The sole reason for Azel's early arrival at the dreaded Empire of Dalniar, weeks before the event he had been invited for, was driven by a need to fulfill a favor for a dear friend.

Sylvera, a woman he had always regarded as an elder sister ever since he met her, a woman who was in desperate need of his assistance in locating something precious.

It only made sense that Azel was so interested in this particular piece of information; while it might not seem quite as important as the others he had heard in the eyes of outsiders, it meant a lot to him.

"Speak, Fabian," he demanded. "What have you found out?"

Fabian merely shrugged. "I've discovered several leads, Milord," he answered, "although most seem to be false claims."

Azel leaned back in his chair, seemingly disappointed. "If they aren't solid leads, Fabian, then they're of no use." He told him flatly. "You've returned with useless information."
