CHAPTER 45

During the short battle that Totomaru had with Kagura, he realized one thing. He was having trouble fighting the younger mage in front of him. Right now the girl hasn't even unsheathed her blade and the fight is already a draw. Totomaru was greatly troubled by how strong the girl could become once she released her blade. This had vexed him greatly and he said, "So you won't unsheath your blade. Talk about disrespectful".

"You don't deserve my respect. Your guild attacked my friends and our guild master. People like shouldn't be respected", Kagura replied with a cold tone on her voice.

With a smirk on his face, Totomaru said, "Then that will be your downfall". Totomaru then summoned multiple colored flames. The flames then began to spin in his sword. Totomaru was banking that Kagura would become prideful and totally commit to not using her sword. With this, he believes that he has a shot at winning.

"You will lose little girl", Totomaru said. Both swordsman then positioned themselves. The two individuals had decided to end this fight within the next sword clash.

"Rainbow flame slash"

"Sheathed form: Great Destruction"

"Bang!"

The two opponents then met against each other with one final clash of steel, one with a burning sword and the other with a sheathed blade. After the clash, the room was silent, both opponents stood with backs facing against each other.

The first one to break the silence was Totomaru, and he said, "Damn, your good". He then fell to the ground face first. Kagura's attack was not how he anticipated it to be.

Kagura then turned around and she said, "YES!". She was incredibly happy that she won when suddenly she realized that Totomaru's attack burned a sleeve off her shirt.

"I like this shirt", Kagura said weakly as she looks at the burn.

Kagura was suddenly taken out of her sadness from her burned shirt when she heard a voice in her head.

"Is anybody there"

"Mira?... Is that you", Kagura said with confusion in her voice.

"What the?!", Elfman said.

"Who is this?" Gray said.

"Why are there voices in my head?", Natsu said.

"Mira, what's happening?", Erza said.

"Okay, I'll do the talking. Right now I'm able to talk to all of you by using Warren's telepathy magic", Mira said.

"Hey guys", Warren said.

"Not now Warren", Mira interjected.

"Sorry"

"Okay, where was I? Oh right. I figured out a way for you to stop Abyss Break from activating. Abyss Break is a magical spell that requires four elements; fire, earth, water, and wind. These elements signify element 4 of Phantom Lord. Meaning the only way to cancel the spell is to defeat 'The Element four' before the seal is finished", Mira said.

"I already took care of the fire wizard", Kagura stated.

"You're in luck cause I'm already looking at one of the 'Element 4'", Elfman stated.

"Same here", Gray said.

"I'll handle Aria then", Erza said.

"Remember Gajeel's mine", Natsu said.

"Take care everyone", Mira said as she ended the link.

MEANWHILE:

"It's nice to meet you. I am Monsieur Sol, a member of Phantom Lord's elite group, 'The Element Four'", a man wearing a suit said as he came out of the ground.

"I am Elfman Strauss", Elfman said as he introduces himself to his opponent.

"I know all about you... No, more than that, my head contains details pertaining to all the mages of Fairy Tail", Sol said to Elfman.

"Do you now", Elfman replied in a sarcastic manner.

"Indeed I do", Sol said as a magic circle appeared in front of him.

"SABLE DANCE!", Sol then summoned a swirl of sand that attacks Elfman in all directions.

"TEKKAI!", Elfman said as he tanks the attack of the swirling sand.

After Sol's magic ended, he said, "I do believe...you had a younger sister, yes?"

Elfman gave no response and just looks at the man in front of him.

"Not talking I see...Then feel the power of my magic. ROCHE CONCERTO!!!', Sol then fired multiple massive rocks at Elfman.

But Elfman just remained in place and just did the same technique when he was hit by Sol's previous spell.

"BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!"

As the rocks hit Elfman small wounds could be seen on his body.

" 'Salut', Elfman 'salut'. Why aren't you fighting me back? Are you scared? Are you scared like the same way your sister was when she died?...'Salut' Elfman, 'salut'", Sol said in a mocking tone.

"...I know my mistake...killed my sister... For the past two years, I have realized that I needed to make peace with myself. To become me again...is the beginning of me becoming a man.", Elfman said as he removed the shirt that he was wearing and threw it on the ground.

With one of his eyebrows raised, Sol said, "Oh really now, Monsieur Elfman?".

"I learned what a man is... A man is an individual who knows his mistake and lives his life to the fullest despite it. I know my sister would want that", Elfman said as he transformed using take-over magic.

Elfman's size increases exponentially, with his arms growing longer, larger, and sprouting sharp claws, and he became covered in thick fur, with his abdomen and pectorals prominent in the middle. His hair takes on a mane-like appearance, his ears and canine teeth become pointed, and he grows a pair of striped horns pointing upwards, starting from a plate on his forehead. Elfman's legs were much smaller in comparison to his large arms and torso, he grew dark hooves, and he also gained a pair of protrusions sprouting from his shoulders, similar in appearance to his horns.

"BEAST SOUL FULL-BODY TAKE OVER"

"SEIMEI KIKAN"

Slowly Elfman's body began to form transform into a more human-like shape.

"You think you can defeat me with that!", Sol said as multiple magic seals began to appear in front of him.

"ROCHE CONCERTO!!!!"

"SABLE DANCE!!!!"

Seeing Elfman getting hit by all his spells, Sol had a smirk on his face and he said, "I will finish you up with my most powerful magic. Platre Sonata!!".

A large stone fist began to take form and charges at where Elfman was standing.

"BANG!!!!"

Dust began to spread in the surroundings and Sol bowed like that of a butler and said, "Thank you for the fight, Monsieur Elfman".

Sol was about to leave when he heard a voice coming from where Elfman was standing previously, "I'm not done yet".

"What-", Sol couldn't finish his sentence due to Elfman rushing towards him and delivering multiple punches.

"IRON SMASH BARRAGE!!!"

"BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!!"

Sol's face was already black and blue but Elfman didn't stop there. "This is my most powerful attack, Rokuogan!"

"BANG!"

Sol was then blasted a couple of dozen meters away. He couldn't stand up after that beating he took.

"That takes care of the earth element", Elfman said to himself.
