1 Lunch time Lunch time

Darians POV

______

Darian, a well built guy starting his senior year of highschool. Short soft brown hair with golden eyes to match, he's nothing special really. He doesn't try to stand out, he's not the most handsome guy in school or the most popular, his only defining feature is the fact he doesn't really hang out with any one in particular. In fact no one seems to know anything about him. He's just plain boring.

Darian is also plain bored out of his mind. He's friendly to everyone, he's picked up on all their secrets, all the drama. He keeps all this knowledge to himself, no one knows about the drawings he makes in his spare time or the flower shop he works at. No one knows the kind of music he listens to or the food he likes, neither do they know his favorite color or animal, or if he even likes any of those things.

Classes are the same, everyday. Nothing entertains Darian, nothing to feast his golden orbs on.

Oh, only except for the punch Giselle is throwing at another girl. Darian doesn't actually know Giselle. He knows her name, the color of her straight black raven hair, her sharp features in her face and greyish green eyes. He knows he's taller than her, but from what everyone else says, Giselle could beat up ten grown men if she wanted to.

Darian is utterly head over heels satisfied with the show Giselle brings to his table. The other girl getting the beat down, Fae, the red haired brat, has landed into Darians lunch. He isn't nearly as bothered with it as the other kids are, same with the teachers trying to get the two girls off each other. Instead Darian is completely caught off guard by the look in Giselle's eyes as she goes completely manic in front of him. Their eyes meet for a moment,"What are you staring at!? Go get some popcorn while you're at it! jeez!" Giselle furiously yells at him.

Darian almost wanted to laugh as Giselle was sarcastically encouraging him to watch. At this point he had to move away from the table before any more lunch went flying.

Fae's wild red hair soaked in food started crying after finally getting Giselle to back off with four teachers struggling to hold her back.

"Say it again bitch! Say it again! I dare you! Say it in front of everyone if you're so fucking tough you dick sucking whore!" Giselle let out a series of cuss-words as she was dragged to the principals office. Darian just stared off into the distance of the hallway as Giselle became smaller and smaller. He almost wanted to chase her down and find out what it was all about.

To satisfy his curiosity he went to the other poor boy nearest to the incident.

"What was that about?" Darian asked the kid.

"I guess Giselle just lost her shit. Fae must of said something to upset her. Dunno, but I wouldn't be too nosy with that girl, she's got a bad rep. Some say she even murdered someone!"

It wasn't like Giselle was ugly, she was kind of the opposite in fact. But from Darians three years of experience Giselle was mostly out of sight, the rumors of her being violent can't actually be true. It was surprising to Darian that Giselle didn't have more friends.

An idea sparked in Darians mind.

Giselle's POV

_________

"I'm telling you she started it!" Giselle yelled.

Giselle was trying to defend herself, only the principals facial expression was not looking to be in her favor with her last few visits.

Fae, Red head, wild hair, blue eyes, a rich little brat. Currently bawling her eyes out in the nurses office after having the gul to whisper some shit into Giselle's ear.

"I just don't understand Giselle, what could Fae say to possibly make you so mad?" The principal asks. His hands reach over his desk to grab a notepad and pen.

"It was personal. That's all I'm gonna say." Giselle felt bad, she could tell Dr.Singdo was trying to be helpful. She wasn't try to get suspended again.

"The thing is Giselle is that I can't help you if you don't tell me anything, I know the situation with your parents, but Fae's parents are very upset right now, and even then that doesn't give you the right to put your hands on her no matter how hurtful her words are." Dr.Singdo tried to sympathize with Giselle, she could tell.

"Is there anything I can do to make up for this? That isn't getting suspended or expelled?" Giselle asked pleadingly.

Dr.Singdo hummed and looked up at the ceiling in thought. He sighed, "Well, I guess we could put you on cleaning duty for a month, with detention. You might also have to write an apology letter to Fae for her parents to see. Do you think you can handle that, Giselle?"

Giselle internally screamed, she muttered the word "Fine." Took the punishment note out of Dr.Singdo's hand and left the office with a hard shut to the door.

Darian's POV

_________

As the cafeteria got cleaned up and everyone headed to class as usual. There were constant whispers about the fight in the lunch room later that day. Sitting in class Darian felt bored again. His thoughts drifted back to Giselle... why though? It's not like she did anything special. But his curiosity to know more about Giselle started to weigh on him.

Maybe it was the fact she didn't hesitate to look him in the eye, or that fact she was the only person he hadn't personally met yet. There was something there, something hidden about Giselle, Darian only felt it natural that it was his business to know. He has dirt on everyone except her.

Something to note about Darian, something the other kids didn't know, was his tendancy to draw. But his drawings weren't just doodles he made during class, they were the secrets of everyone there. This girl is cheating on her boyfriend, this guy killed a squirrel on his way to school, this person that, that person this, all there waiting to be exposed. Giselle's page, was blank, but it was started. Her eyes, Her hair, her soft cheekbones and sharp jawline, all there, waiting for an action to happen.

"Whatcha drawing there?" A girl from behind Darian came over to see, only for him to shut the book casually. "Nothing really, I was drawing a diagram for the cells on the board." An obvious but believeable lie. The girl Darian was talking to was a nosy one, Cicilla, the only girl Darian found remotely annoying was her. "You're too serious about your studies Darian, take a break and hang out with your friends every once in a while." Cicilla left it at that and walked off. Darian wasn't completely sure but he was sure what she meant when she said that.

Later that day as Darian walked home he kept thinking about that look on Giselle's eyes. He wanted to see it again, that piercing gaze of rage. He wondered what other expressions Giselle's eyes could make. What would her surprise look like, her fear, her happiness, what kind of person makes that kind of look when they send a punch flying like that?
