69 Revelation

Yun Meili's eyes shot open as she gasped for air. The dull, throbbing pain that lingered beneath her chest toed the line between reality and a mirage. It felt so real, but if she tried to focus on it, it would disappear as though it never existed in the first place.

Waking up after seeing such a long dream about hazy memories buried deep within her mind, she felt rather disoriented. Adding to her confusion was the fact that she couldn't recall most of what had happened after she began fighting the elders of the Dajian Sect. Her head felt foggy, and she didn't know where she was or how she had gotten there.

Groggily getting up from the uncomfortable bed, she began observing her surroundings. The room she was in was rather minimalistic; there was the bed she was lying on in one corner, in another was a cabinet full of medicine. Other than that, the white walls contained little else. This simplicity reminded her of a place she was somewhat familiar with: the Medicine Hall.
