Alex took a moment to compose himself before he replied with seriousness in his words, "My name is Zero, I came looking for some possible answers..."

Evelyn didn't let down her guard even after Alex had introduced himself and expressed his reasoning for coming here. Instead, she looked him up and down with a subtle confusion evident in her gaze.

After which, she spoke again, "Well, Zero, why do you have the energy of Madeline's spirit on you?"

Her tone was stern and unlike that of a priestess. It was clear that this topic was highly important to her and if Alex was too not give her an appropriate answer then he very well might be in danger.

Even with all the experience of facing death head-on, Alex gulped slightly at the vibe that Evelyn was projecting onto him.

'Hah, this priestess feels like she might just roundhouse kick me at any moment!'
