Unprepared Death
Ariella woke up much later and found out Jason wasn't beside her anymore. He was lying beside her when she slept.
Ariella charged up from the bed hastily. Jason promised not to go, but where was he?
Ariella got to the living room and met Isabella seated, they exchanged greeting before Ariella asked about Jason's whereabouts.
“Oh darling, he said he had an urgent call and had to leave,” Isabella explained.
Hearing the reason he left was urgent, Ariella understood, after all, he was an Alpha and his attention will always be needed.
“Ariel, what do you think I should do? My friend Susan has been strangely acting up, she no more talks to me and when I try to reach out to her, she avoids me.”
Ariella heaved, she knew Susan was doing all this because, Jason chose her Ariella over Susan's daughter.
“Mum, it's okay, don't worry she'll come around, we both know she's not happy Jason chose me over her daughter. For now, just let her be, she'll come around.”
