August walked over to the mage's body, watching as his lifeless body lay on the cold floor. Approaching, he tried to remove the mask but failed. Before he could touch the magician's mask, the Magician's Hand moved and squeezed August tightly.

Practically without effort, he got up and looked around, and saw the surprised expressions on the faces of all those present. Looking directly into August's eyes, which narrowed dangerously, he said, "Surprised? Did you think such a simple attack would kill me? Did you think you could hurt me with such poison? Well, I'm here to disappoint you."

August was thrown back by a powerful wave of kinetic energy, unable to resist.

Other witchers, seeing that the magician was uninjured and healthy, rushed at him with swords ready to kill him. Attacking from every angle, stabbing, slashing, and using powerful blows, they all tried to get to his flesh.

With a little effort, the magician repelled all the attacks that came toward him. Instead of 5 witchers cornering him, he alone cornered them all. By quickly casting the spell, the magician sends out a wave of fire that envelope several witchers, making it impossible for them to continue the attack.

It took a few minutes for the mage to take out every young monster slayer single-handedly. While the young witchers fought with a powerful magician, August tried to recover a little.

August downed all the potions he could to get stronger, faster, more durable, and more resistant. It is not the time to give up. It is time to try even harder.

He drank Blizzard to improve his reflexes, Full moon to increase his vitality, Kiss to increase resistance to bleeding, Maribor Forest to increase endurance, Swallow to improve regeneration, and Towly Owl to increase stamina regeneration.

August's appearance changed. His veins turned black and swollen. His heart rate increased significantly, allowing everyone to hear him. But with the changes, the effects of potions also appeared.

His already sharp reflexes went crazy, allowing him to catch even the slightest movement and see everything around in great detail. His body was filled with newfound strength and energy to move forward and act like lightning.

Wasting no time, August entered a fierce battle with his opponent. He tries to cut and pierce. Spinning his sword around like a fast windmill, leaving no gap for his opponent to strike through.

There was a fierce battle between the two monsters. They collided at speeds inaccessible to the normal eye. The only thing that reminded others of the ongoing battle. The sound of sword and staff colliding causes sparks to fly around.

*clunk* *clunk* *clunk*

August focused entirely on the battle, giving his all to crush his opponent with every move he had. But despite his great efforts, the magician had no particular problem in repelling August's attacks. He easily dodges and parries all of his furious attacks.

As proved that it wasn't something the man couldn't handle was his ability to speak while he was still fighting August in an unbelievably fast fight.

The magician mocked August: "Is that all you have? You have been gifted with such incredible abilities, but is that all you have been able to achieve? I had so many hopes for you. Maybe I should give you a little push?

August could not speak to the man during the fight and decided to just swear: "Shut up and fight, abandoned child."

For reasons still unknown to August, he called the man an abandoned child, which affected the man.

This particular phrase made him feel uncomfortable. With a hidden smirk, he waved his hand, casting a spell, "FulmanSphericus".

After casting the spell, a huge fireball flew towards the wounded witchers. Geralt, who was less wounded than the others, shouted "Dodge!"

Covering Nenneke with his body, Geralt tried to move away from the epicentre of the fireball, which enveloped almost the entire room and made a large hole in the tower, causing brick rain to fall on the people below.

The mage smiled as he saw at least two witchers were completely engulfed in flames from which there was no way to get rid of, while others were guaranteed to receive ugly burns that would stay with them forever.

Seeing the power of magic, August tried his best to keep the magician busy and limit his use of magic. But it didn't have the effect he was hoping for. Instead, the magician challenged August, "I think you've had enough fun. Now let's see how you handle my attacks."

Having said this, the magician began the offence. Attacking from all sides with powerful blows, his staff twirled in his hands as if he had a mind of his own. A series of attacks that were hard to defend against, attacks that were powerful enough to make August take a step back with every parry.

Gradually, the magician cornered August more and more, leaving him no way to dodge.

August took a desperate step when he remembered the memory of his childhood.

[Memory]

August stood with Hans as they practised how to skillfully and effectively dodge and avoid all arrows, thrown rocks, and incoming blows.

August failed to do some of them, which made Hans very upset. He yelled at August, "Trust your body, your talents are far greater than anything others could achieve. you have to develop your greatest abilities. Your sixth sense is not only what you can imagine, there is much more potential in this ability of yours.

August frowned at his teacher advice. "But I'm already trying to leave all this to my body. As you said earlier, what else should I do?"

Hans stepped closer to August, hit him on the head and replied: "That was only the first stage that you had to reach. Now you must learn to control this ability yourself. There will be times when you may need it."

August expressed bewilderment and complained: "But how? I don't understand how to do it?

Hans shrugged, saying, "I don't know the way. I can only guess, kid. You will have to reach that stage yourself."

Inwardly, August thought, "What is the point of learning to control what your body does perfectly? Doesn't matter, I will think about it later. I don't have time to learn how to develop this mysterious ability. Other things are much more important."

[Flashback ends]

Under a strong onslaught, August closed his eyes, losing his sight. Instead of seeing, he tried to perceive. Many blows now fell on August. Gritting his teeth, he continued to focus, completely ignoring the excruciating pain flooding his entire body.

Gradually, more and more blows became apparent to August. With his eyes closed, he parried them, redirecting their power somewhere else to lessen the effects.

But the magician would not stop. On the contrary, he began to build up power, increase the strength of his strikers and make them faster. This pushed August to his absolute limits.

Suddenly, August's eyes snapped open, but now they were different. There was no anger, no emotion, nothing to tell the difference between him and the robot. They became glassy, but something changed along with it.

What happened to August is hard to describe.

Nothing mattered to him at this particular moment. There was only one thing left in his sight: his enemy.

Nothing else exists for him at this moment. He entered a state of extreme concentration, with nothing to distract him but the goal. Along with that came another feeling, he could see the transparent figure of the magician moving and hitting him, but these were not actual attacks, just a glimpse of future ones.

By seeing events before they happen, August changed the balance of power. August dodged and hit the gaps that the magician had at the time of his attacks.

The magician could not land a successful blow on the boy, using all sorts of tricks and fake attacks. The magician tried to use them to catch August by surprise, but all of them were predicted and prevented.

Not a single attack could reach August's flesh.

Anticipating the next move, August took a risk and went for a risky attack, which can greatly hurt him, risking himself, going straight into the trajectory of the magician's staff.

With a powerful blow, August tried to pierce the magician's stomach, but, contrary to what he had foreseen, when his sword almost touched the magician's flesh, he was caught by the magician's hand, preventing the sword from penetrating the flesh.

With a wave of his hand, he pushed August away using a strong telekinetic wave. Giving a glance in August's direction, he said, "Great job August, you develop nicely. Don't disappoint me next time we meet."

With his last words, no one could stop him. He teleported away from the tower, leaving everyone there one step into the grave.
