I can hear them talking, but I can't make out really what they're saying. All I can tell is, they seem happy. Looking around I notice I'm at the park across from my parents apartment. I'm pretty sure it's called, Treasure park. I grew up in this area but, it's different. I can't pay attention to the person in front of me, who are they?

My surroundings starts to lose color, It feels colder than before. I hear someone calling my name. My focus turns to a dark figure about a half foot shorter than me.

"I think we should take a break" her voice was so cold and stern. She turns and starts to walk away. I try to call out to her but can't utter a word. She's almost out of sight before I manage to scream out into the monotone world before me,

'Wait! Please don't!'

"Leave me!" I sit up in a panic. Beads of sweat roll down my back and forehead as I look around my room. I reassure myself by repeating, "Just a dream, It was just a dream." A few minutes later my little brother Yen walks in with his little white ragged bear.

"Bubba? Bad dream?" He comes in and climbs his little 2'6" self into my bed. I hold him and nod, not noticing I soaked the bed as well.

"Yeah buddy," I replied. He wipes my tears from my cheeks and pries my arms off of him to sit in front of me. He places his small ragged bear named Krackle (pronounced crackle) in my lap. For only being three he sure can comfort anybody he thinks needs it.

"The same one bubba?" His brown curly hair makes his eyes even more extravagant and bright ocean colored.

I tuck a strand of his curly hair behind his ear. "The same one lil buddy."

I watch as he makes an "angry face". He looks more constipated but it pops out his pure innocence. He slams his fist into his hand, like he's trying to intimidate a threatening bully, "Don't worry bubba. I'll beat up fate for making you sad!" I can't help but laugh and pull his feisty little attitude into a hug. After a minute of protesting against my hug he melts into the affection.

A grey French bulldog jumps onto my bed and barks a million miles a second. " Okay Jaxie! We will get you food!" I exclaim at the screaming creature. I place Yen on the hardwood floor, he then chases Jaxie out the door. I glance at myself in the mirror, noticing how tired I really look. My long brown curls drop over my lightly freckled face, dark green eyes piercing through my hair. My minds immediate reaction, 'Ew'.

I'm shoved away from my thoughts due to the alarming sound of shattering glass. Yen yells from downstairs, "Bubba!" I sigh in defeat of already having a wild morning. "Jaxie hit the living room vase!" I look into the mirror once more, slip on the closest clean shirt and head out to the living room.
