When Lu Muchen got the news from his mother, he didn't really get why she was so worried. Anyway since she called, then he has to go. He was with Mu Ze when she called, so came there with Mu Ze.

Back at the hall the party continued after Cheng Yinan, Madam Lu and Yang Ruoxi left. A calm looking Lu Muchen entered the hall, scanning around the hall with his sharp gaze. He looked like he was looking for something or someone. No one was expecting to see the man who had been causing a stir in the business world ever since he joined.

He had dominated almost every branch in business. The cold hearted CEO of the LU CORPORATION, actually showed up at a banquet. Not only that but he showed up with the infamous Playboy of City D.

Lu Muchen and Mu Ze ignored all the gazes around them. Some looked at them with admiration. Some also looked at them with envy and jealousy and some, mostly the ladies looked at them with lust. Lu Muchen took his phone from his pocket and called his mom. " Hello Ah Chen " came his mother's voice from the other end. " Mm..am here " . " She is in room number 765 " Madam Lu said and Lu Muchen hanged up. He left the hall with everyone's eyes following him.

He seemed to have not left alone as both the Cheng Duo and the He Duo followed right behind him.

" Bro Chen " He Yiyue called out to him but he did not respond neither did he stop. " Hey Mu Ze what are guys doing here " She turned her attention to Mu Ze instead.

" Aunt Lu called very worried so here we are " he said and increased his pace to catch up with Lu Muchen.

' Aunt Lu called worried ' He Yiyue thought, not quite understanding what that meant. ' or is it that woman ' she thought and continued walking.

Cheng Yuxi and her mother who also heard what Mu Ze said also did not understand what was going on.

" Mom " Lu Muchen called as he reached them. " She is not coming out " came the worried voice of mother Lu . Everyone knew who the ' She ' that was being mentioned was.

" Calm down " he told his mother and made a call. Less than 3 minutes, the manager of the hotel came with a key in his hand. He handed the key to Lu Muchen after greeting.

Lu Muchen opened the door and entered.

Everyone else entered with him. He looked around but couldn't find her. He entered the bedroom and there she was. He breathed in a sigh of relief.

Cheng Yinan noticed a presence and looked up only to find Lu Muchen looking at her. " What are doing here " she asked. She was sitting on the bed with her dress on her lap with a scissor in her hand. Lu Muchen looked at her and proceeded to sit beside her. " Mom called and told me what happened, she was worried when you locked yourself and didn't tell anyone anything " he explained.

Cheng Yinan felt guilty for not saying anything and caused everyone to worry. " Am sorry " she apologized. " it's okay but now tell me, what were you up to " he asked curiously looking at the dress she was holding. She smiled and pulled it up high so he could see it . She locked herself only to make adjustments to dress that was ruined. She had cut off the part were the wine had spilled. She cut cut it in a way that no string was left hanging. No one will notice that a part had been cut off. " I will be right back " she said and entered the bathroom.

After changing, Cheng Yinan made her way out. Lu Muchen couldn't believe that the dress looked much better than before. The dress was now a few inches below her knee. Her long, slender legs could be seen clearly.

" You look great " Lu Muchen said and she smiled. He held her hands and they left the room.

The people outside waiting for them looked up when they heard the door opening.

" Oh my dear " mother Lu said aproaching them. " am sorry Aunt, I didn't say anything and I made you worried " Cheng Yinan apologized. " It's okay my dear " she said lightly hugging her.

" As usual you always manage to surprise me girl " Yang Ruoxi said admiring the dress. " I guess I am a natural born surpriser " Cheng Yinan said looking proud of herself.

" Well I guess everything is okay now " this time it was Mother He who spoke.

" Yes Yes , come on guys let's get back to the party " Xu Xinyi also chimed in.

Cheng Yinan frowned seeing her step mother, step sister and another lady who looked exactly like He Yiyue. She just brushed it off as Lu Muchen lightly dragged her out of the room. A pair of eyes glared at Cheng Yinan and Lu Muchen's hands that were interwined together.

" Hey I hope you haven't danced yet cause am hoping to get your first dance tonight " Mu Ze said looking at Yang Ruoxi. Yang Ruoxi just ignored him, still annoyed that he didn't say anything after what happened between them.

" Hey wait up " Mu Ze said catching up with her.
