Dead Man Calling

Victory

The party was more like a dinner with friends. Well, most of the people present, were either Angelo's friends and colleagues. So it was more of a private dinner for me.

My hand is healing at a very tremendous speed and I am happy. I feel I have overstayed my welcome and it's about time I should be heading back home. The nightmares have stopped as well, which makes me feel much stronger.

This morning, Angelo came to my room to inform me that he will be gone for a few days. It is a meeting with the board of directors of his company. He apologized for notifying me late, but I do not have any misgivings. It is not an obligation to inform me of his every move. If anything, I am the one who owes him much more than I will ever be able to repay.
