2 None of the Above

They stared at each other for another few seconds, both not talking or breaking the awkward silence. Finally, An Luxia gave up. She was not the patient type.

"Let's get married."

Finally, she received a reaction from the man. His lips twitched slightly but there was no response other than that, which came as a surprise to An Luxia. Shouldn't he gasp in surprise? Or jump up in excitement? Or stomp his foot on the ground in rage? Or none of the above?

Obviously, Mo Han decided to choose D, none of the above.

However, what An Luxia didn't realize was that the hand hidden from crossing his arms together had begun to shake. Was it from excitement or nervousness or both? Mo Han did not know.

He frowned slightly as he stared at An Luxia suspiciously. He had thought that he would need to use some method of force to have her stay. Obviously, that wasn't necessary anymore.

An Luxia began to get a little anxious and uneasy after several seconds when she received no reply. Perhaps, was he mute? Or deaf? Just as she was thinking over those two possibilities and whether she would change her decision if one of the two was true, he spoke.

"Why?"

An Luxia's eyes darted up immediately when she heard his deep and cold voice again, and her brain immediately registered it as the same voice from last night.

She excitedly leaned forward, causing the blanket to slip down slightly. She gasped as she remembered that she had no clothes on at the moment, and she quickly pulled the thin blanket back up.

From the other side of the room, hiding in the darkness, Mo Han gulped when he saw the sight.

An Luxia smiled her signature sweet smile, curving her round eyes into crescents, and shrugged, "You're cute!"

". . ."

Well, that was the first time he had ever heard someone use the word 'cute' to describe him. Indeed, after all this time, she was still very. . . unique.

He narrowed his eyes and leaned back against the chair, causing his entire face to disappear into the shadows, "Do you even know me?"

An Luxia thought for a second before shaking her head, "No, but don't worry! We can get married and then divorce after a year."

At once, Mo Han's face darkened. However, of course An Luxia didn't see that. His face was already a black sheet from her perspective since he was in the shadows, and she couldn't even make out his facial expressions.

Hearing no response, An Luxia obviously guessed that he still wasn't convinced so she blinked a few times and began to negotiate, "Then, half a year?"

Still, she heard no response.

"A few months?" She asked, raising her voice higher a few pitches.

Mo Han clenched his fists together and suddenly stood up from the chair. An Luxia did not expect for him to suddenly move, and her eyes followed him up, surprised at how tall he was.

He quickly walked over to her using only a few steps because of his long legs and he stopped a foot away from her, bending down slightly, "We can get married. . . but I won't divorce."

Out of the darkness and in a closer distance, An Luxia was able to get a much closer look at him. And, he did not disappoint.

Although she was very convinced to just nod and say yes because her face dog self could not resist his handsome face, she still suppressed the strong urge to do so and thought for a few seconds. Finally, she sighed and decided it wasn't worth it. She would have to find a different solution.

She looked up and scanned the room quickly, but did not find any sign of her clothes. She pressed her lips together before rolling the blanket around her like a cape and standing up from the bed, wobbling slightly because her legs felt unusually weak.

"Never mind then," she said a little disappointedly. "Do you have any clothes for me to wear?" She asked as she took a step forward, looking around the room.

The entire room was decorated using the color black. Black desk, black cabinets, black couch, even the floor was black.

She continued to walk to search for her clothes and also find the door to leave, but Mo Han suddenly grabbed onto her arm. His grip was much stronger than it looked, and it was slightly painful around her thin arm.

He turned her around to face him and he said coldly, "Let's get married."

An Luxia was slightly dizzy from the sudden turn and because her body was still very sore. When she looked straight ahead, she got a perfect view of the opening that revealed her chest, and she licked her lips before quickly looking away.

"I - Why?"

Mo Han looked down at her as several emotions flashed past his cold brown eyes. Finally, he gulped and looked back up, "I - We slept together. I will marry the only woman I sleep with."

The lie slipped through his teeth calmly, and he didn't even blink an eye as he looked straight ahead, hoping that she would believe him and agree.

An Luxia looked up at him a little surprised, not expecting him to be that kind of man. Maybe she was being a little judgemental based on his handsome looks. . .

However, his handsome appearance was the last straw for her. How could she possibly reject someone with a face like him?! She was the one gaining here okay?

An Luxia pressed her lips together and took a deep breath to try and hide her fast and excited heartbeat.

'It's okay. . . He is definitely a better choice than him. This is your only and best choice now, An Luxia! He looks like a decent person, and especially look at that face! Much better than that guy!' An Luxia comforted herself and after she was done convincing herself, she looked up with a bright smile:

"Okay then! Let's get married!"
