Chapter 3

The early morning air was more refreshing than the stuffy room. The cool air did wonders for my hot skin. We walk in silence, side by side and watch the sky becoming brighter by the minute. It was almost sunrise.

"Your highness." Someone called in hush tones.

I turn to face a ginger hair man with a slight stubble the colour of his hair.

"What is it Sean?" Theodore asks sounding annoyed.

"You aren't supposed to leave the room until tomorrow." His eyes lands on me and analyses my features. "She's marked but doesn't look as if she has been touched."

"Are you doctor Sean. Is there a way to know if we completed the mate bond or not. I'm sure you aren't my dick to know if the bond was completed."

I hit Theodore in his chest earning a glare from him.

"Don't be rude." I tell him.

"Tell the council it is done and prepare for the wedding."

Wedding?

"I didn't say I wanted to marry you."

Sean eyes widen and he slowly backs away, taking Theodore's pitch black eyes as a sign to leave.

"I'm the King. If I want you to marry me right this second you have no choice in the matter." He points out.

"And I'm your mate, if I refuse something you will have to accept my wishes as to avoid conflicts with your wolf."

"I'm sure my wolf will not object to our wedding."

"I just met you."

"Right, but a few hours ago you wanted me to have you on my throne in front of a whole audience."

"I would not have allowed that." I lied

"You would have allowed anything I wanted because." He closes the space between us and my body is pressed against his. "You need me to stop that fiery sensation between those legs." He finishes with and I felt my knees go weak.

"Don't get ahead of yourself."

He gives me a devilish smile causing me to back away.

Images of him reaching out and grabbing me flashes across my mind. He gently uses his other hand to tenderly caress my cheek.

"What are you two doing out here?!" A man dressed in black suit yells, gazing at Theodore with furiousity.

I came back to my senses and Theodore looks stunned. I acted quickly by grabbing his hands and pulling him behind a nearby oak tree. A minute later the man from my vision steps on to the lawn. Theodore pulls me close to him to allow the tree to cover us.

"He's gone."

"How can you be sure?"

"I can hear his footsteps."

He releases his hold on me and immediately brushed out the invisible wrinkles on my top.

"Can you control your visions?" He asks sounding genuinely interested.

"No, they come go."

"Mhm, you will learn to control them over time. Hybrid wolves are strong with their gifts." He say smiling warmly.

"Do you ever felt different from other wolves?"

"Being royalty is a difference on its own and feeling others emotions even sometimes reading their thoughts can be truly overwhelming."

My eyes flutter to his lips for the hundredth time since I met him. We still haven't had our first kiss.

"I could change that." He smirks and I mentally face palmed myself.

"Stay out of my head."

"I can only hear your thoughts if you leave your mind open."

"So how do I close my mind."

"As if I would ever teach you how."

He laughs and I glare at him
