Chapter Six
Rin is busy plotting Magic Traps and Magic Circles around the Forest. She is also checking every nook and corner. After almost a month, she summoned the Leaders of every Magical Beasts and Tribes of the Forest.
"Your Majesty." All of them bow down to her. Outside the forest, she is the Legendary Witch; but inside the Forest, she is their Queen and protector.
She pursed her lips before speaking. "Please all stand. I told you, you can just call me my name. There's no need for formality."
"But Your Majesty, you are our Queen. You are the Ruler of this Forest." Said the Leader of the Dryads.
The others nodded in agreement.
Every time she summoned them; this always happens. The Previous Ruler of the Forest disappeared after she turned 10. But before he disappeared, he transferred all his Mana and Magical powers to Rin. They said that he is still alive. But no one knows where he really is.
Rin was abandoned in the Forest when she was 5 years old. The Previous Ruler adopted and raised her like his own.
The one in the Legend, is actually the Previous Ruler. They thought that he is a Witch because he looks like a Beautiful Maiden. But in actuality, he is a man.
Rin frowned and sighed in defeat.
"Okay. Okay. Now, I have something to announce that is why I summoned all of you here."
The Leaders gasped as if they know already what she is going to announce. One of them suddenly cried, she is a tiny being with pretty wings and shining with star dust. "Are you also going to leave us?! How could you?!! Your Majesty, if you leave us, who's going to protect us? Who's going to lead us? "
And once again, Rin frowned and she massaged her temples. She is having a headache.
As the Leaders went into their own imagination, Rin cast a Magic Spell and everyone went into silence. Of course, no matter what and how loud they shout or speak, no voice is coming out from their mouths.
She fakes a smile and swept them a cold glance. "Now, if you don't stop your Dramas, all of you will never ever speak again."
The Leaders started to gazed at each other, then they pursed their lips and behaved like a child.
Seeing their reaction, she snapped her fingers and the spell instantly vanished.
"First and foremost, I am not leaving all of you and the Forest. I will visit here every once or twice a month. Secondly, Lily will temporarily replace me. She will oversee the Forest and Report everything to me. Thirdly, I have checked all the Traps and other Magic Circles around the Forest and reinforced them. If someone will try to purposely enter our Ground, I will be the first one to notice. I will also give Lily a link to those Traps and Magic Circle for her to also know. Fourthly, I will bring Kyell into the Empire. Just like Yuu, he will live in my shadows. And lastly, listen to Lily. Do I make myself clear?"
"Ahm Your Majesty… How long will you be gone?" Ask the Leader of Elf Tribe, Laflen.
"How long? Hmmnn… I don't know. But the important thing is, I will visit every now and then. So you don't have to worry."
"Your Majesty, are you leaving because of that Man? The one you saved last time?" Asked Herion, the Leader of Centaurs.
Rin looked at him then she answered, "Yes. And I hope that all of you will understand me." She smiled in a kind way.
And seeing the determination in her eyes, the Leaders no longer asked her why.
She was a human to begin with. She was left with a heavy burden since she was young. She never had a chance to meet someone. Even if all of them oppose to the idea, in the end all they can do is to support her and protect her in the dark. But honestly, she is more powerful than the rest of them. They can only sigh in defeat.
Lily was the Leader of Dryads. And since she's a Nature Spirit Connected on every Tree in the Forest, she's the Best replacement for her.
After several Instructions from Rin and Lily, the meeting ended. The Leaders return to their respective Tribes to convey what has been discussed and instructed. Lily, Kyell and the Wolves stayed.
"Your Majesty, please take care of yourself. If someone dares to trouble you, us the Wolves will punish them." Said Loki, the Leader of the Pack. Even if he's a beast, he can speak due to being a High Wolf class.
"You're such a worry wart Loki. Don't worry, I will be fine." She giggled and gently pat the head of the High Wolf.
"You just need to enjoy your life in the Empire. Rest Assured, I will not let you down." Lily said in a gentle tone.
She smiled back and went back to the House to check her things.
"Looks like I have no other dress than this one I'm wearing." In fact, she doesn't need to have another dress. She can use her Magic to have it instantly cleaned. Also, she is just leaving in the Forest. There is not dress etiquette.
A day after, the Leaders together with some of their tribesmen, appeared at the front of her House. Today is the day that she will be leave for the Empire. She looked at the sky and smiled to herself. The Sun is beaming up above! It's like giving her also their blessing and good luck.
Everyone started to say their good lucks and good byes. All of them said that she should take care of herself. That she should be aware of the opposite sex and so on and so forth. With a smile, Rin and Kyell bid her farewell.
