[Version 1 - Chapter 2]

< 3 MONTHS LATER >

[Municiberg Stadium, Municiberg]

The sound of thunder struck the race course as the racers leapt into action, speeding towards their destination as if their lives depended it. Blood, sweat, tears, and time was put into this one performance, in hopes of glorious success, and yet, while six of the seven racers looked either determined, focused, or straight up confused, one blonde haired 9-year-old by the name of Dashiel Robert Parr, or Dash to most, began at a moderate pace, acting confident, as if he had already won.

Seeing him lagging behind the others going at a leisurely pace, his family arose from their seats in the third from the front row, and began their coaching.

"Go! Go go go go! Run!"

"Run Dash, run!"

"Pick up the pace!"

Still looking at them, with that cocky grin ever present, he sped up straight past first place getting a few metres ahead, before his family grew anxious.

"Aaaarrrhh"

"Pull back! Pull back!"

"Pace it. Slow down just a little bit."

The poor boy grew confused and slowed back down to last place, still questioning what they were telling him, looking between the people that had overtook him, and his family. His parents didn't like this positioning in the least either.

"Don't give up! Make it close!"

"Second! Go for second!"

Understanding finally came to his mind, and a smirk to his face, Dash sped up once again, arriving at second place in the nick of time.

*CROWD CHEERING*

The crowd went mad with excitement, cheering on all the exhausted participants, with a couple even laying on the floor. But not our boy, he finished off jogging backwards giving a thumbs up to his family waving in the crowd, even the babies were screaming in what should be fun.

"That's my boy!"

The seats occupied to the family's sides could only stare in slight confusion at the events that unfolded, but no further thoughts were given. Who would care for children not of their own or friends' blood when in sports?

"Dash, I'm so proud of you," Helen praised, proud of her son managing self-control and not showing off like the proud little man he was.

"I didn't know what the heck you wanted me to do." He was honestly confused during that whole experience, but managed to earn himself a trophy for his efforts, and a piggyback from his incredibly large father – standing at 200cm (6'7") with a broad upper body, well-shaped legs, blue eyes, fair skin and short blonde hair.

Two babies sat strapped across the front and back of Helen Parr, with their wild and warmly coloured wavy locks blending with her own, teething on her hair as if their chew toys, using it to stay calm.

The disturbing sounds of an earthquake and the splitting open of the Earth only elevated the need to chew, as a mining drill – 10 meters in diameter – entered the surface world, sending cars and asphalt flying across the car park, followed by its cylindrical body, a full 25 metres in length, with tank tracks lining the bottom sides of the vehicle.

The whole of the vehicle released from the ground, and a platform elevated from the top, with another boulder shaped person

"Behold! The Underminer! I am beneath you, but nothing, is beneath me!"

'Why? Why bad guy come today? Can't he see my brother won something cool and shiny?' Shiva was slightly fuming at the entrance of this villain, disrupting the fun time his family seemed to be having.

Contrary to what Shiva thought, the family of superheroes were still smiling. An excuse to use their powers was always great, so the sight of another villain, was godsend for the older ones.

"You two, stay here with the twins," Bob's clothes already in the boot of their car, revealing his red super suit that accentuated his muscular figure, with black gloves, boots and classic superhero underwear on the outside.

"Wait. Should we be doing this? It is still illegal." Helen was right, and yet, she too was already in her costume, helping her babies into their costume once she was done, followed by her other children.

"Does it really matter? We're gonna lose him." His excitement masking his irritation, Bob was pumping himself up to get the adrenaline going, ready for a fight

"Oh, all right. One of you patrol the perimeter, keep the crowds back and safe. The other, watch the twins." "But I thought we were gonna go with..."

"You heard your mother," cutting off his daughter, Mr. Incredible turned to Elastigirl and spoke with urgency, "Trampoline me!"

Gaining momentum, she cartwheeled, followed by a back flip, landing herself in a parking space, and extending her limbs to lock onto the roofs of the two cars next to her, creating a human trampoline.

Taking the opportunity, Mr. Incredible jumped from the ground into the centre of the 'trampoline' and with the potential energy created by her body, launched himself at a perfect parabola 50 metres into the air, directly at the escaping drill's hatch that had just closed.

"I call perimeter!" Not wasting any time, the little ball of energy burst through the carpark, leaving a trail of words in his place.

"You're not going anywhere, you little maggoty creep!" Instantly retorting her brother's words, Violet created several force fields in an attempt to entrap Dash, unfortunately failing in the process.

Shiva sat there unimpressed, annoyed at his family time being disrupted by yet another villain.

Being with his family is one of the most joyous periods of time one can enjoy at a young age, and with his family all going off to fight, his afternoon was ruined.

"Bad man," Jack-Jack whispered to his brother, both sitting snugly in a two-seated pram.

"Very bad," Shiva said back in response.

"What should we do?" Getting a tad too excited for reasons unknown, the slightly smaller of the two asked in anticipation.

"Vengeance for our missed family time." Not even two years old, and planning vengeance on a mole-man who had only disrupted a casual Sunday afternoon.

The two trouble makers smiled in cunning silence.

At such a young age, one would be absorbing the knowledge of the world, understanding what to pay attention to, and learning how to form sounds they hear from their surroundings, and yet, the brothers of a couple of superheroes were already slightly learned in the English language and thinking of the near future.

This situation on the other end, seemed abnormal, even for these two. Due to their increased brain activity with their early development, sitting quietly was harder to do for more than 30 seconds unless given attention to. So, seeing the twins known for their rowdiness remaining deathly silent, Violet grew suspicious.

But before she could check on them thoroughly, a row of high-value buildings sank into the sunken holes produced by plantings of remotely-detonated bombs within the ground, leaving clouds of dust and deafening explosions in its path.

The surroundings became even more chaotic, with the horrified screaming of siblings, lovers and acquaintances, filling the once-serene atmosphere with boundless panic. Not that it was anything new for the inhabitants of Municiberg; with superheroes in action on a daily basis, it was only a matter of time before they had arrived, but it was still scary with the potential risk of death just around the corner.

'Why am the I the one left babysitting?' As a superpowered teenager who wanted to help her family out, she wanted to have fun with her family fighting villains too, and yet, here she was, remaining on the spot to take care of her little twin brothers. Verbally raging to herself the more she thought about it, in a moment of carelessness, she threw off her mask.

Looking up and around herself, she froze on the spot. Putting on a strained smile, she quickly called to the person in front of her, who also stood still, shocked, behind the cover of the car in front of him, unable to form any sentence.

"Oh. Tony! Hi. Uh, this isn't what you think it is-"

Before she could even finish her sentence, Tony had already backed off in confusion and fear, sprinting as soon as he turned around, leaving the heart broken girl staring at his back in regret and uncomfortable silence.

In scared confusion thinking about how this would affect her future, and with her brain in a mess, her twin brothers got out of their dual-seated stroller and hobbled to where she was and patted her calves from both sides, then gave them hugs in a way of showing comfort and care. Slightly bewildered but happy, she crouched down and picked them both up into her arms, hugging the little helpers in the process. With her eyes still moist and brain in a calm but confused mess, she failed to see the small figures slipping out of visible sight behind her from the pram.

< 5 MINUTES LATER >

The chaos mostly settled down now with the building-sized moving excavating drill parked in a wave of ice and the tip settling inside the top of the Municiberg City Hall. The police surrounded it, shouting, "Freeze supers!" eliciting a spiteful yet reluctantly docile approach from the family of superheroes to get out with their hands above their heads.

But while the supers were arrested, the real thief was on a journey underground to his secret hidey-hole with quite a large sum of money and gold seized from the city bank robbery not less than ten minutes ago.

Already within the escape drill – birthed from the splitting off of its main body – sat two babies in peaceful silence, ignoring the muffled noises of earth and minerals crumbling outside the metallic capsule.

"Hahaha, with this amount of money, it shouldn't be that hard to rebuild my baby, and with a few more modifications, we should be good to go rebuild soon enough..."

The capsule finally finding its way into a pre-built tunnel and nearing his base, the twins began their body-motioned conversation, to determine their next series of actions.

AN: {"Speech"} will be used to convey the words they are trying to say through sign language.

{"Attack?"} Pointing his finger turned metallic at the resident bad guy and punching his little fists together, Jack-Jack turned to his brother in confirmation; he was, after all, the smarter of the two of them and came up with the more successful and beneficial plans.

{"Soon."} Answered Shiva in a mixture of mouth and hand movements. Hidden in their own little crossover world, where only sound could escape, they waited patiently for the opportune moment to strike.

[Tunnel Entrance - Underminer Base of Operations, Earth's Crust]

{"Attack?"} Boredom finally taking its toll on the young Jack-Jack's mind, he asked flatly, floating above the mole-themed supervillain ready to end his life.

{"Yes."} His hand palming his forehead while sitting on a mountain of dollar bills, Shiva gave his consent. Even when trying to be smart and calculative while formulating a plan and following through with it, there's a limit to a one-year-old's patience. Happy to finally receive confirmation, little Jack-Jack floated right in front of their adversary, slipping back into the physical world, with increased his eyes' size for a boost in laser vision thickness.

Staring straight into the eyes of a shocked mole-man – helmet removed to show the quivering slits of what would hold his eyes. With a smile the size of his unchanged head, Jack-Jack's eyes glowed white and fired off two lines of white, piercing through the city's aggressor's eyelids, straight through to the other side, vaporising everything in its path.

Body petrified, and literally brain dead, another villain fell.

"Why bad people weak, Shiva?" Jack-Jack asked in broken English to his role model.

"Hmm..." Looking at the corpse of what was once a great mechanical engineer turned villain, his brother answered, "... They aren't weak, we're just too strong." Satisfied with his response and nodding to himself, he turned away and looked at the small mountain of gold and cash. 'What do we do with these shiny things?'
