Successful hunt!

Dasan stopped a good way from the herd as the hunters stopped behind his horse mato asked "chief how do we hunt them?" Although they developed many hunting techniques they are mainly on foot only encirclement would work on horseback Dasan was in a dilemma as those pronghorns could probably see them coming from over a mile away and are the second fastest land animal in the world way faster than the horse with a sigh Dasan just said "encircle them but don't get close until you see them run then charge at them together and shoot as many as you can" he knew with this crude and would not get the whole herd but that was all he got his horses weren't faster than them he just hoped the pronghorns will not associate horses with danger and won't be alarmed until they start shooting, as the hunters left to encircle the herd Dasan stayed as he started scratching wilds neck at first it was hard to ride with no equipment but he quickly got used to it they use shifts of body weight to direct the horse like leaning a little left or right as Dasan waiting he started checking his weaponry he never truly took a close look he had a spear with a stone head a bow with arrows made out of stone some were made out of bone his spear was decorated with hide looking at his primitive weapons could only sigh even the worst of irons would be better even bronze would be better and all he knew were the iron ore deposits of the modern would he doesn't even know if it changed it this world as the Comanche are gigantic he believes it could change so his initial plan of expansion outside of the Great Plains will definitely be around Lake Superior as Dasan was thinking of all these things 20 minutes quickly passed

It's been 20 minutes Dasan believes with the horse speed every hunter should be in position right now not that they had position they just encircled based on if they could see they're fellow hunters or not if they could they'll move away to cover as much area as possible, seeing that it should be about time Dasan tapped and patted wild one last time as he started moving forward at first it was slow but then developed into a gallop as wild quickly covered the distance it seemed the pronghorn already seen them but as it never seen a horse it wasn't threatened it was more curious at what that big creature was this was a big win for Dasan as he managed to get really close he was 150 yards away from the herd at this point they became alert they never seen a horse but they won't let it get close so they started running at the opposite speed of Dasan unfortunately for the herd the hunters have long seen Dasan riding up to the herd and start galloping towards the herd aswell as the herd reacted at 140 yards it was already too late as the hunters were atleast 500 yards away making this encirclement a guaranteed it just counted on the hunters themselves to see how many pronghorns they can hunt, seeing the herd start to run Dasan quickly drew his bow and shot at the slower members of the herd as the fastest alreadyare far ahead Dasan succeeded in landing 3 shots but couldn't land more as the minutes passed finally arrows from all around the herd started beeing fired it looks like the hunters are finally at range the hunters could only fire 3 volleys before the pronghorn got out from the gaps as it's impossible for 80 horses to cover the whole area

As the pronghorns ran off the horses tightened they're encirclement as there were some pronghorns bleeding out that were slowed as all the pronghorns died Dasan said to his hunters "follow the blood trails of the pronghorn see if you can find some that bled out but don't chase too far come back" mato said "yes chief" as he took some hunters to follow the blood trails as Dasan and his hunters went around to the pronghorn corpses to make sure they were dead for the ones still alive but too weak to move they would kill them looking at the sky Dasan noticed the sun was almost setting so he started packing the corpse on the horses backs with the help of the hunters they only got 12 pronghorns out of the 100 that escape these were the ones that were hit and died instantly or was hit in a critical spot they were more hit but it looks like they got away seeing as it would take a while for mato and the hunters he brought to get back Dasan started small talks with the hunters involving hunts and family all the important stuff to tribal people

"So you said the last bison hunt you managed to kill a bison?" Asked Dasan as he was talking to a 6'3 men with well built muscles he was the 3rd best hunter of the tribe "yes chief when we were leading the buffalo of the cliff one extremely aggressive one charged at me I had no choice but to stab it with my spear but it wasn't easy I managed to stab it through the eye into its brain killing it instantly" said the man extremely excited at having killed a bison by himself as Dasan himself the best hunter hasn't killed one by himself yet and Dasan couldn't blame him he would be proud aswell if he killed a bison by himself he has only killed some wolves that tried to steal they're hunts as everyone were having chats Dasan and the hunters heard the distinct sound of horses running to find in the distance 10 horses coming they're way as they got closer they had pronghorns on the horses back only about 5 but a good number "chief these were the only ones we found that bled out the herd got to far so we made our way back"
