Visit with my past teacher

. The next day I finally have some free time so I head down to my teachers dojo. She has trained some of the best fairy's in the world... including me not to brag. I walk through the door and see if she is in the middle of a lesson and it turns out she's hanging from her hand in the middle of the training mat on a bow staff. This lady gets more skilled everytime I see her.

I walk up to her and tap her shoulder. She spins and stands on the staff before getting out of her stance. She hits my chin and hits my back, telling me to fix my pasture. I smile when she ask why I've come back. I explain to her the basics of my curse because shes my teacher" my sensei she is the one person I trust to not tell, shes master sky.

She just sighs afterwards and goes to grab her tea and sips it. " So what I'm getting from that is you want me to train you". I nod and she sighs again, like come on is it that such a bad thing. She walks back to her tea pot before opening the lid and launching the water towards me. I jump into the air and on to one of the support beams in the roof. She smiles and says "ok then lets get started".

She takes out a mat and we test my basic reflexes and connections to the nature. Why you ask?... she believes all this time away from the island has made me unconnected to the natural elements. Living in a big city with not a lot of forest or trees or animals can make you less energized.

I close my eyes and lay down on the mat.

sky walks over to the old music box of hers and plays a calming almost hypnotizing melody. I start to relax and get into the zone the place in between awake and asleep. That's when sky turns off the music and asks me what I hear. I listen in closely "I here the birds in the trees outside".

That's when I'm brought out of focus when a pebble hits me in the head. She tells me to continue and I focus in again. "I hear the waves coming to the shore and retreating back into the ocean" another pebble hits me in my arm and I open my eyes. I shut my eyes when sky gives me a look of disappointment.

I tell my self I got this and take a deep breath. " The waves are hitting the rocky side of the beach and the people are swimming on the beach" I sense a pebble coming towards me again and this time I quickly grab it before it hits me. I stand up and listen in again " the people in the town are happily selling and buying from shop to shop" another pebble comes towards me I slap it away. Master sky says "now tell me what you smell". I shut of one sense and breath in a waft of air " I smell the sweat dripping down your head and down your neck". Three pebbles come towards me I dodge two but one hits my stomach.

"I smell the pie in the bakery just down the road its Apple ... no cherry" This time I sense sky rushing towards me ready to punch me but I grab her fist and throw her over my shoulder and open my eyes. I apologize before focusing in again. I see something that is internal, a glimpse the fire from the past when I burnt down one of the towns on the island and I get totally out of focus. That's when my legs fall out from under me and I fall on my back hitting my head. I hold my head wincing in pain. Master sky had tripped me " don't let your emotions get to you, that will be all for now".

She helps me to my feet and I brush myself off before sky hands me a cup of tea. "Thank you master" I say as I blow on the hot tea. She smiles " you know at least your not as bad as before". I smile then look away as I frown, why did I see the past again. After I finish my cup of tea I leave the dojo and head back to the castle.
