The Wrathful Lily

[Wake… flower maiden, for your life is not over, and has only begun] [Wake… and see the world around you and set foot in life… for better… or for worse] *The story does have long chapters and descriptions. It's a long journey and love project but if you can stand long chapters, I hope you can wait for more!* *Just a note, deep romantic developments will happen much later in the future chapters of which I admittedly haven't planned too much. But I hope you will get some fluffy moments from my chapters in the meantime!*

First Arrival (Part 1)

Hello everyone!! I am back! Sorry for the holdup but finally done with my Summer courses wooo!! Important announcement! I'll be trying to find a new platform for releasing chapters so it's taking a bit. I'm thinking Scribble Hub so far so ye! I'll still be posting here, but I've found some serious flaws and deception in Webnovel that made me not trust them as a reliable creator platform!

So with that in mind, I think I might plan to revise some of my chapters and think about how to plan ahead as new semester of university approaches.

To any authors out there, comment if you wish to know what exactly that I have issues with at Webnovel... I believe it's good to know should you feel the interest.

This chapter Part 1 and Part 2 is also a bit experimental, so let loose your thoughts and criticisms!

*3rd person POV*

Shelves after shelves of unreachable end, books of a count uncountable… a hand touches the outer edge of one shelf. A library was what ordered the collection of all omniverses, formed from their image. The figure reaches inwards into one shelf… pulling a book from its incomprehensible size.

Opening this particular omniverse, they peer into its multiverses… each word, one multiverse… and immeasurable words altogether. The figure concentrates, trying to read all of it at once… but insanity brinks on the edge and they back out. They can't even read one book… and they have the duty to protect this whole library.

"-Unknown-"

A series of untranslatable, primordial language passes by. The figure puts the book back and tightens their fist.

"Urathor, change your verbal concept… I cannot bear to hear your incessant primordial tongue."

Urathor, the 7th Primordial, makes its unfathomable presence known at the entrance to the library. Suddenly, a mortal language was heard emanating from its all-encompassing form.

"Youngest Primordial, why do you stoop down to such an insignificant, pathetic language? Such a primitive language cannot even scratch the understanding of the smallest, meaningless cosmos. You are even taking such a lowly physical form."

Asura turns to Urathor with growing impatience.

"I think it is unique that such an 'insignificant' language as you call, can carry so much meaning for those below us. I find it… touching. And this vessel of mine is of my own choosing, I do not care of your thoughts."

A rupturing chorus echoes through the library in some unknown form of laughter.

"You are too attached to the lowly beings of your library… if you were not blinded by this pitiful concept of... mortality, maybe you would have the omniscience and omnipresence to protect your library."

Asura suddenly appears in front Urathor, as wrath and violence boil… The entirety of the library trembles as the Primordial realm shakes. The other Primordials take notice.

"This mortality you insult is what makes me who I am. I was created upon that very construct, you will do well not to insult me and all those who belong to it."

The Primordial realm shakes more as Urathor makes its presence more known in retaliation.

"And look at where it got you. Father struck you down due to your 'mortality,' Mother spared you and yet you rose again in defiance. I even question Father and Mother's intent in your creation… you were a mistake."

The tension near breaking point as will meets will, as Asura's wrath fills the realm when a shelf nearby topples. Broken out of his rage Asura teleports over to save it when Urathor arrives too, stabilizing the shelf.

"Careful, fragile they are. All you have is power, how will that save the ones you sought to protect? Even some of the beings far below us have some form of omnipresence and all-encompassing will."

Asura remains silent, for they had always known.

"You may be able to hold off our other Primordials… but you will fail eventually, that mortality of yours will be your own undoing."

Steadfast, even still… those words weigh heavily upon Asura's mind.

"Enough Urathor, what's your purpose here?"

"Zalthul Sathum, is on the move again, the consuming blind fool will stop at nothing and endanger us all. I am only here to give you the warning."

With that Urathor, vanishes back to its sanctum molded by its own concepts, concepts incomprehensible and different from those that constitute Asura's own library.

Sathum, the damn first Primordial, unspeakable in age and yet still a fool. The wrathful fire around Asura dies down… silent, it moves back to one of the shelves, and takes out a book again. As the worlds behold themselves Asura, it can only see chaos… beings of cosmic powers and Gods waging wars, tearing apart dimensions… but there were still many who had peace. For how long however, is another question.

Gazing into the rest of the library, it moves through it's imperceptible space… each step Asura takes, limitless innocent lives are taken within his own sanctum. Its fist tightens as rage and wrath build once more… Asura can't even protect them all, now what? The opposed Primordials are constantly at the doorstep, craving the day Asura falls.

These thoughts are ever-present, and Asura tries once again… to split their being into all omniverses so that they could protect and help. But as shards of their being begin to splinter, Asura's mind begins to lose itself. Asura pushes through, wrath enveloping again as they rage against their own failures… and when the shards were to finally take form… Asura feels its mind begin to shatter… enraged, it tries to push on but… stops.

Crumbling down to one knee, they stare at its hand. It… was too much, too much of a risk. Should Asura lose its mind, their mortality, it'll become no different from the other Primordials, and become an ending threat to its own library. But they still couldn't stop feeling the pain of rage and failure… and the Primordials feel it too, Urathor acknowledging Asura's… attempt.

Hopeless, Asura stands tall again, the weight of failure heavy on its shoulders. It moves outside to its library, into the world of concepts, and stares far beyond this Primordial dimension. Mother and Father's battle against one another continues endlessly. However, Asura can feel it, in its beating inferno core, they're going to stop at one point.

And when that time comes, all primordials must join in forces together against their own creators, their father, and their mother. And they know this too, for there is no escape from their sight, they are The Creators.

Confronting this very absolute fact, Asura retreats back into its library. It reaches out, grasping onto the dimension itself as it tears open a portal, and enters. A fragment taken from the Primordial's realm, the Akasha dimension served as a dimension in which Asura created for battles… in hopes of mitigating damage to universes and their dimensions. But now, it served as an escape.

Asura looks around upon the planet, Eden, it was once called. Drifting through the exotic flowers, plants, and graceful, leaning trees bearing crystalline, soft fruits that hung like chandeliers.

They pick up a watering jug, and walk about, watering the garden. Asura remains grim, as beyond this small, safe haven of flowers and plants, was the withered, the dead, the decayed remains of the rest of the planet. Once so vibrant and lustrous, Asura's times away had left much untended.

In reminiscence, Asura recalls the time, two other gods lived here... back when it was more peaceful. Asura's first people... it set ablaze a fondness in itself it never knew.

In silence, Asura grieves for the flowers and plants. Perhaps it was time to call upon a nature god it may know to help… but it would be too dangerous, they didn't want to risk the god's life in bringing them to the possible notice of other Primordials.

It reminisces to a point before, there were two other gods here living on this little world. They brought an appreciation of life to Asura itself never knew. Was it so wrong to give them their own will? Of course, it wasn't, but Asura paid dearly for it.

Taking a seat under a tree of blossoming cherries, Asura rests against the old tree. The cherry blossom sways gently as if welcoming the Primordial… remembering all the times Asura has sat under itself.

A simple, wooden carved guitar appears in the hands of Asura as it lays back. Raising their hand, Asura wonders when was the last time it played. Tinged with energy, their hand brushes the guitar with a series of electrified, yet harmonious melodies.

Trails of humming echoes can be heard, as Asura plays… grazing the flowers, winding arcing trees, and grass. Asura's voice becomes unhallowed, its edges dulling as it plays as they softly sing. The strings on the guitar become imbued with energy, sending echoing, vibratos as they slide down the chords.

The melody eases Asura's mind, as each note carries the thoughts that burden just a bit further away. Playing away their horrid thoughts, music always had a way of calming itself down. It felt safe, just a little safer, feeling the smooth wood… and each string they plucked vibrated confidently.

Rings of beating energy bounced up and down following Asura's rhythm, adding a layer of ambiance and beats along in their little ensemble. But something still gnaws at Asura's mind, and as their hand reaches to pluck a string, each note like time passing by… just… as the countless lives lost each instance.

The note twangs in a shrieking echo, full of anger as Asura sits up. The thoughts come back with searing vengeance as primordial rage fills Asura's heart. It shouldn't be trying to rest… fighting, it needs to keep fighting. Looking around at the garden, Asura sighs before taking one last look at his favorite flowers, lilies… every so bright and luminescent in this dark, dark void.

"I will end this, all of this… one day."

---------------------------------------

Asura crashes through a universe, shattering the dimension as it crash lands onto a warped, broken planet. It was weak, as Primordial blood leaked from its wounds… it's raw, unbridled essence, threatening to erase an entire portion of the library.

Steadfast, unflinching, Asura faces the horde of twisted gods, Zalthul Sathum's apostles. Damn Zalthul Sathum, the primordial came to head with Asura… the twisted being attempted to take Asura's library, but Asura was there to fend Sathum off. However, their battle nearly destroyed a portion of the primordial realm, having received heavy damage, Sathum hid… its wounds grave, it won't be an issue anymore.

However… Asura, while not as gravely injured, was too weak… exhausted from their battle. The other Primordials had watched in stalemate, not daring to engage to not set off total war amongst all Primordials.

"That blind idiot, how the hell did some Primordials side with Sathum?!"

A fissure ripples outward next to Asura, as a massive cosmic dragon comes into being, planetary spheres orbiting its celestial body that embodied the living will of universes in its every shifting star and space.

"Great Asura, we have come to your aid, please escape, all other allied gods across the library will try to hold them off… "

Asura holds it's bleeding physical form.

"Leviathan… no, Zalthul Sathum sent too many this time, too many will die."

The Leviathan shields Asura as it opens its massive tendrils of celestial wings.

"To disobey your order would mean you survive, you are the library's hope… we cannot abandon you."

A spear of morphing energy pieces the horde of apostles, striking down a few… a shapeless dimensional energy is felt next to Asura.

"We are here, the others are fending off the invading parasites."

Hundreds of gods and beings begin to manifest alongside Leviathan.

"I have called those who can be here, to help, please escape, Great Asura."

Opening it's maw, interconnected jaws breathe entrails of ethereal energy as a massive nova forms.

"Defend Great Asura!! Do not let the wretched malformed beasts reach them!"

The twisted Apostle beings screech in space contorting screams as The Leviathan fires its attacks, the nova shattering dimensions as it pierces the universe through. Together hundreds of gods and the Apostles clash, ripping apart entire multiverses and universes in an instant… there was no way to mitigate the damage.

"Damn it!!"

Not only here, Asura can feel the library under invasion… the scale has never been this large, Zalthul Sathum's damn all-consuming will has no end, not to mention its equally blind fool son, Azathoth.

And Asura can tell too, that the gods protecting it were fading, some dying, others consumed as part of the Apostles. At this point, the invasions will reach mortals and countless planets of life…

"You may be able to hold off our other Primordials… but you will fail eventually..."

Urathor's words, rings loud with torment in Asura's mind as the sinking feeling of countless innocent lives lost fills its future.

The library shakes once more in pure unrelenting rage, even weakened and near powerless, Asura doesn't care if it is destroying its own being… as fiery Saffron leaks from the wounds, tearing itself free from Asura's body, even Sathum shrinked in hiding more, feeling the rage.

A thousand titanic echoes of wrathful voices fill the infinite library and Primordial realm as Asura roars, itself bleeding more and more. It draws the attention of all mindless Apostles. The Leviathan collapses inward an apostle with space ripping force before turning back to Asura… who refused to escape.

"Great Asura!! You will endanger your own being!! Escape!!"

Blind in rage, Asura thrusts forward its hand, forcing all twisted beings to take a physical form with pure force… spreading its arms, encapsulating the entire library, Asura tears open a massive portal with its remaining power and pulls all twisted beings into the Akasha dimension… along with itself… The last thing The Leviathan sees is the searing molten cores through Asura's mask. The Leviathan tries to enter the Akasha dimension, only to find out it was locked out.

"Great Asura... no."

Weak, its own being starting to deteriorate, Asura staggers, its eyes unmoving, flames of wrath emitting as its body erupts in rage-filled flames as Primordial blood spills. The hordes of Apostles being, consumes the void and blots out the stars, subservients of the all-consuming…

They seek Asura, but before their hallowed visions set upon them, a meteoric beam of furious fire melts through the horde, crashing into a planet whose size could dwarf multiverses.

An ever rageful roar is heard as Asura explodes out of the molten planet, slamming into an apostle…

*KRAKOOM!!!*

The twisted being's head grinds against the surface of another planet as Asura drags the being asunder, tearing it apart. The land cracks and fissures as a massive storm of fire and dust scars the planet… the core melts, the land masses shake, and chunks of land shake as Asura raises the apostle and brings it down upon the ground, splitting the planet.

The horde launches itself at Asura, clashing in the Akasha dimension, sending a force destroying planets all around.

The horde surrounds Asura as they begin to shred it, feeling blood erupt out of their mouth, a massive blast of Primordial fire erupts from Asura's mask, blood fire energy incinerating all those in the path.

Even so contorted, the horde had intelligence and split, forming more powerful individual beings that tackled Asura's side as they got split…

Primordial blood spews from Asura's mouth, splattering the mask, as the beings dig their misshapen blade formed from their body…

"Raaagghhhh!!!"

Asura leans back and headbutts one of them, the explosive force shatters the ground they stand on and as the apostle is sent soaring… Asura launches upwards, its flaming hand grabbing onto the twisted being and slamming it down, boring a massive crater into the core, melting the damn harrowed foe into destruction.

Others charge back into Asura in a cascade of blackened spears that impales Asura through its back as many are stuck on. A shower of misty, boiling Primordial blood covers Asura's body as flesh tears from tendon and tendon from bone… it's molten core eyes widens in rage as it thrusts its arm outwards in a massive fire storm, knocking the apostles back.

The ethereal Primordial blood hisses and trails down Asura's arms as it's visions blurs… blurs? Raising its hand, the Saffron red flames dissipate little by little from the blood, leaving only crimson warm liquid.

"...That mortality of yours will be your own undoing."

Urathor's words sound again, this time clear as Asura's burning anger… its body was becoming more mortal, they have expended its own being too much… starting to revert back to a mortal form. Asura rips a black spear from its back through its front, the sound of mutilation and flesh tearing… blood and primordial flesh hangs from the tip of the jagged spear.

"What child's play, you think you can hurt me with such minuscule pain?"

A shadow overcomes Asura as it looks up, claws, and digs into the planet as an apostle slams the massive planet onto Asura. The collision ripple through the void of voids…

On the other end, the apostle feels the crack underneath it as in a sudden explosion, the planet was torn in two as a hand reaches out and grabs onto its head, emerging from the planet, Asura's stand unrelenting, its other arm was now torn, leaving only sinew and bone.

In pure chaos, the apostle sends tendril after tendril impaling Asura body… tearing its body as it cuts through flesh, exposing Asura's ribs and organs tear itself free, blood gushing, spilling like waterfall… but its grip on the apostle never loses strength… and Asura stares, it's molten eyes ever burning. In a torrential fire, Asura burns the apostle to non-existence… their mask cracks

A black sheen comes into view, a scythe swings at Asura but they bite down onto the blade, but the severing force cuts its way through.

A sudden sensation of something giving free fills Asura's face as shredding energy tears through Asura's jaw, severing it. Its upper jaw grinding against black metal, Asura violently twists its head at its assailant, the last apostle. Screeching, jagged metal grinds against blackened steel.

"We will consume all, Asura… serve our great master until nothing is left… your library will be ours."

Grabbing onto the scythe that ripped off its jaw, Asura crushes the pole before Asura ignites it with its own will… flames burst, lighting up the scythe and engulfing the apostle before molten chain bursts through the apostle's back.

The twisted being feels the shattering force as Asura swings it in a massive arc, cutting through the void as the apostle slams into planet after planet as the dark Aksasha realm fills with the light of extinguished supernovas as debris and moons, planets severed from their courses into oblivion.

Crushed in a world-ending crater, the twisted only sees a consuming fiery beam in its being as one part of this galaxy within the Akasha realm becomes reduced to nothing.

Blood pours everywhere from Asura's torn limbs, suddenly it loses strength as its leg crumples, the bone jutting out, lacerating flesh with a sickening crunch. Blood red fills it's vision as its eyes become blind. It was dying…

Struggling to get up, more bones start to creak and crack as the stress was too much… but move Asura will. It was running on fumes now, and they knew it. The ripped jaw… rendered Asura's voice a mess of echoes. Digging its hand into the void… it feels its muscles start to tear and bleed as it opens one last portal.

It limps to the portal, the unspeakable pain threatens to kill Asura, but it refuses to die. About to set the coordinates, Asura feels something as they look down seeing more barbed tendrils speared through its body as they are tackled through the portal.
