1 The dying soul

The night of the crimson year. Where villains use to dwell and reside. A terrific sight for all humans and not. There was a boy who has an unyielding soul that stands above all, but life seems against his happiness and was struck by a retribution from an unknown source, despite his kindness and deserving acts of a naive boy.

Gwen is a twelve year old boy who was diagnosed with a a strange disease at an age of 8. His father went all out to fish out all his assets for Gwens medical expenses, he even sold all of his shares from the biggest company in the country, despite all the sacrifices, he still hasn't recovered. It even worsen as days pass but the doctors couldn't find the reason why the tumour has a impeccable characteristic that counters the modern medicine. It seems to know every single way to avoid dying and would always slip away in the last second. But the tumour doesn't seem to cause any fatal damage, but this made the doctors confuse to their deaths, they couldn't point out the cause and effects of this unusual disease as Gwens family is starts to lose hope.

Gwen is born from a rich family, despite the riches he hold, he remain his free spirited personality. He was restricted by his illness causing his life to stagnate, being a sole son of his family where 5 of his siblings are girls made it more difficult to commit to live. All of Gwens sister has a bad temper and quite spoiled, he didn't know why but wonder how he got himself such hypocrite sisters, he often wonder if he is adopted.

One day, he dream of a world filled with life and energy. Where beings live harmoniously and the absence of chaos and conflict. It isn't wrong to say that this is the ideal life of his. There seems to be magic and witchcraft in this world, he was shock beyond words. He couldn't process the scenes he just saw, it all felt real. He couldn't remember all the details but after waking up, a earth shaking headache came crashing on his mind. An astonishing amount of information exploded on his brain like a nuclear bomb that explodes upon impact. He couldn't yell or cry since he felt like he was imprison. Gwen felt like dying a million times as the pain intensified, as Gwen started to lose himself, a blinding light seems to shine in the horizons. Gwen didn't know if its a horizon but he instinctively felt fear creeping on him. Like his a six sense has triggered, he felt like all his secrets has been ravaged by a wild wolf. Turning his head down, what he saw scared him so much that he blink non stop. A skull with a pristine halo is currently floating above, Gwen didn't know where it came from and what it was, but he got his answers immediately. The skull that look like a fossilized dragon started moving its jaws. It's quite the scene as Gwen wondered how it moved, but that's not the main point, the priority is how did he get himself in this situation.

Although he still felt pain. It receded quite a bit by now. Gwen who's lost in his thought suddenly remembered the skull who seems to talk over and over again about something. It repeats the same phrase over and over again, Gwen was scared to his wits when he saw this talking skull but after seeing and hearing what it has to say for quite some time he lost interest. The skull kept saying you!! Our saviour will become our greatest glory, give hail to the young saviour and so on. Gwen quickly got tired of this talking skull, he wondered who ever made this thing is such a fish, a fish who only knows how to perform a swimming style.

Gwen who's bored to death was shock. Swimming style, what is that? He said. He couldn't understand at all as strange things has made its way in his brain. His dream of magic and witchcraft is strange enough, not he was face with another problem. He only hope that this thing won't kill him. After who knows how long. A shrieking noice exploded from the skull, directly seeping on Gwens ears. He was startled but instead of getting annoyed he felt warm, and a pop up menu appeared In front of him. The pop up menu he often see from the video games he played during his stay on the hospital.

Gwen was hoping that this world becomes his and a place specifically for his well being. He isn't delusional to a point that things would go the way he wanted. But he hoping to see some change in the way his life is arrange in a monotone like way, after experiencing the life within the hospital for all his chemotherapy and medical needs. That's when he suddenly woke up in embrace of one his sister named Kim. She was beautiful and cute on her own rights, many traits of a perfect woman was akin to her perfect curvature and personality. If she is not his sister he would have courted this girl long time ago. Since he has wasn't been able to see things from the room.

Gwen is enraged of this and bolted out of the room despite the many medical machines attached on his body. He hasn't gone far when he knock a stranger out of rage, a beautiful eyes met Gwens as he chased her up for the incident. Gwen got a little shock, he had never seen such a gaze. He could not help but get a shiver for the moment he set his eyes on the lady. What a terrifyingly gaze that is; said Gwen. Then he quickly apologized for his mistakes, but suddenly the lady vanish right in front of his eyes. He was terrified to the bones, he couldn't believe what he just witness.
