CHAPTER 75

The clashing of steel between Kagura and Erza was a shock to everyone in the guild. It hasn't been a week and another fight between guild members was already happening. The look of anger in the eyes of Kagura is a testament to how serious their quarrel was. Not wanting for things to become even more problematic, Macao step in and said, "Please no fighting. We are all friends here. We can discuss what the problem is and perhaps solve it. Please sheathed your blades!".

"Friends? Don't make me laugh, Macao. Erza is no longer my friend. In fact, we weren't even friends, to begin with", Kagura then took multiple steps back but her eyesight never leaving Erza.

"Erza had lied to me since the first time we met! Tell me, how can I not be angry at a person like that?!", Kagura said with venom in her voice.

Erza had a painful look on her face and she said, "I'm truly sorry for lying to you, Kagura. I didn't mean to hurt you...", Erza glances at Jellal, "But I can't allow you to hurt Jellal. Just like you, he is also a victim of circumstances".

"Victim of Circumstances! Why are you on Jellal's side! You were there when I felt alone! You were there when Enzo left me in the guild for months! You were my closest friend and to learn that you were hiding that huge truth from me....". With tears falling out of Kagura's eyes, "How could you betray me!".

Kagura with unnatural speed slashes the air in front of her to deliver an attack that barely a few could see. Erza immediately requip a blade to block the attack but the force of the attack made her drop to one knee to stabilize herself.

"What the?!"

"Damn..."

Kagura's attack was so powerful and precise that everyone in the guild was shocked at the outcome. With one swing of her sword, Kagura was able to cut the guild in half like a hot knife cutting through butter.

"NO!", Macao shouted with agony in his voice. In the span of 24 hours, under his care, the guild was once again destroyed and it wasn't something that could easily be repaired.

"I have had enough of your talk and apologies! I will show you the pain of your betrayal!", Kagura shouted as she simultaneously applied gravity to Erza and sprinted towards her to deliver a powerful slash to her midsection.

Erza seeing the sword coming her way, immediately burst her magical energy into her left hand to deflect Kagura's attack at the last moment.

"clang"

"Damn it!", Kagura said with anger in her voice due to her attack being deflected.

Not wanting for their fight to cause any more damage to the guild. Erza immediately used her 'Black Wing Armor' to take flight. She delivers a powerful kick towards Kagura which Kagura blocks by using her free hand.

Erza slowly took flight and said, "If you want to continue this fight. Let's do it outside. Not here in the guild".

With narrowed eyes, Kagura scanned the guild building and reluctantly said, "Fine".

"We got ourselves a good fight! I'm all fired up!", Natsu said while both female combatants left the guild to continue the fight elsewhere.

"Natsu, this ain't a casual quarrel among friends. This is serious. We need to stop it", Lucy said.

"Nah, I don't think so. Kagura and Erza are friends. They're just having a rough patch", Natsu said with a toothy grin on his face. He then went and followed Erza and Kagura to watch a good fight.

Lucy looks at the door of the guild and said, "I sure hope so".

MEANWHILE:

Outside of the town of Magnolia. A Dark guild could be seen located in a rocky wasteland, it is being surrounded by large formations of bare rocks. The building itself is dug into the rocks, consisting of a high, slender, and grossly carved fortress seemingly shaped out of a mountain, possessing jagged walls studded with rough openings of various sizes, acting as windows, and sporting slender spires protruding upwards from its entire perimeter. One of such spires, possessing a balcony with a stone balustrade, houses what looks like a laboratory of sort.

At the very roof of the guild, a blue flag could be seen dancing in the wind. The guild is none other than Raven Tail, the dark guild founded by the excommunicated son of Makarov Dreyar.

Laxus could be seen walking towards the imposing-looking guild. Ever since he left the guild, the former S-rank mage of Fairy Tail hadn't stop traveling and went straight to the guild of his father. This had proven Makarov's hypothesis about Laxus knowing where his father has been hiding all these years.

In the distance, a few hundred meters away from Laxus, Enzo could be seen watching or the more appropriate thing to say is that he is sensing Laxus using his observation haki. He didn't want Laxus to smell him due to his dragon slayer abilities. This was also the main reason why he was careful about where the direction of the wind was headed. And it was because of this mission that Enzo said to himself that he will never follow a danger slayer again. Tailing one was a job that so problematic even for the likes of Enzo. There always a number of things that you needed to be careful about and Enzo had become annoyed at this. Even though he has only been tailing Laxus for more than 24 hours.

Aside from that one clear instruction, Makarov only told him to contact him when he found the location of his son. He didn't have to do anything aside from that. Enzo wanted to storm the building and attack it. He was sure that the Magic Council will thank him for taking out a dark guild. But he was hesitant to do that. Due to the guild being founded by Ivan Dreyar, who is Makarov's son. He wasn't so keen on the idea of putting him in prison.

He took out a small-sized portable lacrima and contacted Makarov but it seems that no one would answer on the other end.

"Okay, maybe I'll just stay here for a while and see what will happen. I'll try contacting Makarov after a few hours", Enzo said with a yawn. "Damn, I need some sleep".
