The Stronger, The Better
Melissa and Raven meet up at their circle of witches. Melissa calls Allison and demands she get here quickly. While they wait for Allison, Raven asks Melissa what she did to love her new power. All Melissa told her was that she will have to wait to hear it until Allison gets here. She wants her to hear it too, but she doesn't want to explain it twice. Raven just looks at her and shrugs her shoulders. About five minutes later, Allison arrives in panic. "OMG. What is so important that I had to get here so quickly?" Allison yelled out.
"A-Ahhh. Geez, Allison. You're going to have to get used to these kinds of calls, we are witches now and we are receiving new powers and when this happens we all are to meet here!" Melissa said loudly.
"She's right Allison. We must meet here every evening from now on," Raven replied.
"If you aren't going to participate with us, then get out of our circle," Melissa said in a mean voice.
"Dammit. I didn't mean it like that. I meant that I was just busy at home," Allison said.
"Okay lady stop, just stop it. We are all in this together, so we all will get along," Raven replied.
There's some tension between the three witches, they all feel a bit distracted by something, or is it that they don't know how to handle their new powers and it's getting to be too much for them? They must find a way to pull themselves together and work together on this, or they will destroy everything around them. What they don't know yet, is Circa had made this mysterious ring of trees, in the center of this village. This is the hunting ground of Circa and Alatar, but the girls have no idea what this place is, they think that it's their circle.
Raven looks at Melissa and asks her what is so great about these powers, Melissa replies excitedly, "I am now able to vanish, I can make things vanish as well!" "Before we go any further with this, we must make a pact that we will not let anyone find out about us!" Raven said. Allison and Melissa agree with her. "This is our circle and we must keep it sacred," Raven said.
The three witches are becoming stronger and better, but they don't know how strong they will become when things start to go wrong.
They think that everything is on their side since they became more powerful witches than they were, especially Melissa. She thinks that nothing can harm her since she now has the power to vanish and vanish others. What she doesn't know is, if she uses her powers in the wrong way, it will come back on her tenfold. Melissa raves about becoming a stronger witch and using her powers. Raven tries to tell her that she had better watch what she's doing, or things will go wrong. Raven explains to her that this is nothing to mess around with. But Melissa doesn't care, she's going to do whatever she wants to do no matter what.
Raven suggests that they must find out what happened to Circa, they haven't seen her in days, ever since the spell was cast upon her. Melissa suggests that they should do some type of calling for her. They don't know how to do this yet, so they must read the book of spells to know what they are going to do. They all leave the circle and head back to Raven's house.
When they arrived at her house, they all went to her bedroom, hopped on the bed and Raven took out the book. They all sit in a small circle on her bed with the book inside their circle and they start reading it. As they flip through the pages, they cannot find where it says to call upon another witch. Melissa becomes frustrated because she wants to use her vanishing powers, she wants to try it on someone or something, but she must' right now, they must find Circa since she is the leader of them.
There are powers that they cannot use unless the leader is with them, it is said that if those powers are used, then you will not receive any other powers. Raven explains to them that she is just going to go out tomorrow and search for Circa, she doesn't know where, but she's determined to find her. She asks Melissa and Allison if they are going with her and they tell her they will go with her.
EARLY THE NEXT MORNING:
Raven woke in the early hours of the morning, she couldn't sleep all night, all she thought about was finding Circa and where she was going to start the search! She gets dressed and leaves her house. She decided not to wait for Melissa and Allison to start looking for her. The first place Raven ends up is at Circa's home. She looks around her house and nothing is out of place, she walks up to the front door and peeks inside the window. All lights are off and everything seems to be still. She taps on the front door, she's so nervous that she almost ran off the porch. She knew she couldn't do that, so she knocked loudly on the door. Out of nowhere, a tall, thin, brown-haired man answered the door.
Raven stood there staring at this man because she had never seen him before. The man welcomes her inside the house. She was hesitant about going in, but she did. She knows she must find out about what happened to Circa and maybe this man knows. The man walks her into the dining room and asks her to take a seat. Raven sits down at the table, then the man asks her if she wants anything to drink, Raven tells him no, in a firm voice.
