The World Behind The Arch

The World Behind The Arch follows the story of Griffith and his classmates who, after being taken to a fantastic world by a strange light, part ways based on their convictions, with some wanting to return to their world, others, be able to live in the best possible way and that of the rest to take it all in stride and venture out into the world to have fun. It follows from the above that the role of Griffith drags into the background so that the story focuses more on two of his companions, Ziz and Garudo, two boys who have questionable ethics and morals and lack or have very little empathy for others, which causes that their trip around the world to become a cycle of degeneration in which they do something that ends up bringing endless pain and suffering for themselves and those around them.

Chapter 3:

Coming out of the smoke they found an arch exactly like the one they used to get there, in front of them there was a huge city; Serena and Santiago were entering in it.

"There they are!" Garudo yelled.

The boys quickened their pace to join them as soon as possible; The city had the architectural style of 19th century London, however its people seemed taken from the Middle Ages.

As they entered the city, they lost sight of Serena and Santiago again and stopped to rest.

"Serena's virginity is already lost. What do we do now?" Ziz exclaimed calming down.

"We just got to a town, we should go to the Blacksmith," Garudo suggested after taking a breath.

"Do we even have money?" Ziz asked.

"We can always offer a blowjob from Griffith," Garudo replied.

"I'm not giving blowjobs!" Griffith yelled.

"Man, you have to sacrifice yourself for the Party," Ziz said, touching his shoulder.

"Why me? What are you doing?"

"I'm leading and Garudo is giving ideas."

"Why do you have to be the leader?" Griffith asked back.

"It doesn't have to be me. Do you want to be leader?"

"Of course, and now you're the one who has to give the Blacksmith a blow job."

"Right," the boy answered with a smile. "I'm leaving the Party, I'm sorry to tell you so suddenly but I think I would be better off alone."

"You leave me alone with this one as the leader?" Garudo asked.

"Come if you want."

Ziz and Garudo started walking in the direction they think was the blacksmith when Griffith stopped them.

"So you want to join our Party, I don't know. What are your Stats?" Ziz asked.

"I do not know."

"Wow, you don't know your stats!" Garudo exclaimed as if he was reproaching him for something.

"Do you know them?"

"I have 20 Strength, 20 Intelligence, 10 Speed, 1 Stamina and 2 Concentration and Garudo 19 Strength, 20 Intelligence, 12 Speed, 3 Stamina and 2 Concentration, neither has Mana, nor Magic Power ... Ah! I had forgotten, My lucky is 35 and Garudo 25."

"How do you know that?"

"It's something that is known with Secondary Stats, like Observation, Deduction, Creativity, Subterfuge and that," Garudo replied.

"Since you're new to the Party, your Stats have to be a bit ... No, wait. What Class are you?"

"How do you want me to have a Class!? This is not a game," Griffith answered.

"He sure is a Restoration Wizard," Garudo stated.

"No, I'm not that shit."

"What are you saying!? But if it is an indispensable Class in the Party," Garudo exclaimed.

"What are we going to do without a Healer?" Ziz continued. "But Griffith is right, he can't be a Healer. Can't you see he's a Staller?"

"No, the Staller is Garudo."

"That's why he's a Thief, spreading hemorrhages left and right and stealthily poisoning his enemies."

"It's not Stall, it's playing tactical," Garudo said.

"And you? What are you?" Griffith asked.

"I'm an Assassin, he's like the Thief, but he's more likely to provoque bleed, less successful in stealing, and more likely to kill with one blow from behind."

"Well, I want to be a Paladin, so it would be Healer and DPS at the same time."

"With your Stats? I doubt it," Garudo said, making fun of Griffith

"Besides, It would screw our Party focused on Stealth."

"You can be a Bard or a Merchant," Ziz said.

"What does each one do?"

"The Bard is in the way and the Merchant is in the way," Garudo replied.

"If it's stealth, I can be Archer or Hunter."

"No, the Archer is at distance, it would fuck us going to Melee."

"Let's look at the geography of the place and the terrain on the Minimap to determine the best option," Garudo suggested.

"When I find the button to open the backpack," Ziz replied.

"Okay, how long will it take?" Garudo asked.

"I don't know, at this rate between five and ten years," Ziz answered. "By the way Griffith you can be an Adventurer, those don't specialize in anything."

"Let's stop wasting time, this game has a time cycle," Garudo said, pointing out that it was already noon.

"Well, let's go to the Blacksmith."

"Will Monsters appear at night?"

"I hope not, I've had enough of being eaten by eagles."

"What if the eagles were Monsters?" Garudo suggested.

"That would explain why they were stronger than I expected."

"Where is the Blacksmith?" Griffith asked.

"I don't know, I was following Garudo."

"But I was following you."

"But if you went ahead."

"But you're supposed to be the leader."

"So how do we find the Blacksmith?" Griffith asked, stopping his friends' stupid conversation.

"Let's look at the Minimap," Garudo suggested.

"Leave the fucking Minimap! We do not have."

"But I want my fucking Minimap," Garudo yelled.

"Well, find a way to open the Inventory."

"Maybe it's pressing E."

"We don't have a keyboard."

"Shit, and pressing Start?"

"We don't have controller either."

Ziz took his cell phone out of his pocket because he was bored and wanted to listen to music until they find a way to encounter the blacksmith, then he saw that in his usual menu there was an icon in the form of a backpack.

"I found the backpack," Ziz informed.

"And the Minimap?"

"We don't have," he answered examining the application. "But here are my Stats, Secondary Stats, Level, Health Bar and stuff."

"We have a Mission Menu!" Garudo exclaimed enthusiastically.

"Fuck I have failed them all," Ziz said looking at it. "'Look for Griffith' . Failed. 'Face the Eagles'. Failed. 'Meet Santi And Serena'. Failed."

"I don't have the eagles' mission, but I have completed Find Ziz And Griffith."

"I have completed all of them, except Santi and Serena's, four missions."

"Do they have reward?" Garudo asked looking at his Inventory. "Cool, I have 2 Berries."

"What are they for?" Ziz asked.

"They restore Magic."

"Drop that shit, we don't have Magic."

"We will sell them to the Blacksmith."

"What if it's one of those games where merchants don't accept any shit?"

"Then we will be screwed."

"Well, I'm going to the inn, see you guys," Griffith said, saying goodbye to his friends.

"But you don't have money," Garudo said.

Griffith did not answer and left, while Ziz and Garudo searched for the Blacksmith; They found him in a slum, he was a large man with long white hair, hypermuscular and wearing no shirt.

"Okay Garudo, you talk and try not to upset him."

Garudo approached the Blacksmith, and he asked him what he wanted.

"How much do you give me for these Berries?" Garudo asked.

The Blacksmith donned a monocle and leaned forward to examine the merchandise Garudo had offered him.

"I'll give you 5 Stallin for both."

"5 Stallin? 5 Stallin!!? Is that a lot? What do I buy with 5 Stallin?"

"This Minimap of the city," he replied, pulling out a map from under the counter.

"Mmm ... It's succulent. Something that isn't crap?"

"This magic card that allows you to use your Adventurer Magic without looking at your device, you will see Level, Health, Magic above you from your allies and your enemies."

"I'll keep the card."

"Just for being you, I'll give you one per member of your team if you do me a little favor."

"What favor?"

"Some eagles have been attacking my suppliers, take care of them and the reward will be yours."

"I'd rather not, give me mine and that's it."

"I see you're a smart boy, I'll give you 100 Stallin in addition to the card."

"Add a Minimap and you're done."

"It hurts, but okay."

[New Mission: Take Care Of The Eagles]

"I see that the card works with missions too," Garudo thought aloud. "We're going to do my new mission," he said, addressing Ziz.

"What is it about?" The boy asked.

"We have to kill some monsters."

"Are You idiot? We have no weapons."

"Right," he said, laughing. "Then He strained me, well, let's put it off and go find Griffith."

The boys were lost in the place, then it started to rain pots, luckily they reached the inn; The Innkeeper, a blonde woman with a high cleavage, addressed them.

"What do you need?"

"We came looking for a friend," Garudo answered.

"What is his name?"

"Griffith."

"Okay, Ramón, take them to the exit."

A six-foot man appeared out of nowhere and grabbed the boys and then threw them out the door.

"Griffith wanted to tell you, 'I'm not going to pay for you. Let's see if you can learn to mess with me,' " the man said before closing the door.
