The World Behind The Arch

The World Behind The Arch follows the story of Griffith and his classmates who, after being taken to a fantastic world by a strange light, part ways based on their convictions, with some wanting to return to their world, others, be able to live in the best possible way and that of the rest to take it all in stride and venture out into the world to have fun. It follows from the above that the role of Griffith drags into the background so that the story focuses more on two of his companions, Ziz and Garudo, two boys who have questionable ethics and morals and lack or have very little empathy for others, which causes that their trip around the world to become a cycle of degeneration in which they do something that ends up bringing endless pain and suffering for themselves and those around them.

Chapter 5:

Griffith was walking around town, it had stopped raining; Griffith was thinking about how he could sabotage his opponents, when his cell phone started ringing again.

[New Mission: Find Your Partner]

"Partner? Does it mean someone from class? It doesn' matter, I have more important things to do right now," the boy thought, looking at his phone.

Griffith arrived at a smithy with a sign that said "Smithy Vulcano" the boy entered it, its owner was a man with black hair, hypermusculated and who was not wearing a shirt.

"Welcome, how can I help you?" Asked the Smith when he saw it.

"What are your current benefits?"

"I don't know, I'm the most famous Blacksmith in the city, every self-respecting adventurer comes here to buy his gear."

"Perfect, I'll pay you 2000 Stallin for the store."

"Sorry, it's not for sale."

"Okay, 5,000 and a managerial job for 1,000 Stallin a week."

"How do you plan to pay that amount?" The smith asked, impressed.

"I have my tricks, my inn has given 500 Stallin in half an hour."

"Okay, but I want my contract to be for life and I can decide when to leave," the man bargained.

"Let's sign the transfer of papers," Griffith said, agreeing to the Blacksmith's bargain.

Griffith left the smithy with a newly forged sword, a gift from the blacksmith. Carlos was standing at the door, wondering whether to enter or not.

"Are you here too!?" He exclaimed, surprised when he saw it.

"Yes, just like Ziz and Garudo," Griffith answered.

"Man, at least I'm not alone in this shitty world," the boy exclaimed.

"It's more fun than it seams, well I'm going, I have things to do."

Griffith walked away from Carlos and returned to the inn, there he examined his reward for finding his mate.

"A red cape? Cool, I'll put it on right now," the boy thought.

Ziz woke up in a bed, his clothes had been changed and now he was wearing a green leather shirt with a black vest and pants of the same color, Garudo was sitting on a chair, wearing a black shirt and pants.

"Where are we?" Ziz asked his partner.

"Lucky son of a bitch," Garudo replied angrily.

"What happened?"

"The girl has undressed and dressed you, and I had to dressing myself, she has paid more attention to you, her attacker than to me, her hero," the jealous boy explained.

"How long have I been asleep?"

"About half an hour," Garudo reported.

"Something important to highlight?"

"The girl is taking a shower."

"Let's escape now that she's busy, while I was sleeping I came up with a plan to get money," the boy ordered.

"Did you sleep? I thought you were unconscious.

"Petty details," the boy replied before starting to walk toward the bedroom door.

Garudo and Ziz hurried out of the house and into an alley.

"Okay, this is the plan, when a big shot passes you will rob him with your Thief Skills," Ziz explained.

"Perfect, plus I've improved my stealth after leveling up," Garudo reported.

"There's one," he said, pointing to a fat man in a suit with a monocle.

Garudo crouched down and approached the man, quietly grabbing the bag from him, and walking back to the alley with Ziz.

"How much is there?" Ziz asked.

"10," he replied, looking into the bag.

"10,000 Stallin!? We're rich!"

"No, 10 shitty Stallin," Garudo corrected angrily.

Without thinking too much, Garudo and Ziz came out of the alley, pushed the man to the ground and started kicking him.

"You son of a bitch!" Garudo yelled.

"You are pretending to be rich and you have nothing"

"Get yourself a job and stop bragging!

"Hit him, Garudo, hit him!"

"Take this, take this!"

"In the spleen! In the spleen!"

Garudo and Ziz left the aching man on the ground and returned to their alley.

"The first one went wrong, let's try again," Ziz said, putting the money away.

The boys waited a while longer and a man dressed exactly the same as the previous one whistled by.

"Come on Garudo, get him."

"But it's the same as before," the boy complained.

"No, look at him closely," he said, pointing to the top hat on his head.

Garudo approached the man from behind and took the bag from him without his knowing it.

"To the thief!" Ziz screamed.

The man turned around and saw Garudo with his bag in hand; When he saw him, he grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and angrily began to shake him; Ziz's cell phone started ringing and Ziz picked it up to see what was going on.

[New Mission: Heist Failed] [Optional: Help Garudo] [Optional: Help Man]

Ziz put the phone away happily and with a sinister smile.

"Hell yeah, of course I'm going to help you," he exclaimed, cracking his knuckles as he approached.

Ziz got the man to release Garudo and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, before Garudo could react Ziz started punching him in the stomach.

"Learn to steal, you son of a bitch! Take this! Take this!"

"Hey," say the man, trying to get Ziz's attention.

Ziz grabbed Garudo's head and kneed him, dropping him to the ground and knocking him unconscious.

"Forgive this boy, sure that was the hunger that forced him to do it, take this as a compensation," Ziz said, giving him the bag with the 10 Stallin that he got with the previous robbery.

Ziz picked Garudo up and ran him away before the man realized he took the bag.

Ziz took Garudo to the girl's house, when she saw them he became concerned and asked what had happened.

"Some son of a bitch beat him up."

"Out of nowhere?"

"Yes, I was also surprised to see him, thank goodness I was there to save him."

"Take him to bed, I have to take off his shirt and ..."

"No! Garudo would kill me if he found out, I will."

"Why? I just want to check for any broken bones."

"I know, and you're very kind to offer, but Garudo can't bear the thought of a woman touching him."

"Why?" she asked, believing Ziz's lie.

"You know, he's one of those men who likes other men."

"Seriously? He didn't mention it to me, he even asked me for a blowjob."

"Pure acting, he doesn't like to be discriminated against for liking cocks."

"I understand, the guest room is that —said pointing to a door down the hall."

Ziz entered with Garudo and closed the door so that the girl would not see him throw him on the bed without any care.

"Let's see if you die, son of a bitch," Ziz exclaimed.

Ziz sat down on a chair and opened the bag to check how much money he made.

"10,000 Stallin! I am rich! " The boy thought, finishing counting the loot.
