The island was beautiful.

*Bam

The ocean was terrible as the waves changed from left to right and collided, making it impossible to escape its currents.

*Bam

The sand was warm and yellow, like the beautiful hot sun, but what were three young men doing there?

"You're strong," Caelus said as he landed a blow on the Ace, sending him flying.

*Cough

Ace spits out blood as he stands up as if nothing happened. His body was bruised from head to toe.

Caelus and Ace have been fighting for a long time, with each being able to land a blow on one another, Ace being tough and Caelus being fast.

They had been going on for an hour, to the point where the surroundings were changing, with no one wanting to back down.

Caelus was abnormal as a young child, but as he grew up he was trained in an intense situation where death is involved.

Did he fear death? Of course not, he felt excitement and was amazed at how death is close to ready to take your life.

In his life, he never lost, except for his grandfather.

That old man was not normal, not even in the slightest. It was like fighting against a sea monster, the power behind each punch.

"Haha, your fun" "Let's see how long you can keep up," Caelus said seriously as he threw up his forearms, blocking each of Ace's blows.

Ace slipped to the side, pushed Caelus's elbow down and away, caught his head, and slammed it against his right knee.

Caelus felt his vision blur but kept a smile as he stood quickly on his feet, watching Ace rush toward him in slow motion.

*Caelus pov

Ace was rushing toward me, but it was in slow motion. I didn't stand there waiting for him to get closer to me. The gap between me and him closed.

Ace threw a punch but missed as I slipped to the left, quickly enough for me to aim for his chest, sending him flying.

I didn't want to give Ace a chance to get up so I rushed quickly, and smashed an elbow into the side of Ace's skull, the soft spot high on the temple.

I threw every punch with every bit of power I had. Ace slapped my right fist down and punched me in the face.

*Pow

The pain I felt as the punch shattered my nose, as if the air was cut off, made me dizzy as I stood up but collapsed the next moment.

My grandfather always told me that the pain was just an illusory sensation that my mind could shut down if it needed to. Put it aside!

I took a deep breath. I exhaled slowly and inhaled slowly again, but the pain was excruciating.

I inched my arms under me and pushed myself up on my hands and knees. My head swam. I felt my stomach tighten and I threw up, which hurt the ribs some more. I stayed that way for a bit, on my hands and knees with my head hanging, like a winded horse. My eyes focused a little better.

The effect of the fight was now on. As the adrenaline subsided, Ace was still laying on the ground, but his state was worse than mine.

As if one or more teeth were missing from his mouth as he exhaled and inhaled, every once in a while he would groan in pain.

This fight was worth it.

Even if one loses or wins, the fights improved and honed one's skill.
