Daiju

Juniper opened the door and saw Gio standing there.

"Come in," Juniper said kindly.

Gio entered and sat at the table. Juniper quickly poured them both some stew and put them on the table.

"Thank you, this looks delicious!" Gio said

They both enjoyed a hearty meal, talking about the day's events. Gio finished the rest of the stew and bread clean.

"I must say, you're quite talented. I'm impressed." Gio complimented.

"Well, thank you. I just try to make the dishes I love and think others might enjoy."

"You really do have talent. This is amazing. Where did you learn to cook?"

Juniper hesitated for a brief second. "It was mostly self taught.. when I was growing up it was just me and my brother. I would look after the house when he was working. My brother also taught me a lot so I could go anywhere in the world and still have something to eat. He used to teach me whenever he had time outside work. We would start with a simple soup and then move onto whatever else I needed help learning."

"That's great. So you've been cooking since your childhood? That's impressive. You can use your knowledge and experience to write a book, or create a recipe app. People would pay money to get access to your recipes."

Juniper smiled "Thank you, that's a nice idea. But first im trying my hand at cooking broadcasting.. If people are willing to pay for my book, then I'll write one."

"Great. Well if you ever want a taste tester for your food, let me know."

"Thanks." Juniper laughed.

After dinner they parted ways, It was getting late and the sun had already set.

Gio kissed Juniper lightly on his forehead and headed back to his home. Juniper took the stew pot out and cleaned up her mess before heading off to bed. Once there he put the dish away and closed the door behind him. Then he collapsed into bed and fell asleep. Little did Juniper know that his broadcast had caught people's attention online and comments were still being made on the saved video.

<'This has to be some rich kid right? those vegetables look so fresh'>

<'to be honest It doesnt look like a noble that kitchen is way too small'>

<'I'm pretty sure this guy doesn't have any real skills its probably fake. Just looks good in front of a camera.'>

<'I bet the above comment is from a jealous female!'>

The comments continued to flood in, and a certain someone was watching the video but Juniper was oblivious to all of it.

In a hotel on the outside of the capital city of Engata, it was close to the movie sets and most actors stayed in this hotel while filming, a young man in a suit and glasses walked through the hallway. His name was Daizen and he was here on business. He pulled out his communicator and checked the time and date: 11pm. Pushing up his glasses Daizen arrived at the room and let himself in. He found a light coming from the bedroom. His face went black and he pushed open the bedroom door.

''You have a shoot in the morning dont you know?'' Daizen said sternly

"Yes, yes I know," the man was lax on the bed in a nightgown watching something on his communicator. The screen glowed brightly.

Daizen's eyes twitched as the man who didnt seem to move an inch or even bother to look back. "I know you're not sleeping, and you should be!" Daizen yelled louder.

The man moved his pale grey eyes slightly to look towards Daizen. "..Soon." he said and turned back to his screen.

Daizen felt his veins on his forehead jump. He was a Manager to the man laying on the bed, the man's name in question was Daiju who was from the sea-snake tribe, as an aquatic male his appearence is exceptional. Those from Oceanic origins tend to take jobs in the Celebrity line and are pretty successful. He had been with him for years since his first debut as an Actor, but he felt like he aged a lot dealing with his lazy attitude.

'He needs a kicking.' Daizen thought to himself.

"You need to wake up on time, you have a morning shoot and you need to be in makeup by 5am!"

Daiju was quiet.

Daizen got angry and kicked the bed. "What did I tell you about sleeping?"

"Soon."

Daizen took one last look at Daiju and sighed.

Daizen left the room without saying anything more.

Once Daizen left Daiju continued to play the broadcast he was watching, one of Daiju's hobbies was watching food broadcasts, he was a regular visitor to many broadcast rooms. Daiju loved to watch them, to put it simply he was a foodie. Due to his profession he had to keep in shape and for certain roles he would need to have to follow strict eating and exercise habits. The broadcast would help Daiju's cravings; it had everything from exotic dishes to local favorites. And most importantly it had new broadcaster that Daiju showed interest in, it was a coincidence that he came across Junipers broadcast since it was on the new list. He didnt expect that it was a person who he had matched with recently on the Pheremone database.

Daiju curled his lips and narrowed his eyes, he had a slight interest and decided to donate a generous sum to Junipers broadcast room and applied to be a Moderator.
