404 Chapter 408: Crazy

Li Tezhu saw the smile on Gu Ruochu's face and looked relieved.

"Nanchen."

"You're here?"

Huo Nanchen looked at her and smiled.

"I'm brought you some Sushi for lunch." Gu Ruochu put down the food proudly. Huo Nanchen walked towards her and took a look inside the food basket. "You made this?"

Gu Ruochu shook her head. "Of course not. Nanny Zhang made it."

Huo Nanchen burst into laughter. He watched as Gu Ruochu sat on the office sofa, and he strode over towards her. He leaned on both sides of her body and almost pressed himself against her. "If you didn't make it, why are you taking credit for it? Do you want me to praise you?"

"I've brought it over. Shouldn't you praise me for that?"

When Huo Nanchen saw her confident expression, he laughed again and asked in a low voice, "Okay, Madam Huo. How do you want me to praise you?"

"Mmm, eat it all." A smile flashed across Gu Ruochu's face, and she purposely moved closer to him. "Otherwise, it would be a waste of my effort to bring it here."

The look on Huo Nanchen's face intensified when he saw the provocation in Gu Ruochu's eyes. He bit his lips. She had delivered the delicious meal herself, wouldn't it be a waste if he did not eat it.

Huo Nanchen moved forward and kissed her. Gu Ruochu endured as he used his tongue to French kiss her.

Huo Nanchen's phone rang just as he was beginning to enjoy the kiss. Gu Ruochu pushed him away and tidied his hair with her fingers. Huo Nanchen's brows quickly furrowed.

When he saw the identity of the caller, he was even more unhappy and picked up the phone with a disgruntled tone.

"What's wrong?"

The other party hesitated, "Is your wife by your side?"

"Yes."

"Then forget it. It's nothing."

The caller hung up the phone. Gu Ruochu did not need to guess to know who it was. She watched as Huo Nanchen put his phone down in boredom. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." Huo Nanchen wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her from the sofa. "Let's eat together. You can work with me later."

Gu Ruochu obliged. His mood was much better now that she had taken the initiative to have lunch with him. Huo Nanchen held her wrist and slowly stroked it with his fingers. His actions made her heart tremble. "Madam Huo, are you trying to seduce me?"

Huo Nanchen held her hand and leaned forward to bite the food on the fork. He did not move his head back. His eyes evoked a soul-stirring sense of intimacy.

Huo Nanchen held Gu Ruochu's hand, and she could not move it. A burning sensation appeared on her face.

"You're crazy!"

Li Tezhu saw the interaction between the two through the glass window and smiled to himself as he left.

Lan Nuo had been waiting at the front desk for a while. Li Tezhu saw her and led her to Huo Nanchen's office. She saw the couple having their lunch and was astonished.

Her originally gentle smile disappeared. She glared at Li Tezhu in annoyance. Had he brought her to Huo Nanchen's office on purpose so she could witness the scene?

Lan Nuo stood at the door with a perplexed look on her face. She did not know whether to knock on the door or not.

'If I enter, I'm afraid that I'll be skinned alive. If I don't enter, I'll stand here and watch their sweet and sour moment.'

Just as Lan Nuo was trying to solve her dilemma, Huo Nanchen and Gu Ruochu finally finished their meal.

The two had take a long time to eat all the food that Gu Ruochu had brought. She did not want to distract him from his work any longer. She took her bag and planned on going to Wang Gang's company to organize the editing of their movie.

"I'll drive you there."

"No need. I'll drive myself."

Gu Ruochu did not want her man to pamper her too much. She was already in a good mood.

"Ruochu, I'm going to the hospital to see Cheng Xi later, so I will be late for dinner."
