Or will he be drawn back into the darkness, forced to confront the life what destroyed by him in past - Yue Ling! ...................................................................................... "Ah, the Mighty Wind Lord has become a crying child." Yue Ling's voice was as vicious as a snake and burst out with joy. "Ha ha, you lost your brothers, lost your soul, sacrificed everything for your victory, but why is it still like this? How ironic, dear Feng!" Zi Feng's face was flushed with hatred. Stumbling up, he directly grabbed Yue Ling's shoulders, sinking his eyes into his eternally dark eyes. "Yue Ling!" he shouted. "You have won, heaven is already bathed from the blood of my brothers. Please get out of here now," he cried in his heart-rending grief. The devil's lips curled into a cruel smile. "Victory is most beautiful with the vanquisher's fury. My wind Lord, where is your anger? Where is your vengeance?" Closing his eyes tightly, Zi Feng let the tears flow down his cheeks. "My anger is drowned in a deep ocean, Yue Ling. An ocean of sorrow and blood. So please leave. do not..........force me...........anymore." “Oh, my lord,” Yue Ling said, running his fingers to wipe away the tears on Zi Feng's cheeks. "If you're like this, it's no fun. How about we go to my palace together? And give a toast to your dead comrades. Oh, for your Li Jiu too." Yue Ling's right hand wrapped around Zi Feng's waist and pressed him against his body. His left hand was tugging at Zi Feng's silky hair. "But you know, making yourself the prize of my triumph isn't so bad." He whispered into Si Feng's ear. Suffering from both physical and mental pain, Zi Feng was unable to escape from Yue Ling's grasp. "Why? Why did you do that? Your revenge was to be taken from me. If you said so, I would gladly hand myself over to you. After all, I had to do it, because I was responsible. But why? Why did they all have to die? Why did Li Jiu have to die? Answer me!" "Shhh! My lord, killing you won't solve my problem. I want you to suffer all the pain in this world and watch everything you love slowly to dissolve into darkness……I want you to," Zi Feng's jaws held. Yue Ling lifted Feng's face up, forcing him to look into his eyes. "I want you to melt away, fall on your knees beside me and beg for all of this to stop. But I won't stop until all your loved ones are dead. Li Jiu is only the beginning……the sun, the moon will all be destroyed. Oh, and also your dear brother too.............Wei Yunhe!”

The night-devouring celestial

In the corner of the hall was a sunken sword on a stone statue. Its hilt was studded with red gemstones and the blade of the sword was dark black. It was without a doubt the most beautiful and sharpest sword Wu Xuan had ever seen.

"You don't think of taking it out, do you?" Jun Jiu asked, resting her head on his shoulder. But that was what Wu Xuan was really thinking. It didn't matter if Nami was able to find his sword or not if that sword was available. "You can't do it even if you want to." Jun Jiu said.

"For three hundred years no one has been able to take out that sword."

"Is that some kind of special sword?"

Jun Jiu stood up. Smiling at Wu Xuan, she slowly moved her fingers around the hilt of the sword. "My dear, have you heard about Wuyin and Tianxing?"

Wu Xuan stirred his memory. He had read it somewhere. "Oh right," he muttered as the memory came to him. Jun Jiu smiled. "Tianxing is the weapon of the former God of War, and so far, only Zi Feng, Lord of the Winds, has been able to wield Tianxing than him." Her eyes narrowed as she uttered the name Zi Feng, and a murderous gaze penetrated the sword.

"Tianxing and Wuyin are twin swords. They are made of falling stars and are forged by Sun himself. Then do you know who owns Wuyin?" Jun Jiu asked a question.

Wu Xuan let out a long sigh. "Yue Ling." Jun Jiu smiled at him and clapped her hands. Around them, the maids, whose heads were lowered to the floor, shuddered as if in mortal fear. With the recognition of the sword, Wu Xuan's hopes were dashed. If that sword was indeed Wuyin, he was not sure that he would be able to even pick it up let alone handle it..

"But strange," Jun Jiu said. "Wuyin rang twice during this time. The idea is that Tianxing has returned." Wu Xuan bit his lip. If Jun Jiu finds out that Yu Lingyu is Zi Feng's reincarnation, it will become a big problem.

"Ah!" A maid screamed and clutching her bleeding right hand with her other hand, she rolled along the ground. At the entrance to the hall was a person glowing red. His eyes were glowing bright red. His claws were long and sharp, like wolf claws. "You damn woman!" Meng Zhi roared. He extended his blood-stained claw at Jun Jiu. "Where's the exit?"

Jun Jiu remained shocked for a while. Then she laughed out loud with the applause, startling everyone. Looking at Meng Zhi, Wu Xuan rolled his eyes in disdain. "What a fool!"

"Meng gongzi oh Meng gongzi," she smiled like a maniac. Meng Zhi's patience ran out of bounds. Taking out his claws, he lunged at Jun Jiu. She dodged it but his long claws scraped one of her cheeks. "Oh, Meng gongzi," she said, wiping away the warm blood that ran down her cheek. "Forget the wedding rituals," she said, dusting off her cloak and looking directly at Meng Zhi. "I'll kill you right now."

Wu Xuan could not clearly see anything that happened after that. As the maids ran away screaming, he was trapped in one corner of the hall. There was a strong mist pouring out from somewhere, and the most he could see was Meng Zhi's bright red spiritual energy beams. "Listen to the sound," he muttered to himself.

He closed his eyes tightly and listened to the environment around him. The sounds of footsteps, the sound of something sharp scraping along the ground, he could distinguish Meng Zhi and Jun Jiu and even visualize their movements. And there was another sound of footsteps, but with it the sound of a drawn weapon cutting through the mist.

"Wu Xuan!" As Nami's voice rose, Wu Xuan jumped up and grabbed his sword. But at the same time, an ear-piercing, eerie flute music echoed through the hall. Although the mist seemed to be receding, it was still thick enough to block one's vision. Extending the sword forward, Wu Xuan took a long breath. Purple static lightning was emanating around his sword. "Lightning technique…" he muttered, closing his eyes tightly. "Razor Light!"

He charged forward, slicing through the mist like a bolt of lightning, and a small lightning thundered across his sword, piercing through the tip like a sharp razor. Missing Meng Zhi in a thread, the sword pierced Jun Jiu's groin and immediately Wu Xuan pulled it back, just as she jumped away from him.

"There there now, my dear!" Her cold, merciless voice echoed through the earth. Wu Xuan, who did not wait for a moment, launched one attack after another, but Jun Jiu dodged all of them. Wu Xuan and Meng Zhi attacked at once, but they were unable to catch her. Meanwhile, the flute playing became louder and in a few moments the mist disappeared completely, giving Wu Xuan his sight again.

Everything was upside down. Jin Jiu stood upright next to the Wuyin sword and waited. Although her abdomen was injured, it seemed to do her no harm. "Lightning huh?" She looked at Wu Xuan. "How wonderful my love, I love it too." She took out a dagger hanging from her belt. Its hilt was shaped like a lightning bolt and on it was a bright blue gemstone. Even the tip was unusually bright blue. Even more dangerous was the explosion of lightning around the dagger.

"Let me see whose lightning is stronger." Smiling frantically, she pointed the dagger at Wu Xuan, and the lightning bolt that sprang from it was deflected by him with difficulty.

"Lightning technique....purple ring!"

Lightning swirled around his sword like a ring. As he thrust it into her, it spun at a speed that would have split you two even just by touching it. But Jun Jiu simply extended her dagger forward. Wu Xuan's attack didn't even come close to her.

"Tsk," Meng Zhi made a displeased sound. "Never mind," he told Wu Xuan. He was bleeding from several parts of his body and looked tired. "It's an Elemental dagger."

Wu Xuan's brow furrowed. Certainly not good news. He had never met a person before who could dissolve his purple ring so easily. Wu Xuan was simply useless against her. It was true that she was not as powerful as Xul'goth, but in his current state, Wu Xuan was a setback. Nothing has been going in his favor lately. "Has bad luck fallen on my head?" He whispered softly.

That one moment of distraction was more than useful for Jun Jiu. Her next attack was directed at Meng Zhi. Her lightning struck him, severing his right arm at the shoulder. Letting out a painful moan, he screamed and pressed his wound to stop bleeding. "Damn it!" He muttered, blood-curdling, in agony.

"So what if it's an elemental dagger?" Wu Xuan said looking at Meng Zhi who was crying in pain. "I will not lose!"

"We will not lose!" Nami said holding the flute to her lips again. Wu Xuan drew his sword and leaped forward as the flute emitted a louder but peaceful sound than before. Blue and purple lightning collided, destroying everything in its path. Wu Xuan unleashed the Thousand Lightning Technique, kicking Meng Zhi into a corner of the hall, but it did not harm her at all. And Wu Xuan on the other hand was not an immortal. His steps weaken as his old wounds get festered. Nami's flute music quickened his steps, and even though the injuries he sustained quickly healed, he was still no match for Jun Jiu.

"Die!" Jun Jiu's attack was directed at Nami this time. She couldn't dodge it and Wu Xuan wasn't fast enough to stop it. If not for Meng Zhi, who jumped towards her at the right moment and pushed her away as the bright blue lightning reached her, she would surely have turned into an ember. But her flute was not so lucky. Made of fragile white jade, it shattered with a shriek as it dropped to the ground, ending Wu Xuan's only support. He narrowed his eyes and bit his lip.

Jun Jiu also seemed surprised by Meng Zhi's move and she started to laugh out loud, completely forgetting about Wu Xuan. "An opening!" Xuan Wu charged the sword with spiritual energy and thrust it towards Jun Jiu. Rushing past her, he pulled away as his sword drew across her neck. He was too late when he heard something break with a metallic sound. Wu Xu his sword's blade broke in half so that one part rested at Jun Jiu's feet and the other rested on Wu Xuan's arm.

Wu Xuan had experienced it before. Didn't the skull maniac he met in the forest that day have the same toughness?

"As he said, you are not Zi Feng." Jun Jiu said facing him.

 "Huh?"

"Ah, that's so sad. I thought I finally found Zi Feng, but you're not him. That punk! How dare him to lie to me?" Jun Jiu shouted, suddenly showing emotions of anger and frustration. "You thought I was Zi Feng?" Wu Xuan asked, lowering his voice. He had no idea what was going on.

"Of course, you can't be him!" she screamed. "If he didn't lie to me, I wouldn't have bothered to bring you here! Damn it!"

"So who is this he?"

With that problem, Jun Jiu's eyes brightened. "Ha ha, if I don't understand you will ask me out every detail, won't you my dear?"

Wu Xuan - "...?"

"There there now, it's not good for you to do that." Jun Jiu said, throwing a swift kick at Nami who came up behind her. "My good maid, I have more work for you."

As Nami's ribs broke, she was pulled back quickly hit the stone wall, and froze.

"Now you, my love," she said, glancing at Wu Xuan and running her fingers over her dagger. "Are you going to defeat me with that half-sword?" She held her dagger forward. As the fast lightning sergeant hit him, he barely blocked it but was thrown back and rolled next to Wuyin. His wounds from the battle with Xul'goth were gaping and he coughed up blood, clutching his chest with his hands.

'I can't lose! I can't! At least not this time, not until I heal Lingyu.'

He felt his whole body burning. 'I promised to protect him, but I can't even protect myself.' Dark blood was coming out of his mouth. It burned his entire body and he gasped for breath.

"Do you know?" Jun Jiu said slowly, walking towards him with her graceful gait. "My poison, one of the strongest poisons in the world. It's slowly consuming your soul. Trust me, it's a lot of pain. So…. why don't you give me your soul to end this quickly?" She said with a melodious smile as she picked up the dagger.

"Don't let the dagger touch you…" Meng Zhi growled weakly. "Elemental daggers also known as soul-devouring daggers!"

He tried to get up, but immediately fell weakly back to the ground.

'Hey, you there!' As Jun Jiu slowly approached, someone spoke from inside Wu Xuan's head. 'Grab the sword behind you!'

Wu Xuan did not argue. Grabbing Wuyin's sword hilt, he tried to pull it up from the stone it was stuck in. Seeing his actions, Jun Jiu smiled as if seeing something very funny. She sent a small bolt of lightning at Wu Xuan as if to undermine his efforts. They cut and burned his body, but Wu Xuan did not stop.

'Please, please, please! I can't lose!'

"After I kill you, I'll take good care of your pet too. Don't worry, I'll cook him up deliciously." Jun Jiu said to anger Wu Xuan. And she was successful. His anger ignored his self-preservation. As Wuyin rang strangely, Jun Jiu's dagger landed on his shoulder with lightning speed, knocking Wu Xuan to his knees.

"you idiot!" He heard Meng Zhi's voice from far away. His past flashed before him like a dream as Jun Jiu's laughter filled his ears.

"Lu Yu," Wu Xuan looked at the small demon spirit smiling at him despite being covered in blood. The demon spirit's eyes were filled with kindness and comfort. "You promise me to protect me," he whispered, coughing up blood. "But why did yo-you kill me?" Wu Xuan's eyes widened. No! He wanted to scream.

'No! No! Not me!'

"Then protect me," said the demon spirit. "Protect me Lu Yu, as you promised!"

"L-Lan..." Wu Xuan muttered as his body filled with strange power, pulling the dagger out of his body. Jun Jiu's eyes widened. "H-how?" Wu Xuan's presence was fading and a demonic aura was forming around him. The person in front of Jun Jiu was no longer Wu Xuan. "How dare you to...." He said placing his hand on Wuyin. It was also ringing loudly and shaking as if it needed to get out of its trapped place.

"Y-You're not Zi Feng….H-How?" Jun Jiu said in a panic. She had never been so scared. She felt that even Wu Xuan's presence brought out her inner fear. Wu Xuan smiled, a menacing smile. "I am not Zi Feng!" His voice sounded like a combination of two. As the underground dungeon shook as if there was an earthquake, he pulled Wuyin out as easily as pulling out a needle. The sword quivered and acknowledged its master.

"Wait! Wait- don't come at me!" Jun Jiu screamed, tugging at her hair like a maniac.

But Wu Xuan did not stop.

"Because I am..." The sound of footsteps echoed through the hall as he stepped forward. With just one swing of his sword, Jun Jiu didn't even have a chance to defend herself. Before she knew it, her head was separated from her torso.

"I am the night-devouring celestial," Wu Xuan said as Jun Jiu's head fell to the ground. "Yue Ling!"
