11 Too adorable for me

After a successful supper, Thea and Erick left together. Nobody is talking; instead, they are all focused on enjoying the cool breeze on their skin as it hits them under the moonlight.

Yet Thea suddenly felt warm inside from having him so close by. She couldn't help but wonder if one of the reasons she had come back in the past was to work on her marriage to Erick, especially because she felt like there had been significant progress in that area recently. particularly on how they interacted with one another.

In her previous life, Thea ended up throwing water on Erick's face during their first encounter, cursing her grandfather and him for making her marry a commoner. Thea sighed and shook her head. No surprise Erick doesn't talk much to her back then. He had to stay away from her to keep the conflicts to a minimum or to avoid hearing the insults she hurled at him. Even though I constantly treated him like s—t, he always had a big heart and a lot of patience. He was always respectful to me.

What a true B*TCH I was, she sighed. I'm not going to let it happen again this time!

Thea was remembering her former existence. Erick, on the other hand, was experiencing conflicted feelings as he was second-guessing his choice to propose to her. He remembers what happened in the old man's study as he fixed his gaze on Thea's back.

I ought to at least try it. He sighed and tightened his hand, saying, "Thea has nothing to do with anything and she's innocent."

As they walked towards Erick's car, Thea turned her attention to his side profile, paying no attention to what he might be thinking.

Why did I let you leave, when Erick is so dashing? I know, I was so foolish back then! This time, unless you tell me otherwise, I'll only treasure you. I won't make you do anything you don't want to. I've already learned from experience that forced love will not work out nicely. Erick, please let me win you over this time. I will do everything in my power to win your heart in this lifetime. She sighs silently.

When Erick turned to face her, he felt her intense attention and asked, "Is there something on my face?" He then instinctively touched his face.

Thea laughed and shook her head, asking, "Did your superiors know that you had this cute side to you?" She caressed his cheek without meaning to, which surprised him.

"How does a man have such long, gorgeous eyelashes?"

' she thought while she lost her movement. As Erick watched Thea move, it seemed as though time had stopped. Her attractive face and glowing freckles caught the moonlight. and her bright, plump lips. While feeling his heartbeat quicken and making a pounding noise, Erick gulped on her face. He also gave his chest a small rub.

Erick said, "You're the first one who told me I'm cute, no one describes me that way," as she slowly released her hold on his face.

It is real. Only his close ones were witnesses to Erick's sweet and compassionate disposition. His harsh and authoritarian general is so feared by his soldiers that even the mention of his name sends shivers down their spines. Due to the rigorous training, you received under his supervision, if you are under his authority, you are one of the military's "iron soldiers." But Erick couldn't have imagined how someone could find him cute.

Thea grinned in defiance of Erick's actions as he asked, "What will I do with you, Thea?" as he chuckled and ran his long fingers through his silky black hair.

Moments ago, he was having a sense of guilt and now this woman makes him feel warmth in his chest. He could not escape the fact that he was drawn to her.

'Is this even possible, to be this attracted to a person you just met?

' he asked himself.

Thea giggled " Really.... but I always find you cute and adorable." She pauses and stares at Erick, they both stopped on their track.

"You're a nice person Erick" she continued to walk as she crossed her arms on her back.

Erick only pursed his lips thin and lowered his head.

'I'm glad I was transported back in time so I could have this experience with you, Erick. I've always admired your kindness for tolerating me for ten years and even sticking by me after our divorce. You just asked me if that's really what I wanted. You had a good heart, Erick, even before that. I'm overjoyed to have you as my husband. Whoever sent me back, I'm forever grateful. I won't waste this opportunity and will live peacefully with Erick.' She thought reminiscing about her previous life.

Thea remarked, "I'll miss this moment with you. Thank you for coming today, Erick, I genuinely am thankful," without realizing that she had just said aloud her innermost feelings.

"Thea, have we met before? I mean before we saw each other at the store. Why does it seem like we did?" Erick lifted his head inquiringly.

He had always pondered why Thea spoke and acted as if she already knew him, especially since the food earlier was all his favorite. Was the chance encounter in the store, not merely a coincidence?

Was she aware I was there? Did she organize everything? Is she faking her actions towards me? Her comfort with him and her informal demeanor with him. Erick thought everything was strange, and his general observational skills start to work.

Thea flinched as she halted on her track and gazed at Erick. She shook her head and sighed.

She lied, "No, yesterday was our first meeting," and turned her head in another direction.

He stared at her suspiciously, "I feel that you are treating me like you already know me."

He mentioned something that surprised Thea. 'I forgot that Erick has keen senses; perhaps he suspects me because of my terrible reputation, that I have a secret purpose on him.' She glanced at Erick, who was giving her his full attention, and thought, 'Did I make a mistake again? I only have one shot and I wrecked it again. At this time, I should be more cautious, to prevent being suspicious in the future.'

She bites her lips as she lowers her head. She feared making another error and losing Erick as a result. Her mind suddenly jolted with memories. With images playing over in her head like a movie, she is terrified that a careless blunder may cause her to lose Erick. 'NO!! She gave herself a big hug as she recognized how lonely and difficult it was to live without Erick.

"I-I-I'm sorry, D-did I make you feel weird, I'm sorry it will never happen again, I'll adjust," as she tightly embraced herself.

She struggled to contain her tears as she bit her lower lip Thea continues to droop her face.

"I-It's... j-just... that...", she said after pausing, "I felt comfortable with you. I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable. I didn't plan on anything. Please believe me, Erick." As she begins to shake with anxiety, she delicately rubs her arms.

Erick's chest stung when he heard Thea's reaction because he doesn't want to see her sad. That was not his intention. He merely thinks it unusual, but how could he complain, considering the care she's given to him?

'But, what makes it look as though she was afraid of something?'Did someone cause her to feel this way? I thought she always gets what she wants, am I wrong?! ', he thought.

Thea's misunderstanding is swiftly cleared up as Erick rushes toward her while holding her shoulder and gently lifting her chin to make eye contact. Erick slowly shook his head.

He took a time to purse his lips before saying, "No, Thea, you didn't make me feel uncomfortable."

His thumb involuntarily massaged Thea's cheeks, "I'm sorry that it seems that way, I didn't want you to feel so horrible about your actions, especially since you welcomed me into your home with such warmth. I'm delighted that you are comfortable with me."

Thea tilted her head and beamingly smiled at him, saying, "You did, that's a relief," as she put her palm on her chest. Thea's smiling face causes Erick to step back and release her face.

"How is it that a lady can smile so beautifully?

"I am too comfortable with you, Thea. I'm delighted that our first meeting came out so well," said Erick, swallowing his nonexistent saliva and nodding.

Sure, I'm glad to hear that as well," Thea said with a smile.

Maybe I just reacted too strongly earlier. I cannot help it, especially when Erick got married again in the future, and I don't have any idea who the woman is. And the idea that if I made a mistake, I would lose him to an unidentified woman terrified the hell out of me. She groaned quietly, "I should be more cautious in the future and should level up my methods on him.

She looked at the car, she wanted to stay longer with him but she was afraid that he would start to question her actions again. She will have to go slowly for the time being.

"I think this is where I bid goodbye"

"Thank you for your warm welcome, Thea. I'm a bit embarrassed that I haven't bought anything with me"

Thea smiled and shook her head, saying, "You didn't have to, Erick. Your presence is enough for me."

"You're too generous, Thea, but I insist. Ask me anything I can give you in exchange for your kindness today."

Thea's ears pop up in contrast. As soon as her shameless thought begins to flow, she immediately forgets what happened earlier.

'O- Oh... please refrain from doing so or I will demand payment in the form of your body for today'

Thea giggled as she got closer to him, saying in a seductive voice, "If you want to repay me," tiptoeing close to his ears and whispering, "A date is enough." Erick's ears turned red and shivers ran down his body. Thea moves in closer and kisses Erick's cheek, teasing him even more.

She parted from him with a contented smile and said, "Goodnight, Erick, drive safely," leaving the bewildered Erick frozen in place.

On his surprised expression, Thea managed a little grin. Unfortunately, my Erick is still naive today; although I am currently 3 years younger than him, I am 35 years old mentally. She laughed at her brazenness. "Even as a grown woman, I always wanted to ravish my husband."

Thea laughed as she made her way back to the house, "How I wish to kiss you on the lips, but the way you reacted now, it will be a long way for me to be able to do that without giving him a heart attack."

While Thea was having her shameless thoughts. Erick, on the other hand, was bewildered by what happened, he mumbled on his root:
