Adelia stifled a groan as she turned away from him and her eyes scanned the targets that hung on the wall. She let out a resigned sigh.

Fine… she would do it but she shot Azel one last glare that warned him he was going to pay for the weapon if she broke it.

Azel merely chuckled and urged her forward gently. She gingerly took the arrow from the salesman and nocked it onto the bow.

She took a deep breath. 'He should better be ready to pay for this.' She thought before she drew the string as far as she felt she could without breaking it and fired.

Adelia nearly let out an audible sigh of relief when the arrow hit the center of the target. The bow hadn't broken!

From beside her, Azel broke into a proud grin and the assistant's eyes widened before he too, smiled and started to clap.

Startled, Adelia looked in the salesman's direction and when she saw the impression on his face, she gave him a faint smile.
