The final battle

My wolf is on alert. I already know what is happening. This is another ambush and like the last time, the same thing is happening again but unlike the last time, I am awake and will destroy everything if I have to. I will kill them all with no remorse.
"Stay inside,'' I tell Colin.
He shakes his head immediately "You're not going to ask me to do that, I am doing this with you,'' he says with so much determination is impossible to miss.
I let out a sigh because I know he is right. I need him there, I just want to protect him from everything.
Once we get outside, I see the crowd of people, I hear the howling. I see that the members of the pack are gathering outside the compound. They all turn to me, not everyone knows I am back but I see the fear in their eyes. They are already blaming me for this.
I came back and now people are here to hurt us.
