chapter 7 act 1

During the rest of the flight Cidny wore my helmet as I slept, I'm trying to give her enough knowledge of me as possible, after what Isa told me, I need her more than anything, if I ever truly want control over my true strength. As we land, Isa gives me one last piece of advice "you are not who you are, you are who you think other people think you are" she quoted Charles Cooley, when Cidny took of my helmet after we landed, she asks "do you know how much information has been collected about you… this'll take days, there is good, bad, sad, and even comedy in the bluntness that you've carried. It's a lot to consume, do you even know some of this information that's been gathered?" (No) she looks at me with disdain, and disbelief. As we leave the airport Mikki is holding a sign waiting for us, she cut her hair, and is dressed to culture with tight jeans and a big pink sweater that reveals her shoulders, her sign says "welcome back". Cidny looks at me then looks at her, then proceeds to punch me in the shoulder, where I'm still recovering from a gunshot wound. As Mikki spots us she gets giddy with excitement and jump at me I catch her so she doesn't fall "oh my God I missed you so much…." She says that as I proceed to put her down then she looks at Cidny "hi I'm Cidny, you can call me Cid" Cidny introduces herself to Mikki, Cidny is usually shy individual, seeing this surprises me. Also I push Mikki away as she tries to grab my right glute while looking at Cidny with a malicious smile, Mikki then looks at me "who… oh I'm sorry my name is Mikianea Lambert I work with as well as go to school with H" she says, I slowly walked to the car. I know which car it is based on the Hello Kitty tag on it.  I wait in the passenger seat after I put me and Cidny's things away, I look at them talk, they both seem to be enjoying themselves, I look around to see if anyone is watching us, Mr.kotegawa is watching from a distance, I can sense his sights in me. I plan on going back to the academy later tomorrow, after I re acquaint myself with the city, this city is known to many people as the place that should never be, a new Columbia for the rich and political idealist to prosper and self indulge in the industry of desire, consumption, and betterness based on status, this island is twice the size of Japan, but was created for a better purpose. A better purpose, something I truly desire, my helmet started beeping next to me, I put it on to hear Michael say [the mist is coming] (Wilco) [is this what I think it means] (it's everything you think it means. What's the weather like tomorrow) [it'll start at 56'f with a large chance of rain, wait are we not going to talk about this] (I like the rain, send a message to Christian, ' we've arrived ' end message).

Cidny and Mikki finally stopped talking, they then enter the car laughing, when Mikki gets in the driver's seat she checks herself in the mirror "aww my new make-up waning" (waning ? ) "Oh don't worry" I don't know why but I feel deluded at the moment tiredness flows through me exhausted, empty, it's the jet lag has to be, no it's the blood loss I haven't had a transfusion I'm going to pass out "oh you know he always worries" Cidny is talking to Mikki "oh when he worries he does that face doesn't he 'he did all the time ' the first time I saw it, oh my god it was like… does he have his helmet on a lot 'yes, I've gotten used to it, though I think he's sleeping' he does that standing up ' I've seen that' oh my God it's so scary" they laugh I don't know what, but I can hear what they are saying, I'm slowly losing consciousness, I tap on Mikki shoulder, she looks at me "oh no! 'what ' he dieing 'what!!" I then passed out, I feel cold I've never felt this way before. I gaze into the abyss and the abyss gazes back, and we are equally empty.
