom. Raz was one of the main high government members for Anglo-Saxon and she was under the king's side.

The nobleman was mad about this idea and for the next few months she went throughout England and checked the land but when she went to the kingdom of Wessex to get the information about the Vikings.

"Hello, Miss Raz."

"Hello, Noble Zeldir."

"What is the information about the Vikings?"

"The Viking had sailed across the sea and found a new world and new places to take for their own."

"Why? We are not going to stop them."

"Because we can't afford another battle against those people."

"I see but why do we need to know that information?"

"Because we need to keep the information within the seven kingdoms. If Spain and the other countries around us get this they may explore the lands before us and if that happens we will not be the first to settle the lands first."

"Isn't that taking the land from other people that live in those lands?"

"Who cares?"

"Our kingdom is number one and we need to keep it that way."

"But?"

"Have you ever heard the saying about the sunset and the English people?"

"No."

Zeldir grab Raz and told her in her ears.

"Wherever the sunset is the English is always there."

"O I understand."

She swallows her nerves and she was worried about her future in England's kingdoms.

"I better tell the King then."

"Yeah, you go do that."

Raz left but not without eyes watching her from afar. Noble Zeldir and an assassin were talking about how to destroy the seven kingdoms and make one ally among them.

"You are a very mystery noble." The assassin said.

"Yeah but I know how to make my dream come true."

"I see."

Raz discusses this matter with the king about this information but she can't sense but to not trust the nobles.

"My king, do you believe in the noble allies with you?"

"I have doubts too but not let talk about this in the garden. Let go inside my chambers."

In the present time. Raz is still talking to Apollo but Apollo was also wondering what that has to do with her last master.

"Let me get to that then. You can see through your saber my past."

Apollo grabbed the saber and looked into her memories when the Norse gods started to appear.

"It. What is this?"

"It Midgard."

"You mean one of the nine realms."

"Yes, I was summoned to Odin after my talk to the King."

Before she went to Midgard. Raz and the king were discussing the nobles.

"The noble is not trustworthy. I know but the people don't ever fight back and then when they come to me about the subject it's like they are scared to talk about the nobles."

"So do you think they will try to kill you?"

"Maybe."

"I won't let them."

"Don't."

"But?"

"You don't have the power to do that. You're just a war maiden but you can get that power from the Norse gods."

"Yes, I hear that there is just a myth but it turns out it is true and they have the power to kill us all."

"What?"

"Yes, throughout history there have been others powers that can help get the power to save this cruel society."

"So, How do I get there?"

"You can get there by going to Norway but that's the first step of going to Midgard."

"And the others?"

"That's a bit tricky."

They talked for a few more minutes but they weren't alone. The assassin from Wessex. He went back to tell Zeldir about this info he just got from them and Zeldir can use this to take the crown from the King.

"This is good."

"You seem happy for what is about to come." Assassin said.

Raz went to Norway. She sailed the high sea to Norway and she traveled for two weeks and she made it to the land of the Vikings.

"Who goes there?" The Vikings man said.

"I'm Raz Bluedragon."

"The War maiden who pushed us back and she came here to start trouble."

"No, I am not here to start trouble."

"I see, so why are you here beautiful?" The Vikings man said and his name is Arrvak."

"Arrvak. It's been too long."

"Yeah, beautiful. It had been too long."

They went back to Arrvak's camp and went inside his tent to chat about Raz's journey.

"You heard about the nine realms."

"You mean the Norse gods."

"Yes."

Everybody laughed in the tent and they were trying to figure out why she asked about a myth.

"Ha, Ha, Ha. You are asking about a myth, a legend. They don't exist and if they do we don't know where to find them. We Vikings and we explore our lands and adventures."

"But, do never try to get information on them."

"I don't know and I don't care but you are free to explore our lands but don't enter into other camps if you do so out of my hands." Lille Piken. It means little maiden.

Raz went to the shore and saw the sunset and she saw the moon from afar.

Apollo asks why she looks at the sunset and the moon.

"Because my dragon was calling out to me."

"Your dragon?"

"Yes, my dragon's name is Eclipse"

"I see."
