Class Start

"That is it for today, everyone. Good luck on your test tomorrow," I ended the class before heading out.

Since I don't have to prepare for any homework, I was able to have some time off today.

"Busy again, teacher Hise?" a fellow teacher greeted me after seeing my yawn in the hallway.

"Oh! Hi there teacher Elbe," I responded to her.

"Still having a hard time with the new students I see," she smiled. I heard from other teachers that she just graduated last year. Consider that she is teaching at Drought right away, that is impressive.

"Yes. Luckily they are all well mannered," I smiled back.

"That was your last class, right? Are you planning to home now?"

"No, not yet. I have a place to visit since I have some spare time. Good luck on your next class," I finished with a slight nod.

"You too, have a great rest of your day," Elbe also nodded and walked away.

I got in my car and went away to visit my child.

"How are you doing? Sorry I don't visit you more often."

He didn't answer but just smiled while looking at me.

"I won't be able to visit this often anymore. So don't worry if I don't show up. Here, I got you a present." I put a nicely decorated box in front of him.

"It's a pen. You always want to write novels right? I got you the highest quality pen. Now you can write nicely."

"..."

"You know, responding to your father won't cost a cent. Anyway, I will leave now." I said and walked away. "You took care of the grass quite nicely," I complimented the gardener on the way out.

"Thank you, sir. I will make sure his place is always organized," the gardener replied.

"Thank you very much," I got in the car and left. As I was driving, I looked at the clock, "Still have sometimes eh?" So I decided to head to another place instead of going home.

Sitting in the room, I waited for that person, whom I found very fascinating lately. At first, I thought of him as nothing more than a desperate soul almost at the brink of collapsing. So I decided to help him a little without much thought, but how can I know that within a short amount of time of a few months, that kid had grown so much. It was as though each time I visit, he got wiser by years.

"Hey Wisaith," he entered the room with a guard behind him. Again, I felt like he had grown more as a person since the last time we met.

"Hi there Sin," I greeted back.

"Good to see you. You have no idea how urgent I was waiting for you," Sin said.

"Oh?" I raised my eyebrows. "Did you get in trouble?" I asked.

Sin shooked his head, "No. But there is a favor I want to ask."

"And that is?"

"Can you ask the headmaster of the prison to let me open a class?"

I was speechless, even the guard couldn't hide his shocked face looking at Sin. "You want a class in here?"

"Yes."

"You must think carefully Sin. You are a newcomer, and now you want to be the prisoners' teacher. Furthermore, you haven't had any teaching experience before, how can you deal with them hard-heads?" I explained my worries.

"I know what their thoughts are Wisaith. I can teach them," Sin said firmly.

I still didn't believe, "How do you know what they think?"

"I talked with them?" he replied.

"All of them?"

"Yes, I spend every time I could, when cooking, gardening, even resting periods to approach them."

"And they opened up to you? Didn't they use to bully you?" I was quite surprised.

"I managed it somehow."

"I thought beside me, no one can crack through those hard-heads," I thought to myself. "If Sin was able to talk with them, then it wouldn't be unimaginable..." I began to think carefully about helping him or not.

"Getting you a class is not difficult," I could felt the guard's shocked face now on me. "What are you planning to teach?"

Sin smirked, and he replied simply, "Finance."
