Duality

A couple have passed since I fainted in front of Karma, she explained to me that the wolf her husband did everything he did after his reported death to make sure that his daughter that he could never see have a chance at a peaceful life back when he was younger he fought because he was great at it, he would eradicate evil due to his purpose, his purpose was never to be happy married, or to even have children his purpose was to rid the world of all the evil and corruption, by being was he sought out to get rid of, he would become something people would fear and hate, is caused him to have this sense of loneliness and despair, through that he created a type of anger or thirst that could never be quenched. She knew him long before she met him, she thought he would be taller, and when she first looked into his eyes, she had never seen someone before then torture themselves in a way that he did. Her vow was to show him something he never thought he could truly appreciate and that being himself, as soon he was able to understand that he's not a monster, but a tool to help those who cannot fight the evil alone. There was a sudden explosion that separated them for a long time, during the explosion he covered her with his body, she lost only a leg, where he lost almost everything, that's when Isla and Jasmine stepped in, they only saved him if he vowed to always to what they said follow every order without question, and to be allowed only the smallest of liberties that being the ability to choose who he brings with him, but he couldn't answer, because he couldn't hear,he couldn't hear that his life is now forfeit, so she answered for him. They became weapons for the war against the world, they enjoyed being weapons, because it gave them a purpose that wasn't so selfish. Still a couple day after she told me this I am just conflicted with my own thought, confused on how her husband is the wolf that made me aspire to be better. Trying to remember how he moved when he attacked me after my fight with Karma, the only thing that stood out was his ability to move so quick and to take so much punishment without even batting an eye. While trying to understand this Nina is trying to feed me at lunch she then slaps me saying "wake up" my attention doesn't fall towards her but to Theo and Cloe who seem to be sitting next us, my mind must've been so fixated on trying to come to grips with what karma told me. It made everything else just a blur, for example I can't remember Nina coming to school with me. Or that Theo and Cloe were even with us, in my though Theo asks "so can you introduce us to your girlfriend" while looking at him he seems to be smiling enjoying the fact that his question annoys me (Cloe, Theo this is Nina) Nina then looks at Theo saying "it's a pleasure" then when she looks to Cloe, Cloe then get up saying "I'm not hungry" then leaves, after Nina sits down I find myself running after Cloe, after catching up her she looks at me like I'm scum (Cloe what's wrong) she then looks deeply into my eyes before taking her food and hitting me in the face with it, she then walks away to leave me to wipe off her food from my face. Being conflicted with the identity of the wolf has become the least of my worries. There really isn't anything I've done wrong to her, except do as she asks and aid her in Theo in the search for their parents. Maybe along the way, there was something that was said between us and it faultered her confidence in me or maybe the idiocy within my Clark Kent identity has sent some type of vibe to her, and created a crack in the relationship we have, while walking back to Theo and Nina they seem to be having a good time getting to know each other, it's strange usually I don't see Theo enjoying himself so thoroughly with someone of the opposite sex, it  was very surprising to me when it was revealed that him and Cloe even knew each other and also they were childhood friends, the students at the school would always fawn at the thought of them being together everyone suspected, but nothing was never made official so when Cloe started interacting with me it made a lot of people… dislike me, but none of them know Theo is a homosexual, only me and Cloe know, he should tell everyone, it would at least get the girls that follow him around leave me alone. It would be hard for him so he should do it when he's ready, I should never be so selfish. While listening in they seem to be talking about me, Nina is telling him about my defense mechanism that was created by mind for whenever there is a situation that I'm placed in where I have absolutely no control so singing is a way of comfort, it makes him laugh because he never knew that immediately it becomes clear to interject own thoughts on the matter before Nina says something that she shouldn't. While walking home with Nina it becomes apparent that she happier than usual, her fondness for spending time with me outside of our Amsterdam building is somewhat of a nice surprise to me, her smile is as vibrant as the sun, her hand feels so warm, it a weird feeling being with someone who has feelings for you, are deeper than the ones you have for them, Casenova was a man who found this intoxicating, for me it gives me nothing but an inner warmth and a suttle calm to the violence that consumes my life. Though this time is actually well spent because with my new glasses on my left lense, I've been cross referencing the name Saya finding her father out to be one of the largest mob bosses in the Platou that is Goliath luckily enough I've found that an agent sent by Candyce, Jasmine old boss and the head founder of alpha century, killed her father than she was found by an elderly couple her handed her to commissioner Lambert. Theyre both dead, this is a small roadblock I've hit, but Cloe just won't leave my thoughts then suddenly remembering what Landon said Cidny isn't her mother so while looking for Cloe's medical records, it's seem that her birth certificate was certified in Goliath but there is no record on her birth in any hospitals none of the names match hers there a Cleo that begets a giant red flag, due to the fact her mother a Jane doe died in child birth the same day that Saya died this was reported by a doctor Campbell, maybe he'll know more, though my first priority should be to ask the wolf himself, if I do it with Cloe he probably won't try to kill mentor opening old wounds, it'll be in front of a civilian and he does have a fondness for women after all he seems to always listen to them, matter a fact so do I, man we really are alike that make me actually... happy, also, it makes me want to throw up. Nina soon realized my focus was being taken away from her as she pulls hard on my hand taking my glasses off, then putting them on she sees that I've been doing research, luck enough she believes it's for a job "I thought Isla put you on suspension" she states my composure is kept at ease after realizing she didn't read what the research was ( she did but "no butts" ...I'm sorry what can I do to have you forgive me "you could kiss me" what…that's it "well I kissed you last time" I don't really see the difference Nina "Gabriel if you don't kiss me I'm going to get really upset" you say that in such a calm way "SOMEONE HELP THIS MAN IS TRYING TO MOLEST ME!") with that said my lips grasp at her trying to get her to be quiet before someone hears her yelling, she smile while we kiss, there is a small bit surging through me though, even if it was forced due to the fact that I'd be arrested if anyone here's what she said while parting she then turns the other way while pocketing my glasses to then hold my hand again, moments like these make me re think how dumb my life is sometimes. For some odd reason though without my glasses,a huge amount of boredom overwhelms me, why is this feeling so strong while I'm with Nina, this has only happened a couple times in the past since being put on suspension.

Me and Nina arrive at a diner, it's Chinese food, she always liked Chinese food ever since one of our covert ops, when we were sent to new Hong Kong, "the aerial city that floats the clouds" they said, it was just nothing but another city corrupted by it's inhabitants, when it was first being built the idea that is be a sanctuary for the those who've lost so much below ending up being a city so over culturized that it doesn't really have it own identity. Which was a small time triad group, that about the time that I was given a dragon tattoo my infiltration within their rank was easy, by allying myself with the leaders sister Sou Zytou, it became easy after saving her from the HKSP Nina was put on sniper detail she would watch me always from a distance always. At the time she was happen to even get out of Amsterdam, the name the white dragon was given to me the night we visited the golden Dawn's headquarters which was a restaurant called Naiomi after Sou wife who was killed in a bombing long before we met, later I would get to know that it was me that killed her, everyone which included Nina who at the time was pretending to be my sister Sou, and her brother Sadou were discussing their knowledge of me, though my scanner was detecting human bodies below us mostly female and gathered together, but above me was the packaging of columbian cocaine, these gangs don't use money as currency but instead they use drugs, weapons and people for currency, Sou knew that my focus lyed elsewhere as she tried fondling me, though her brothing anger realizing her actions shoots a round above my skull, Whit powder covered my body as well my already white clothes, instantly my instincts kicked in as my hands started moving on their killing sadou first then forcing myself on his sister before choking her and firing upon the triads, Nina joined seconds later taking the stairs after killing Sou I went to the lower levels to release over two hundred man an woman, later we found info on their other hiding spots, sending that information to Isla completed our mission as the HKSP tool the rest of the golden Dawn into costudy, after doing so I found myself looking at Sou while she lays on top of her brother Nina told me that our job here is done, helping me to leave, because my anger for scum like them became even stronger. In my anger, there is a small type of insanity due to the fact that my anger grew at the fact that Sou and sadou tested me as one of their own and showed me kindness through the lie that was my identity, and behind their kindness was fiends who would use people at toys and currency, but the fact that I looked down upon them was insane, because my job is being paid to kill people, or hunt them down, there was no real information on Sou except that her brother was a triad head, this confliction within my mind is always one of, who is actually the bad guy, is there even such a thing, then it makes me laugh because it's insane, I fight evil even though I am evil. Nina soon catches on that my mind is elsewhere as she sees me chuckle at typically nothing "hey are you okay?" She asks me this while sounding very sad, but she loves Chinese food (don't worry about me, what about you ? are you okay ? "Well-i- I'm ecstatic that were actually spending time out of HQ, but you've seem so distracted, it make me think… is-no never mind" I'm sorry but it's just these past couple have given me a lot to think about, like why did that guy say you are vulnerable "maybe… maybe this was a mistake" what are you talking about ? "maybe we aren't meant to be together" Nina I like you I really do, I couldn't be happier then I am, right now "I like you too much to really let you go anyways" I'm not giving up on you, but right now we need to understand what he meant, so why do you think your vulnerable, Klaus almost died so did Bill in the other, but why did he say that you vulnerable, it makes no sense to me "I don't know Gabriel, but maybe I'm just weak" you're not weak your stronger than I could… "stop trying to flatter me okay, I'm not as strong as you, I'm not as fast, I'm twice as intelligent, but with that I have to rely on your strength more than anyone maybe without you I'm vulnerable, or maybe my feelings for you make vulnerable, I don't know Gabriel can we talk about this after we get home" sure) when we get back to our Amsterdam building we are approached by some of our other classmates "Nina Heine" they call out to her with a malicious yell, immediately Nina hides behind me, they don't seem to recognize me as they call her name's such as slut, she shivers her face into the back of my jacket, she hates herself at this moment understanding that she can't do anything to defend herself, because doing so would break her cover and cause suspicion,, and that would lead Isla to take her away from me for awhile, so by walking up to the shouting individual she becomes ever more silent as my presence delivers a certain amount of aggression, their jealousy really has no bounds, the nerve of them. All of them are apart of that posse that follows Theo around, by grabbing the hand of one of their members, that being Escha the rough around the edges bitch who is always at odds with you if she respects you, she first met me when Theo and I were talking about HP Lovecraft and his cat, she asked me about myself and my knowledge of Theo, then he interjected by calling me his friend immediately she was then thrown off but it allowed me to notice the tattoo behind her ear it was cursive L, when we first came to Amsterdam we were given the layouts of local gang, that being the leucet gang a family who tattoo each member behind the ear, with that in mind i departed leaving Theo to his own devices, that being his "swimming"  which is him going to the X rated section at the comic book store to read BL. While following Escha, there is a lot she doesn't do around the other girls, she goes to this foundation that looks after injured animals, there was nothing shady about that place except one of the doctors is sleeping with one of their frequent donors so they can keep getting funded, when asking Nina information on her she brought up nothing except her last name, lycenthrope, which also stands for changling, from man to beast, while continuing to follow her she lead me to someone who seemed to look like her, like an older brother he had the same tattoo, he hit her to the ground, my body moved on it's own as it intervened, she wouldn't be able to recognize me because of the mask that I niqued earlier when following her, instantly grabbing him, he then started to cry as the pressure of my hand turning his wrist became too much for him, he than ran away saying something along the lines of my father will hunt you down, when helping Escha up she seems to be entranced while I'm taking a look at her scar to get a bet look at her tattoo she then dramaticaly pushed me away just to dust herself off, she looked to the wall then curled her hair around her finger, in my head at the time, I was thinking that she must be trying to thank me, her tattoo was strange it carried a digital signature when returning to Theo she stopped me giving me a pendant that had her initials on it, then she ran away, later that day we found her dads hide out, and realized his wife was funding the foundation his daughter worked for, while interrogating her father he told me that he doesn't involve himself in all the politics of the underworld but instead uses his sources to keep his family comfortable and to keep other gangs out, so instead of killing him we were paid to take his son away who was accused of multiple account of rape, in all seriousness I wanted to get paid for the bounty on the family, by instead he paid alpha century to be a off the books police force so he sent us after his son after one night he caught him raping his sister, there was a brief moment between me and Escha so when hearing that my hands did not hesitate, we found him trying to choke a hooker to death, he knew we came for him, he thought we weren't going to kill him, instead his legs were chopped off by my axe before it split into his skull, while moving my face closer to his, I could hear his whimpering until my axe split his head two. Getting back to the matter at hand after grabbing Escha hand I give her the pendent she gave me, she looks at it for a moment before realizing who she must have gave this to she then look at my smile with a surprised expression before telling the other girls that Nina isn't worth it, then leaving turning around, it looks as if Nina already entered the building, all that happened for nothing. She was supposed to witness me standing up for her in a nonviolent way, so instead my compulsive laughter distracts me from being embarrassed but before entering the building someone runs behind me, stopping at a five foot distance she is young breathing quite heavy, its Escha (hi) she then hits across the face, at this moment it seems as if slapping my face nowadays is a standard amongst women, she then pouts before saying "jerk" she then runs away again, to then come back not a moment later she then kisses me then in her state of being very flustered she almost slaps me again before I grab her hand (ha) then soon realizing she has two hands then hits me with the other, as soon as she left I stood there for five minutes just to make sure she didn't come back, (why does happen to me?) Then a man says "because you have a very slapable face watch" it was Klaus while backhanding me (what the hell was that for "trying to figure out that without something covering your face you really feel no need to commit violent acts" no it's that I'm not being paid to do so you fucking ass "watch your tongue boy" no you walk where your stepping SIR or you might fall) everyone me and Klaus interact it's always a conflict of interest he hits me I hit him, we fight then Isla breaks us up it all because when we were doing a favored for him he asked no bloodshed, but instead blood was about the only thing that we were able to see, he asked us to help his old KGB apprentice, but he didn't want help, but instead set us up taking off one of my legs, so I did what needed to be done, which was killing anyone who got in my way of Klaus old apprentice, it wasn't even me at my strongest, because my body was getting used to my new prostetic created by Bill. We then got into a scuffle outside of the Amsterdam building, before Nina walked out to break us up (come on let me just take one finger "yeah right dog like you could") she then gave off a presence all I could sense one of immediate disappointment then she pulled on my ear all the way up to my room "what is the deal with you two always being at each other's throats all the time, is so annoying" she says before scoffing at me, she knows why so isn't really anything to say (I forgot to tell you, that you look beautiful today) maybe that'll distract her from me and Klaus's spat it does as she kisses me, saying "you are so lucky to have me, if it was anyone else they would've ran away at the sight of you being so childish (luck? No it my charm) shut up (you're gonna have to make me ) oh am I now (sure I mean your the only one that can) wow…What a responsibility my mother would be proud (I want you with me till the end) I wouldn't have it any other way" she then continues to kiss me, but there is something strange about my room, when we reach the bed I grab the gun from under my pillow pointing it at my couch firing a round above "Gabriel!!!" Nina shouts before the thing on my couch makes us aware of their presence, it's the wolf "hi".
