10 Chapter 10 The letter
Date: 7/25/2001
It had been three days since my arrival in this house, and I can say something, Nat is a cool mom/big sister, I am not sure what to call her, until now I have never called either mother or sister, more inclined to simply calling her Nat, scared that she might be annoyed if I called her in any other way.
During this time I had almost no time to do any mana training apart from night since Nat basically stayed by my side 24/24, I was able thought to gain some books through her, but none of them had skills that I could learn with my current stats, so I simply decided to read during the day while not being with Nat, and train Mana during the night, my need for sleep now being absolute zero.
After all these hours of grinding, I had gained the current level-ups and stats.

Small but constant progress, is the important thing, and it's not like impending doom is coming for me.

Impending doom is aiming for me.
The day had started like any other, with me fake sleeping and Nat opening the door to my room to wake me up.
We then headed for the kitchen where we ate cereal with milk, I told her I could cook but she said that wasn't needed.
And just as I was about to head for the library inside the house, an owl started hitting one of the windows with its beak while a letter was rolled on its leg.
"... What the fuck?"
"LANGUAGE." Nat after rushing into the room, but before she could reprehend me for my foul words she saw the owl.
" It came earlier." She said.
" You know why it is here?" I asked her.
She simply nodded and opened the window letting the owl inside.
The owl flew inside and landed on my shoulder, most likely waiting for me to take the letter.
I took the rolled letter from its leg and it flew again leaving behind a stunned Harry, me, and an excited Nat.
" Come on, open it?"
" How do we know it isn't a bomb?"
"... Just open it." She said with a tired smile.
I opened the letter with a smile and started reading.

" You are a Wizard Harry."
" I already k-"
'Shit.'
Her eyes opened up at my revelation.
" You know? How?"
" Well... I can do this." I said while creating a rope made of mana in my hand.
"... That's... how... without a wand."
' I think I broke her.'
She then started explaining what she knew about England Wizards, how no common magician should be able to simply create magic and do it without a wand, those able to do such things are considered Master Warlocks able to destroy entire cities by themself.
She explained how I was considered a hero by the Wizard society after apparently surviving and killing a Dark Wizard called Voldemort, and how at the age of 11 every boy or girl with the potential to become a Wizard or Witch, would get a letter from a Magic School, mine being Hogwarts.
" And when were you thinking of telling me all of this?"
" When the letter arrived, only it came earlier than expected."
