"Creeak!"

An old, wooden door is opened emitting a creaking sound that echoes throughout the indoor space it was opening to. The room was slightly dark, however, the natural light that seeped through the almost translucent curtains, allowed everything to be visible. A young man stepped through the doorway full of sweat. The young man's breath was slightly heavy whilst dirt and grime were evident on his dark clothes and light skin, showing signs of his previous hard work. He walked into the room hurriedly as he closed the door behind him with force without even looking back to see if the door was truly closed or not. There was a sign of eagerness and anticipation in his eyes as he approached a desk in the corner of the room.

The room was simple and fairly spacious, with a desk in the corner-mounted by a computer and a chair in front of it. A mat laid in the center of the room with floral patterns and a cabinet stood on the side along with two other doors that led to separate rooms. The house was fully wooden and extremely peaceful. Inside the house, there were many flowers ranging from various shapes and sizes as well as colors. These flowers were everywhere as it was evident that the owner of this house took great care of these plants.

There was nothing special about the desk and neither was there something special about the computer on top of it. The young man pressed the only circular button on the CPU, which lit up the monitor causing a welcoming tune to enter his ears. Sitting on a chair in front of the screen, he tapped the top of the table rapidly showing his excitement. It was as if he couldn't wait for what he was about to do.

The monitor turns on, showing different icons and a background picture of a flying god-like being. The young man then opens up the browser and begins typing like a maniac. One window after another appears as his eyes finally widen seeing what was in front of him. It seemed like a video of a random shirtless man talking towards the camera, however, this was the biggest livestream in the world currently and the man he was watching was a figure looked up by millions.

Using his mouse to click several times, the stream becomes full screen and the young man sits back pulling out a small booklet that is laid on the side of the table. The booklet was slightly thin as it read, "Lester" on the cover. Lester was the young man who had just opened the booklet and pulled a pen from his pocket. He began to listen to the stream as if his life depended on it. Every single word that entered his ears never came out as it was completely absorbed by him.

"I have spread the Qi string through my body as the cultivation book says and if I have done it correctly we should be able to see its effects. There were many intricate steps and designs in which I had to follow from the cultivation book and with the assistance of lady luck, I was able to reach this stage. Please do not try this at home" The man spoke with calmness as he stepped back a little.

It was almost impossible to try what the man was doing at home as no one knew the content within the cultivation book he possessed. However, watching someone cultivating was enlightening and motivating to many.

The man was Asian and his shirtless tanned torso showed the many huge muscles he possessed. The man was built like an ox and he looked like a mountain, his arms were wider than Lester's legs and his legs twice that of. Although this man looked extremely intimidating, a smile was hanging on his face as a friendly vibe was emitted from him.

"The cultivation that I practice called, [Four Armed Bashi Technique] possesses many missing pages, therefore, the future for me will be extremely difficult after the second stage. There are over fifty pages in the book and it only guides me through two stages, although there are some leftover pages that lightly touch upon the third stage, it will still be difficult… The future is up for me to figure out... But let's focus on the second stage right now, I need to try and pass that to think about the future!" A determined look appeared in his eyes as he took more steps back.

As he was setting himself to sit down into a lotus position and cultivate, he says, "Thanks to all of the 28 million people watching this and following me throughout this journey! Maybe you will learn something from this!"

The man looked to be inside of an isolated bamboo forest in his home country of China. This was the best place for people like him. Those who surpassed the limits of mankind in pursuit of power and truth beyond the Earth, cultivators.

After the day of the contact, human life was never the same again. Eight years ago a huge space ship crashed into the Pacific ocean, stunning the world. Powerful countries such as The United States, China, Japan, Russia, and a few others were the first to react and reach the scene. It took almost a whole year but they negotiated and came to an understanding of everything together. As China was first to the scene they were able to take most of the loot, however, the other countries didn't leave empty-handed.

This event surprisingly brought the many powerful countries together as they understood that something was out there and Earth needed to be one. The most intelligent researchers came together to study this ship and understand more about the aliens as well as the many things within the ship.

Based on their understanding, it was a cargo ship carrying various items, and many of those items were lost at sea. Although many of these countries got to the fallen ship first, it did not stop many of the cargo that it was holding to either perish in the destruction or floating on the sea.

The most valuable of these items by far were cultivation books, which began to wash up on beaches around the world a year after. Many people were able to find a few pages or cultivation books with some pages missing. These cultivation books were beyond human imagination as they allowed many people to do things that no normal humans could do.

Lester looks towards the cultivating man who now sat in a lotus position breathing in and out slowly with a strange breathing pattern. He knew this was a long-lasting process, therefore, he decided to minimize the page and go elsewhere while the man cultivated. Thankfully the man was in the last steps of the second stages of his cultivation book, otherwise, everything would end up like the past streams, with him only sitting there breathing and nothing else.

Lester opened up a forum that discussed the many things in this new world. Many people tried to understand where this thing such as World Qi came from and why it made people stronger. There were many references to dark energy and other mysterious theories, and people began to research cultivation much more.

Lester had already read many of these things as he continued to scroll down the website. He was an average lurker in this forum and he always read the latest news and discoveries. As he continued to scroll down Lester's face turned ugly as an annoyed expression could be seen. This website was also extremely infamous for posting fake cultivation books from those who claim to have found a washed-up book.

These days no one trusted these people, however, when they first began appearing there were tragic consequences. The gullible tried the many fake cultivation books within the website and they were met with nothing but death. World Qi was not something anyone could play with as a single wrong step could kill you with ease. Replicating cultivation techniques was extremely difficult and nearly impossible. Unless one created a cultivation technique themselves, the intricate designs and ways of controlling the World Qi was too difficult to emulate.

At first, no one knew what was the content of these books, however, after the people on the internet came together, they were able to find patterns, translate them and understand them to the point where they could teach them around the world.

Time passes by and Lester continues to roam the website learning things about the world. Suddenly, a sound could be heard coming from the computer and Lester quickly understood where it was coming from. In a heartbeat, he closed the website and opened the livestream.

"Oh my God! It's happening!" Lester was ecstatic due to the scene ahead of him.
