31 CH 31: Trask Industries

A young man was standing atop a roof and looking at the mess that was beneath him. A large number of heavily armed men lay on the floor and in many different positions as if killed but not a single drop of blood could be seen. The signs that there was an actual battle was shown not by the state of the soldiers or armed men but of the area around them.

Fires were burning and several of the buildings had been either fully or at least partially destroyed. Bullets holes and explosive craters were all around. There were even a few sentinels that had been broken and left around the area.

The young man seemed indifferent to the destruction and chaos he had caused. He had been able to take them all down effortlessly with his increased abilities from the past two years of effort.

Ruler was currently infiltrating a base of Trask Industries to take down and destroy a new project that Trask was working on. It was a Sentinel that could build and create Sentinels all on its own as long as it had the materials non-organic material nearby that it could convert into parts.

Ruler was currently waiting on his reinforcements to arrive. Although he could tear the entire place down, he was not confident with super-science tech stuff. So because he was more of a breaker than a techie, he was sent in to weaken the defenses before reinforcements from the Warclan, Shockwave Riders, X-Men, and Brotherhood.

Ruler had changed by a large amount over the past 2 years to the point where he would not even recognize the him of 2 priors. He might even look at that old him in disdain.

Ruler's magical abilities had increased by leaps and bounds. He could use [High-Speed Silent Casting] to quickly use his spells without alerting his opponents. His instinct skill had also increased from about E- rank to C+ over the years. While this increase did increase his dodging abilities, it mainly increased his natural ability to reach his target. Be that dodging, escaping, attacking, or even reaching his goal.

Ruler had even learned the basics of one of the true magic. He had learned the basics of the 5th magic. Although it currently had no practical use as it could only be used in a .000001 millimeter cube but Ruler could manipulate time within that tine cube up to five seconds. While it was small and useless as of now, it's future potential meant that he could manipulate time on a universal or global scale.

His [Prana Shot] had not only gotten a large increase and control in destructive ability, accuracy, and numbers. Before, he could only shoot a single bullet at a time and his aim was far off. Now, he could fire 20 shots at once with each being 100% accurate within 150 meters for still targets.

[Reinforcement] now had two forms. The passive form that that increase Ruler's physical abilities by 5 times and which was also unnoticeable and did not drain Ruler. It could even be said to be Ruler's true physical abilities now. The active reinforcement showed the magic circuits along Ruler's body and also increased his physical abilities to 20x his base abilities.

Two more of his Servants had also ascended as Ruler had called it. Both Rider and Assassin changed and ascended into more powerful and unique forms than they were when Ruler first gained his powers.

When Ruler explained and showed the much wider world and universe. He even showed the great conqueror some aliens when they visited the planet. When Iskandar saw that the universe and world was so much larger than he believed, he ascended without Ruler even doing anything. When Ruler asked about it afterward, the reply he got was simply,

"Hahaha. I always thought my younger self was too foolish. An idealist with dreams that were far too foolish and proud. But it seems that I have also become even more foolish with my age and experiences as well. Even after living in the throne of heroes and this mystical world, I still thought the world was so small. With such a large universe to conquer, how could I possibly remain the same?"

Iskandar's ascended form seemed as if he was younger than his original form. The original Rider that Ruler summoned was a man who had the face of someone in his 30s but with the body of someone in their 20s. But after he ascended, he looked as if he was in his 20s. He had also gained several new abilities. His combat abilities had soared to new heights.

As for Assassin, he became... weird. After Ruler had been under the effects of Dangerous Game for over a year without any negative side effects, Assassin felt that he had accomplished his goal of truly being able to combine alchemy and chemistry to make the perfect potion.

The new Assassin was... well weird. It is difficult to explain. Both of the personalities split into two separate entities like Saber. Except that the created pair were both the same and yet different.

Dr. Jekyll remained the same as before but when he activated his noble phantasm, [Dangerous Game], he did not turn into Mr. Hyde but instead became a more powerful version of himself without actually becoming darker. Ruler usually had him stay in this form constantly since there was no burden and it did not make sense to have a weaker version of him.

Mr. Hyde, on the other hand, was a different matter. He was a Berserker Servant who retained his sanity but wished for nothing more than his independence from Ruler just like he wished for it from Dr. Jekyll. He also had claws and fangs like a beast. Which brings up his version of [Dangerous Game].

Mr. Hyde would truly transform into the darkness inside of him that turned out to be a Lycan. Mr. Hyde would get so powerful in his Lycan form that he could take on Lancer, Dr. Jekyll, and Rider by himself even if they did use their noble phantasms. He also became a true Berserker who lost all reason and could only be controlled and given orders if two command seals were used on him.

A group of 20 appeared from outside the gates with a certain red-head holding her head as if she had a headache. These were the backup that Ruler had been waiting for to lead an attack on Master Mold.

'Stay out my head, Marvel Girl. No one is allowed in there.'

Ruler jumped down from the roof and stood in front of the group. He gave a slight bow to the two clan heads before walking behind Domina. He did not even greet the leaders of the X-Men or Brotherhood forces.

"Everyone knows our objective. Let's move swiftly so that we can get this over with."
