David twisted on the bed and groaned. He blinked multiple times before looking up at the celling.

He could feel his cuts. They were treated and stitched but he could still feel the pain.

He slowly sat up, and sigh. All he could do was try not to think of the incident. But that was impossible for him.

He could swear she was not far. Maybe sometimes he thinks he hears her voice in his head.

Though it was not long since he got back from hell. He remembered his Mum and Dad driving him to the hospital then riding back home as for Jacob he was more than sure he was somewhere safe with his parents.

David walked to the mirror looking at the bruises on his face, all purple. He reached up to touch them and winced.

The door opened behind him and he jumped. He looked at the intruder and relaxed.

"How was your night David?" Elie asked.

David looked down at his bandaged wrist and shrugged.
