Chapter 211: Toying Around

The icicle pierced through Sha Chen's arm, leaving a frozen wound. The Dark Sage whirled around to retaliate, but yet another icicle struck him from another direction, lancing through his back and punching another frozen crater.

"Ugh!"

His eyes wide, Sha Chen glowered at the hovering hail of icicles, as if unable to believe that he was being hurt by such little…insignificant things. His whips lashed out, snaking and writhing in response to his rage, but as long as they were, they were unable to reach the soaring storm of icicles, which remained out of his attack range.

Not only were they out of his reach, they continued to launch in volley after volley of deadly projectiles at the frustrated Sha Chen, scoring several more wounds.

Sha Chen stared at his wounds in disbelief before slowly raising his head to glare at the floating icicles.
