1 CHAPTER 1: FAITH

O sometime in the evening..

A yellow taxi cab parked across the streets of the mundane hotel, getting out of the passenger seat was Bigby wolf, a dashing broode fellow..his hair hues of brown falling backwards,he wore a white plain shirt with a loose neck tie, along with the plain black trousers and shoe..the sleeves of the shirt folded upwards up to his elbow point revealing his rather manly hairs on his arms.

Bigby reached for his pocket bringing out a pack of huff & puff cigars which was his favorite brand of cigars, lighting them up as he smokes on the streets of fabletown. before walking into the apartment building...

opening the doors, he is met by mr Toad .. a four ft toad like creature standing upright in a red robe and blue shorts.....who stood by the foot of the stairs as he looked up in distraught by the loud banging noise coming from upstairs..

"TOAD!!" Bigby called out as he looked pissed.. whilst Toad almost jumping out of his skin from bigby's call "Sh..eriff I'm glad you're hear " - said Toad frightened

" Why aren't you in glamour, I've told you toad..follow the rules or is up to the farm you go" - Bigby sneered

[N/B: Glamour is a magical spell that cloaks and transform fables into human appearances

" Come on Bigby, do you know how much it costs to get the whole family in glamour " - Toad

" I don't care, just get it done!" - said Bigby in an autorative manner before the loud banging from upstairs interrupts the conversation

" What's going up there Toad"- Bigby

" please sheriff, I can't take this no more he has to go, it's bad for business ey " - said Toad in his British accent

"I'll handle it" - Bigby responds as he heads upstairs..the noise kept getting louder till he arrived at the door.. upon hearing a woman screaming he immediately burst down the door with his feet only for his gaze to set upon THE WOODSMAN hitting a lady to the ground.. The woodsman was a rather large bald and bearded hunky guy dressed in a green stripped with black cloth which was tuckered into his brown pants

Bigby grew furious lunging himself whilst he grabs the woodsman backing him up to the wall, his forearm against his throat

"HEY HEY HEY! , What the hell is going on Here" - said Bigby as he pressed on further trying to evaluate the situation

" BACK OFF WOLF, "THIS AINT YOUR BUSINESS" - the woodsman cried out as he grunts towards the lady in a black dress,short black hair and a purple ribbon on her neck ...her face was already bruised up from the beating as she spat the blood from her mouth on the woodsman face...this enraged the woodsman as he knocks back Bigby before attempting to grab the lady ..but Bigby pushed him back towards the wall

" STAY BACK OR IM GONNA BEAT THE CRAP OUTTA YOU"- Bigby threatened the woodsman

"THAT'S NOT HOW IT WENT LAST TIME WOLF" - The woodsman replied sneering at Bigby

"THIS AINT LAST TIME WOODY"- Bigby concluded but it fell on deaf ears as the woodsman threw the full fist at Bigby but he dodged it and gave him a blow of his own directly on his nostril whilst he grabbed him and throws him on to the sink base in the room ...the woodsman's body crashing badly on to the sink breaking it in shatters but it didn't seem to stop him from charging back at Bigby but Bigby followed it up with a punch to gut as both men grabbed each other showing a test of strength ..the woodsman became successful in knocking Bigby onto the wall shattering the mirror but this didn't stop Bigby as he dashed forth picking up the woodsman as they both BURST THROUGH THE WINDOW ...Bigby crashing and burning on top TOAD'S CAR whilst the woodsman fell onto the streets seemingly unconscious...

TOAD runs coming outside "MY CAR! " he screamed in awe "DAMMIT BIGBY, I called you here to fix one problem but you end up causing another" - Toad said angrily

"ugh..ugh.. im sorry about the car Toad, things went outta hand" - Bigby said as he grunts whilst still on top the wrecked car before he gets interrupted by a loud roar

"BIGBY!!!" The woodsman was up and ready..his face a little bloody as he dragged Bigby off the car grabbing him and pressing him against the brick wall..."COME ON THEN, BRING OUT THE BIG BAD WOLF...SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT "

* HACK & SLASH* as the woodsman very own Axe was buried deep into his head as his grasp as against Bigby was lost he staggered a little bit before crashing to the ground covered in his own blood .... the person responsible was the lady he beat up

"That's what you get " - she muttered as she looked at Bigby

"Thanks.. you are?" - Bigby said as he adjust his loose neck tie still leaving it loose

"The name is FAITH" - she replied

"Faith... what the hell happened between you two" - Bigby asked further

"He refused to pay what he owe as she began searching the unconscious body of the woodsman but found no money but couple of pennys " Shit of course he is broke " - she cried out as she kicked him

"he has had enough" - Bigby said as he tried to calm her

"He is a fable, he won't die from that, but if I turn up empty handed I might just be dead" - faith replies angrily

"maybe I can help" - said Bigby as he brought out a $100 and gave it to her .. "will this do"

"yes Thanks Bigby... you're not as bad as they say " she said as her eyes gleamed from stress free..

"oh yeah?" - replied Bigby as he lits up a cigar "want one?"

"Huff & puff cigars, only you Bigby will smoke that crappy brand..I got my own" - said faith as she she pulls out a cigar from her purse afterwards Bigby lights it up for her.. upon his notice the woodsman was GONE!!

" shit ,now I got a fable with an axe in the head running around town" - Bigby said as he puffs a smoke

" I'll let you get to it, see you later Bigby " - faith replies as she walks away

Bigby continues smoking as he looks at the blood splatter on the streets...
