Secrets And Heartbreaks

"So let me get this straight, Cyrus has a thing for red heads that are angels? Correct?", Dez asked as Cyrus rolled his eyes in pure annoyance. "It's not what it looks like-", Sophia said with guilt in her eyes as well as her voice and overall tone. "How could you keep this from me?", Cyrus exclaimed as if you looked rather closely, you could see that he was starting to tear up in pure sadness. "I can explain Cy-fi-", Sophia said as Eight released her from the machine as she rushed over to Cyrus. "I was an open book to you! I told you everything about me! I poured my heart for you and this is what i get in return?!", Cyrus was basically shouting at this point with Sophia almost breaking in the process. "I had to. I couldn't just tell you that i was an angel or-", Sophia started to say but Cyrus wasn't hearing her out this time. "After a year of dating, after a year of what i thought was a 50-50 relationship", Cyrus exclaimed with tears coming down his cheeks. "After i told you everything about me, including my darkest secrets, i can't even look at you." "Please Cyrus, I'm sorry. I really am sorry. I had no choice but-", Sophia said as she was basically begging for Cyrus to hear her out but it was of to no avail as Cyrus was too angry to listen by this point and didn't care for anything else Sophia had to say. "If i knew you were keeping this from me and god knows what else...I would have been ok if London left you for dead", Cyrus said with so much sadness and anger in his tone. Sophia then tried to say something but at this point, even if Cyrus could hear what she was saying, he didn't have the ears or the mindset to care as he turned and walked out of the throne room and even the castle itself with a mighty slam from the doors. "Well that went well", Xander said as he tried to lighten up the mood but it failed terribly. There was silence for a couple seconds as Sophia fell to the floor as her tears went into overdrive as she started to cry and cry and cry. It was as if someone had opened the floodgates to her tears and they all came rushing down her face. She didn't know what to do, she didn't know how to fix this and she didn't know if she would have anyone else on her side anymore. After a while of her crying, the queen then cleared her throat. "I think we have all the answers we need", the queen said in a sincere voice. The queen the signaled to Eight just as Penny and London went over and comparted her. As the girls tried to compart Sophia, Eight went into the back room and got out some tissues and handed them to Sophia. "I don't wanna intrude on this but um, how do i say it nicely, you should....get....some....rest", Eight said as he was trying to be nice but at the same time, follow what the queen was telling him as he showed Sophia to another room as the queen spoke again. "I see she wasn't a dark angel after all", The queen said as she tried to remove the awkwardness in the room and get back to where they left off. "I tried to tell you now can someone retrieve my brother?", Penny said with seriousness in her voice. "Guards!", the queen said as two guards came into the throne room. "Locate a tall, skinny, glasses and kind of handsome teenager and bring him here at once." "It will be done my queen", the guards said as they exited the throne room. "Now where were we?", the queen said. "Save it queen. After you just caused our friends to lash out on each other because of your paranoia, you expect us to listen to whatever you have to say?", London exclaimed as the queen looked down at the floor. "What i thought.", London said. "Look, you can walk out and i don't blame you for doing so", the queen said with guilt in her voice. "But if you do, you can't get back to you're world without a portal." "What do you mean by that?", Xander asked with a little bit of nervousness in his voice. "Portals don't stay open here anymore. Not until the dark angels showed up here and-", the queen said. "Wait a sec, can someone tell me what happened here that caused the people outside to get so...depressed looking?", Penny asked with pure confusion in her voice. "Very well", the queen said as she called with her mouth and Eight came out of the room that he was in with Sophia. "Eight, do the thing", the queen said. "What thing?", Eight asked. "The backstory thing you goober", the queen exclaimed. "Alright", Eight said as he got out a little looking camera and the throne room dissolved into what looked to be some sort of slideshow. "What is this kind of magic?", Dez asked. "Our own magic. Illusion magic. Allows us to bend areas to what we imagine to be", the queen said as Eight continued with the presentation. "Many suns and moons ago, we were a happy village full of nova hybrids as we like to call our kind and such. Everyone in the town was happy and cheerful and i was no expectation to this. I applied to be the queen's apprentice due to my tech skills and you know that story i would think", Eight explained. "So there was no fighting, just a happy town?", London asked. "It would be better if you could hold you're questions but yes. We didn't have the perfect town but we were happy. Thriving even for months on end. Oh how i miss those days", The queen said. "Anyway, one day, we experienced this shock through our town. It was like we felt a land becoming one", Eight explained. "The merge", Penny thought as Eight continued. "I was trying to figure out what the heck that was when my testing failed as there wasn't anything like that shock ever since. Eventually, my failed prototypes lead me to create weapons for myself witch you saw earlier. Now we don't know how but the Dark Angels, creatures for feeding of anger, hate, love and happiness caught wind of us and this town and so, they invaded, won the battle and took most of our happiness. The queen and i were able to hide for long enough but everyone else didn't in time and we had to hide into this cavern and i think you know the rest", Eight explained as he closed the presentation. "That's terrible", Xander said. "I don't believe it", Dez said. "Wait a sec, that must be why we were sent here, to try and help you guys", London said. "It could be but it's hard to go out there anymore. The angels can sense when there's happiness around outside but not inside walls and such", Eight said with a little joy in his voice. "Well we still have a chance. All we would need to do is spread joy right?", Xander asked. "Yes. Without those angels seeing you that is", The queen said. "Wait a sec, where did Cyrus go in the castle?", Penny asked with a nervous voice. "Frick", Eight said in a quiet voice. 

As Cyrus left the castle doors, he began to walk along the very same path that Eight took them on and began to cry some more. He felt heartbroken that he was putting in so much work towards there relationship and she wasn't telling him everything about who she was. "At this point, i just want to go home", Cyrus said as he took a seat on a nearby log and cried. After some time however, two shadows fell over him with the same wings that Sophia had on her, only this time, they were pure black. Cyrus looked up to see two teens that looked a little alike. "Hey there little guy", one of them said. "This won't hurt, i hope", the other one said as he punched Cyrus in the face as he fell to the floor. "You know what to do", one of them said as they started to pick up Cyrus and they flew away from the scene.
