Alexandra let's get married Benjamin said almost as soon as they got to the room

Have some patience, we have many days ahead of us, I don't want us to jump into marriage that's a huge step. Alexandra said

I have a feeling your Family doesn't like me so before they start saying nasty things let's get married so that they will have no option but to accept me

Let's take things slowly, you are meeting them for the first time, you just don't warm up to people immediately, this things take time Alexandra said

I'm desperate to make you my wife, I'd want us to get married Benjamin said sounding desperate

Benjamin had meet her family before and on so many occasions however she wasn't with him when they meet and he had said so many shitty things and had even went to the extent of name calling. He had even once bragged about his girlfriend to them and how he was going to get married to her and rob everything she and her family has and dump her, he had called it been Smart.

Right now all he needed was for this girl to agree to be his wife and he'll get everything ready but she wasn't even bugging.

How about this, let's prove to them how much we really love each and I'm sure they'll understand, okay? Alexandra said

Sure, if you say so. I need to get going it's getting late

Yeah sure I'll see you off

I want you to know how much I Love You Benjamin said while placing a kiss on her forehead

Back at the dinner table

After the drama had ended, everyone took part in cleaning up the table as well as the dishes, honestly it seemed like the usual routine but we were all waiting to see the guy leave after all, he had said so many shitty things and we didn't want Alexandra to feel bad that was why we didn't beat up his ass when he walked in.

When they came down, Alexandra asked for permission to see him out, however he didn't even spare us a second glance. While he was walking out he winked at us with a wicked smile on his face and walked out.

Alexandra came in a few minutes later and she seemed upset,

What was that about? she asked

Sorry? Miss Mary-Ann asked

I can't believe any of you would do that I brought my boyfriend home for the first time, couldn't you guys be nicer?

Well, you are as wrong as the rest of us, firstly we weren't aware that we were having guest, secondly when were you planning to let me know? Miss Mary-Ann answered

Am sorry, I could have told you guys earlier and we've been together for about three years .

Three years and none of us were aware, are you expecting me to hug him and give him a grand welcome. We weren't nice, isn't he the guy that beat up your brother in highschool and he had to stay in the hospital for 3 days. Miss Mary-Ann said sarcastically

He's changed and I love him and we are already engaged, please just be nice to him.

Sure, but your brother's bones are still not in perfect condition so No Alexandra, don't tell me to be nice he did even bother to apologize instead he acted as though it never happened.

Everyone else seemed to be on Miss Mary-Ann's side making Alexandra get the message that they weren't exactly happy with her boyfriend but she was determined to make them understand and love him the way she did.
