The Witch's Reign

The darkness of the night had descended upon the small village of Thornwood, casting a shadow over the cobblestone streets and the dilapidated houses that lined them. A cold wind blew through the trees, rustling the leaves and making them dance in the moonlight. It was the witching hour, the time when the veil between the living and the dead was said to be at its thinnest. In the center of the village, a group of hooded figures gathered around a bonfire, their faces hidden in the shadows of their cloaks. They were the members of the Witch's Coven, a secret society that practiced the dark arts in secret. At their head was the leader of the coven, a powerful witch known only as the Dark Queen.
