1 "When It All Began I"
Scarlet Emeraldess Vy Rondaline Terra hailed from royal blood, born in the Earth Empire and residing in its capital city, Taurus. She held the title of the second princess within the Terra family.
At the tender age of twelve, she was a naive and innocent child, unaware of the turmoil outside her home.
They led a peaceful and joyful life, until one fateful day...
Her happiness crumbled to dust.
All of it shattered due to the actions of a man consumed by power, her own brother.

That night, Scarlet was abruptly awakened by a piercing scream.
She rose from her bed, fear and worry coursing through her. Quietly, she made her way towards the source of the scream.
The agonizing cry emanated from the master's bedroom, where her parents slept. She cautiously approached their room and stole a glance inside, the smell of blood assaulting her senses as she beheld her parents lying lifeless on the bed.
Without a second thought, she burst into the room, her knees trembling.
"Mother... Father...?" Scarlet quivered in terror, her legs growing weak.
Her parents were dead, their lifeless forms marked by expressions of agony.
"Hee~ Scarlet? HAHAHA, it's you, right?"
She looked up to see her own brother, Prince Jacob, holding a blue knife with his left hand that appeared to be made of ice while gripping a revolver in his right. He was covered in blood and wore a psychotic smile.
"B-brother?" Scarlet questioned with a quivering voice as he gazed up at his brother.
His eyes were shining, and Scarlet noticed a unique zodiac symbol on both of his eyes: Libra.
He had awakened his powers, uprise awakened to be exact.
As fear crept in, she noticed her sister, the first Princess Shearl, bleeding and covered in bullet wounds behind him.
She wasn't sure if Princess Shearl was dead or alive from where she was standing, but she realized it was her sister's screams of pain that had awakened her from slumber.
As Scarlet struggled to comprehend the situation, Prince Jacob slowly advanced toward her, wearing a sinister smile and readying his revolver.
"Don't worry, my dear little sister, this will end quickly with no suffering~." He smiled and laughed like a maniac.
Scarlet knew, he was going to kill her next.
Without hesitation, she screamed and ran as fast as she could toward where the maids were sleeping.
"Tsk," Prince Jacob clicked his tongue, watching as Scarlet fled to the maids' chamber. Unable to chase her further, he left.
As Scarlet ran toward the maids, she screamed in terror, and the maids were awakened by her cries.
"Help!! Father a-and mother s-sister they..." She shouted as she grabbed the head maids blanket trying to awaken her from her sleep. Trembling, she pointed toward the King and Queen's sleeping quarters.
The maids jumped out of their beds and looked in the direction she had indicated.
"Call the guards, hurry!" Shouted the head maid.
As they hurried, she led them to the location. The maids were in shock and rushed to her parents and sisters' sides to check if they were still alive.
Sadly, all she could do was stand there and hope they were still breathing. However, the maids signaled that they were dead.
A few seconds later, the guards arrived and conducted another examination, yet they were unable to do anything.
Calling for a doctor would be futile knowing that their bodies are already cold and blood gushing out of the places where they were stabbed and shot at.
"This can't be..." Scarlet mumbled to herself.
Her mind went blank upon hearing the news, the glimmer in her eyes gone, realizing that she was powerless in this situation.
After about a minute, while the maids and knights were busy tending to the cold lifeless body of her loved ones. She heard footsteps approaching, and without even looking, she knew it was her brother.
Scarlet confirmed her suspicion by turning to look behind her, and she was right—it was him.
"W-what's going on? Mom, dad!! Sis!!" Shouted Prince Jacob, appearing somewhat frantic as he abruptly walked towards their dead parents while tears trickled down his face.
