More than the stitches

"Damn it! You're an idiot to have let her escape! What will her death help us now, huh!" Dr. Arizona who was in the middle of an operation yelled. "Out of my sight you incompetent fool!" He dissipated and out of anger, he stabbed Dr. Shaw's daughter on the chest with a surgical blade he had been holding in his hand.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" The girl writhed in pain as Dr. Arizona punched the wall with his fists.

"Doctor, you bruised her heart and she's bleeding." One of the nurses noticed.

"Do something! She's my last patient and I can't afford to lose her too." He summoned everyone.

The three nurses scrambled to connect the cardiac event monitor as Shaw's daughter suddenly closed her eyes.

"I'm sorry doc, she's...."

"You know what to do." He cut her short as he walked out of the operating room.

Elsewhere, Shark's heavily builded bodyguards curbed Davy from accessing his residence permit. Shark who was heading out saw someone he knew and called one of his guards.

"What's that fagon doing here?"

"He's here to see you, Boss." The guard responded.

"Bring him to me." He ordered and Davy came running.

"Your friend isn't here if that's what you think." Shark said.

"Yeah, that I know. She was kidnapped last night and I think she's in Serhunt Facility. That place is for crazy people and I don't know if they'll open her skull too." Davy stumbled his feet and fiddled his hands.

Suddenly, Shark's phone buzzed and he answered it.

"Marcus, what has been happening?"

"Boss, you have to come Aster right away... something...."

The call was disconnected and Shark knew he was urgently needed there.

"Hope in, I'm taking you along." He said to Davy.

"What do you know about Dr. Arizona?" Shark asked the fellow as he stepped on the gas.

"And who is that? All I know is that Carina has been wanted for such a long time by unknown person. I was blackmailed to befriend her so that her nudes would be sold to the porn industry. I don't know who owns the industry...I was just following orders. I know I'm the one to blame because Carina was willing to spend all her money to spoil me and we swindled some cash and ran away. The reason why she suddenly showed up during your mother's funeral.. Honestly, we have been laying some strategies to separate you and Yara so that Carina can win you over but since we needed money so badly, Carina posed naked for billions of which we didn't get."

"Uh!" Shark sighed and focused on the road.

"Marcus! You should have told me this earlier on." Shark said disappointedly.

"I'm sorry Boss. I thought it was best to let you rest after...."

"Not in situations like this." Shark cut the latter short. "So, what did I miss?"

"Dr. Arizona is the new CEO of Serhunt Facility after killing his colleague. He's also holding the hostage of his sick daughter." Marcus informed.

"What about Miss Parker?"

"We're still working on her case." Marcus said.

Shark looked at the woman fighting for her life on the hospital bed as he waited for Dr. Carson to finish analysing her medical results.

Two of Marcus's men rushed to Shark and the rest of his men as Davy jolted from his seat approaching them.

"We have found a body dumped in the river a few miles from the facility and it has been confirmed that the body is indeed Miss Parker." One of the men reported.

"No!" The shocked Davy exclaimed bitterly as he stormed out of Shark's Villa in Aster. Dr. Carson walked out of Flower's hospice room and Shark drew closer.

"We need to talk, come with me." She urged.

"What did you find doctor?"

"She was sexually assaulted. Whoever they are, they greatly damaged her urine passage tube and she can never enjoy intimacy, like ever again. She was also strangled on the neck, her hands were tied with a rope and cuffs cupped on her knees. It must have been really painful."

"Is she going to recover?" Shark asked.

"For that I can't guarantee you that she's gonna be okay...at least for now. It's quite tormenting and I'll have to bring one of the best therapist in my chamber to attend to her."

"Thanks Doc. She's our only hope in knowing what Dr. Arizona is up to." Shark said. "Doc, Carina was just killed and her friend mentioned something about the opening of the skull."

"Wait, I hope it's not what I'm thinking."

"What Doc?"

"It's not just only the hope of resurrection but forcing someone's mental state to adapt certain conditions. It could be possible for mentally ill patients. There has been a raid in mental hospitals where patients have been disappearing. I won't be surprised if Dr. Arizona is behind it."

"I'm trying to connect the dots and soon I'll be closer to the truth."

"Good luck with that. I'll go ahead."

"Thank you Doctor." Shark muttered.

"What next, Boss?" Marcus asked him.

"Prepare your men, we're hunting down that imbecile."Shark informed him at once.

Grasha was busy tiding the villa when Yara walked in with a basket bursting with groceries.

"Hey Grasha," She greeted.

"Good to see you Ma'am. I'm afraid Shark left early this morning."

"Is that so? I called his office but no one responded and he's not picking my calls either. Do you perhaps know if anything happened?"

"Not of that I know of." Grasha nodded sadly.

"I was hoping to find him here and perhaps cook together." Yara ascertained with a smile hiding her disappointment.

"Good timing, I was about to start preparing dinner hopefully by then he'll be back. Come join me in the kitchen, I'll teach you how to make Salmon."

"Delighted." She jolted.
