Regaining Consciousness

The first thing i felt waking up was a headache and can't remember what happened. I slowly get up from by bed and sit down for a moment. My body is chest is covered with Bandages, along with my right hand, where did i even get this injuries. I heard someone opening the door, it was my personal Butler Frewin.

"Young Master, Finally you have awakened"

I look at him for a moment, I can't remember what happened to me.

"What happened to me?"

He look at me with a releaved look at his face knowing that I'm fine.

"Young Master, You were attack by rebels on your way to the academy, you were injured very badly, you were asleep for almost 3 days, everyone here was worried about you"

I groaned softly and started to remember what happened to me 3 days ago, My Father, The king of Findara prepared a Carriege to take me to the Magic Academy where all kids age 12 above are trained to use their magic for the future. We just passed the Findara boarders when the Rebels launched their attack I hear footsteps coming close to my room, there here? i saw both my Mother Cynthia and Father Zander, along with my older siblings Derwin, Aidan, Dylan coming in. My Mother cried with tears of joy, she must be very happy I'm ok.

"My son!, your awake! I'm so glad your ok"

Mother hug me tightly, i looked around and saw my older siblings along with my Father happily smiling at me, did they returned home because of me?, i kinda feel it was my fault, they missed their lessons because of me. My Mother stopped hugging me and smiled sweetly.

"I'm sorry to make all of you worry about me"

I grab a pillow andcovered my face feeling bad about worrying them too much.

"It's ok little bro, it's ok"

Derwin then hug me tightly, I could feel him feeling happy knowing I'm ok.

"Where sorry we were not with you when that happened, we could have protected you"

Aidan and Dylan then look sad that they weren't there to protect me, both of them were always were very over protective to me ever since i was a toddler.

"it's ok, we didn't expect any of it to happen, but I'm glad you guys are here, I missed you guys so much"

Then both Aiden and Dylan hugged me too. Then i looked at my Father, Father was standing next to my Mother,

"I'm glad your ok son, I should have doubled the guards escorting you to the academy, this is my fault" Father said

Father blames himself because of what happened to me. But i know he's filled with happiness knowing I'm ok. A lot of My Father's enemies are after me, it's because i have inherited his light magic, but Father said my light magic is special, I still don't understand why, but all i know is that my magic is what my Father's enemies wants

"let's give finn a little more time to rest, he's not fully healed yet" Mother said

all of them nodded their head and leaves the room leaving me alone to rest for a bit more.

I wish i know more about my magic, if i did i can protect myself and my family from danger, so i must get stronger. I lay down back to my bed and rested
